Fabulous service, from Lee and Victoria, who really know their stuff. Huge selection of stoves and surrounds to view, in their large showroom, and more importantly great advice. After several months of visiting other stove retailers, Lee quickly suggested stoves which met our particular needs. Additionally, he was confident in supplying and fitting a one piece slate hearth, whereas other retails would only fit in 2 sections. The fitting team worked a solid 10 hour day, on our difficult installation, and it looks brilliant. They were very tidy and polite. We wanted to source the stove and hearth / beam etc, plus it’s installation, from a single supplier. Lee was able to offer this full service and did a great job. He then popped over, a good hours journey, after installation to ensure we were happy, to answer our questions and even offered to give us a lighting demo. The overall price was slightly higher than if separately sourcing all elements, but was so worth it for the complete service and reassurance. Thank you.

Great all-round experience, after 20 years of having an open fire we finally decided to move to a gas fire. Did the usual visited a few showrooms, looked online. Then we went to Carlton House and they were just what we were looking for. Straight talking and sensible people who took us through the options, and the pit falls, and were just very helpful in a non pushy way. The day of fitting went like dream, the two fitters were brilliant they knew what they were doing and just got on with it and kept the dust to a minimum, which is not easy. One of the pit falls we knew about was the digging out of our old fire, we were told it would be loud and it was, very! We've had the fire about a month now and its just great, should have done it years ago. Thank you Carlton House Fireplaces.

Victoria, Lee & Ian have been most helpful had a new fire fitted which is lovely but had problems with the gas pressure into the house. They helped and assisted me with calling Gas Board. Gas Board arrived same day and sorted the pressure problem. Would not have known where to start with explaining the situation but Carlton House helped me all the way so a big thank you. Would highly recommend.

We’ve just had a stove installed by Decorum and would highly recommend. Every stage of the process was excellent. The show room is large and many stoves are on show, allowing you to select the prefect stove for your home. The staff in the showroom were really helpful in giving advice to select the most appropriate stove for our needs. The planning visits was equally superb and very thorough with everything needed for the install planned out very carefully. Fitting was great, the installers worked quickly, were very friendly and left no mess. The level of workmanship on the install is very high. We are absolutely delighted with the end result and would not hesitate to use this company again or recommend to friends - something which we have done several times already. A company which is a real pleasure to deal with.

Just started using a 5kw log burner we bought from Decorum a week or so ago. Throughout the process Lee & Victoria were very helpful and efficient. Choice of options on fires/surrounds etc was clear and explained well in the showroom. The quotation was detailed and transparent. Communication about the install was good, and the 2 man install team worked quickly and tidily. Surprised they managed to install it all in the one day as there was a lot of work including knocking out and enlarging the fireplace opening, but they didn't stop all day. We had a minor snag with the wooden beam fitting but Lee was round the next evening (Friday night at 8pm!) to sort it. Being first time log burner owners we didn't have a supply of logs so when we dropped in the showroom to pay Lee sorted us out with some kindling and couple of bags for our first few fires, all free of charge. All in all a very good experience. Can't understand the weird one star review on google about poor after sales service, Lee & Victoria care about their business and I believe they would sort out any genuine issue a customer raised with them. The fire is great too and we're enjoying it a lot!

I have bought a few stoves over the year from Lee and Victoria at Carlton Fireplaces and this time we had a big renovation to do in our living room and everything to changed to meet new rules and regulation with wood burning stoves. Once again the help given from both Lee and Victoria went above and beyond. We are overwhelmed by the result and now have a room you just want to be in and invite people to see and share the relaxation it gives and only hope we can do this soon when COVID rules relax to do so. The stove and surround work seamlessly in our old house and complements every aspect of it and this is totally down to listening to them and following their advice. I can not recommend Victoria and Lee enough at Carlton Fire places in Yeadon. They know their products inside and out and you will not find a company that bends over backwards to give you what you’re looking for with a guiding hand as much as they do. Victoria and Lee you have created a perfect cost home for us. Thank you.

Excellent company. We had a new limestone fireplace and gas fire designed and fitted by Lee and his team at Decorum. They did an excellent job, and we have been absolutely delighted with everything they have done. We have since used their after-sales service and this has also been excellent. Nothing is too much trouble...they really value their customers. Would wholeheartedly recommend Decorum without hesitation.

I recently had a cassette fire fitted. I love it. The service I received from Decorum from start to finish has been excellent. I received help in choosing a fire which would be in keeping my home. The fitting was carried out in one day and the fitters were respectful of my home and 24 hours later I was able to light the fire. It is wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend the fire I have (barbas) or this company. I also ordered kiln dried logs from Decorum which are better than logs I have received from anywhere else.

We have had a Mendip Churchill Logstore stove fitted by Lee and Victoria. The service and advise has been impeccable from start to finish. The stove is just ideal from heat output to the mesmerising flames it produces. The fitters were really pleasant, clean and professional. I cannot thank Lee and Victoria enough for the superb service they have provided. I had almost decided on replacing my inherited flueless gas fire with like for like when I decided to call into Decorum to see what they had to offer. I showed Lee my existing fire and explained what kind of look I was hoping for. He showed me a pic of a recent installation he had done; I loved it and it was perfect for the style of my home. The fitters, Jonny and Nick, were fantastic with Lee completing it by adding a few bespoke finishing touches. I highly recommend them (they were recommended to me!) if you are looking for an honest, professional and personal service. Thank goodness I didn't get another horrible flueless fire which needs a gaping hole in the wall for ventilation. My home is so much warmer and my new fire is absolutely stunning.

Excellent service... Bought a good quality, Danish made, wood burning stove. Installation team were efficient and tidy - removed old fire place base, cut back, installed new one and plastered in less than a day. The difference I found with Decorum was the time and trouble they took to explain the options (and explain the different systems and their benefits) - and weren't afraid to give their opinion. The showroom is also good; feels more like a big house and quite a few of the fires are burning so you can get a better feeling for the true effect - too many of the other companies we looked at were just empty grates in a plain showroom. Good range of fires, good personal service, quote was reasonable and work done to spec. Why can't more local businesses be this good?
