Came through from Edinburgh today, I highly recommend visiting as Alfy the owner is a top bloke, he makes you feel welcome from the moment you enter his shop, and encourages you to see his memorabilia and get your photos taken, you couldn’t ask for a nicer and more welcoming person to show you the shop and the area outside. Amy and Thomas from Northern Ireland. Alfy is a true gentleman and a great laugh. He was more than happy to take photos of us outside and around the shop - we loved being behind the counter with "Navid"! The wee shop itself is lovely as it is kept clean and there's lots of different things to buy. As well as regular groceries you can also buy slushies, hot dogs, whippy ice cream and Still Game key rings. The shop is filled with Still Game memorabilia too, so don't be afraid to ask Alfy to take some photos of you as he is more than willing. I read a review on here from a couple of days ago where a fella called Alfy "cheeky" for writing his own review using his phone - I think that is harsh after Alfy welcomed you into his store, allowed you behind the counter, in the back of the shop etc AND took all your photos for you. Alfy is a straight forward, thoughtful fella and I hope his shop continues to thrive for another 28 years! Cheers Alfy for your hospitality.

This is how every local shop should be run! 👍👍 Strange to say his about a shop but the atmosphere is always happy and welcoming due to the banter with Alfy and you can see all the memorabilia from still game there too. He's very happy to show this off, loves it 😜 After you've got yourself sorted out with some beautiful ice cream or maybe a slushie to chill you in the warm weather, that you will definitely want more of. You can sit outside on the grass and wander back anytime as you'll be welcomed with a smile 😁 Everyone should go in for a look around as you'll not find a local shop like this anywhere else.
