Huge selection. Helpful staff. Pretty much everything is stocked here to cater for all age ranges. Prices are comparable to those online. The shelves are neat and tidy and always seem fully stocked. It's worth checking out the bargains on the tables towards the front of the store. The aisles are little narrow but otherwise the layout is clear and fairly easy to navigate. When I needed help the staff were knowledgeable and helpful, showing me the areas for the products I wanted. Parking is only a problem at Christmas. There are even a couple of EV charging points (Instavolt).

Popped in last night with my 3yr old for some stocking fillers. We were able to find a few bits but what made our trip memorable was the offer of free Lego we got at the till. Georgia also engaged really nicely with the little one and she was telling mum about all of the above when she got home. Thank you

Went in on a very busy Saturday in need of assistance with a new born. Spoke with a very helpful woman called Michelle and despite being flat out herself she advised me brilliantly on which car seat worked best. As a clueless new father her service level was first class.

Went here to get a child car seat fitted after doing click and collect online. Pick up was quick and easy. Staff were very helpful with installation, and able to answer my queries. Realised there was a problem with the seat soon after buying, brought back same day and the manager was able to fix it. There were however willing to exchange it for another if that hadn’t worked. All in all pleased with the experience. One thing I would say is that 2 days for C&C pick-up is too short, a longer time frame would be more realistic.

Friendly staff and usually very well stocked. Staff will always find out availability if they don't have an item on your niece's list for santa. Good discount on in store purchases for games, purchase most of my physical copies here now because they beat Amazon and Game on price 9 times out of 10.

I received excellent customer service after a purchase at Gloucester Smyths toy store on 27th April 2018. James, (the manager I think) was extremely helpful. I will definitely go back there for toys for my grandchildren as will my daughter.

Went in to buy a child’s bike today and was served by a very nice young man who couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, so thank you. I am unable to remember his christian name (but he had C P after it.) Very happy with both the service and the prices.

After a really bad trip to the Cheltenham branch due to staff Being rude, we drove even more out of our way to Gloucester and O my gosh the difference between staff is obvious as soon as you walk in the door. The staff are amazing at the Gloucester store James the manager and his team should be really proud of the store and the help they provide. A massive thank you, to you all and to James thank you for giving up your lunch to help us, nothing was to much trouble for any of his team. Again a massive thank you

Went to Smyths today to find a specific car seat we already had in mind - they stocked it (two other shops we tried didn't) and we were assisted by a lady called Marcia who couldn't have been more helpful. So thank you very much Marcia, you're a credit to the store!

If you're after toys this is the place, large Lego selection and I'm pretty sure they do other toys too 😂 Staff are helpful and prices are about the same as elsewhere, but good sales at times.

Really good store that has good offers and nice events now and then. Be careful of the markdowns though, although some are good, most can be found cheaper elsewhere.
