Ordered Trex decking at a very competitive price which was dilivered first thing on agreed date. Customer service was first class as a slight issue was sorted within the day. All round great service 👍

I must say I've been really impressed with NR Burnetts. I haven't ordered from them before and believed that they mainly deal with trade customers. I needed some wood to finish a fencing project, however the yard i had used initially would only deliver for £600 plus orders and would not include the wood i had purchased a few weeks prior which would have been easily over this price. I thought that prices to the public would be really high, but I thought I would give them a try. I spoke with Charlie on the sales counter he gave me a price which I thought was reasonable and then around rang around the other wood yards in Hull to find the price was actually very competitive, in some cases it was at least £3-4 pear board cheaper than elsewhere which is a massive saving when I wanted 40 + 4.8 m boards. The price charlie gave me was also more competitive when I found out that delivery was free and it was next day, most of the other yards I spoke weight charged for delivery and delivery was around 2 to 3 days time. I called Charlie back and ask him if he could beat the initial price he gave me which I was surprised that he was able to do. I went in and paid for the wood and it was delivered this morning first thing. The other reason I was really pleased to deal with NR Burnetts is that both Charlie and the lad that delivered the wood were both friendly and polite, this is not the case at other yards in Hull!. A 5 star service i will definitely be using them again.

Nice to see the new owners have finally cleared the path of the old ignorant self important strutting around has beens, thinking they would always be part of the furniture who worked behind the counters it use to be their way or no way, the new fresh young staff are a pleasant cheerful change, they are very enthusiastic they listen and nothing is to much trouble, excellent staff excellent changes.

Had some MDF cut for a DIY project; cuts were accurate, price was very reasonable, MDF was great quality, much better than b&q's, no bulging when screwed into, no welded-on labels, painted perfectly etc. Sawmill guy even helped me fit the sheet offcuts into my little car. Will be using again in future for definite. Thanks guys!
