Drove here after visiting the Leeds store looking for cake decorating items only to find there online stock check was incorrect too. Although online stock takes a while to catch up when items are sold, answering the phone to check actual stock would have saved me a 4 hour round trip. Not the first time we've had to visit multiple shops on one trip to not find what we're looking for so a bit disappointing overall as my partner loves cake making and crafting.

I genuinely find hobbycraft expensive but I had a mermaid 🧜‍♀️ themed party for my 4 Yr old turningb5 and they had gorgeous cellophane bags useas party bags, table cloth, plates, napkins, balloons and whilst there I bought loads of suncatchers fir kids and I to do as a family mindfulness activity. The member of staff helping me was brilliant and we had a lively chat. Well done 👏

I have given this place five stars which for me it means this place is a bit extra . The entrance is flat and level and the doors are wide and open automatically . There is room to manage a wheelchair down every aisle but a little tight in places . I was unsure of the whereabouts of the item I wanted so to save time I asked an assistant in the shop . She knew exactly what I wanted and also where it was to be found . Now it was located upstairs , but there is a lift provided in order to shop upstairs However to save me going up in the lift the lady went and got the item for me and took it to the checkout while I wandered around the store .When I got to the checkout I was shown the product to see if it was suitable before I bought it . Can’t fault the service .

I generally only go if my partners going as they don't hold stock of items I would use in joinery but saying that I have picked up some small paint brushes for use in coach painting. It's a great place to take the kids to see if you can get them started on little hobbies instead of playing games on tablets!

Once the change around of products in now an illogical arrangement has been mastered you find that if your craft is not flavour of th month it has been secreted away in some dark corner of the establishment where a limited stock of you essentials are not in stock. Thanks for the brilliant service! The tills went down today whilst I was there and they could only take cash payments. I went and got cash and came back. Customers were being told in the queue outside that it was cash only but many didn't listen and then kicked off in the store. It was not the fault of the staff who handled the whole situation really well. To the customers in the store - why take it out on the staff who are only trying to do their job? Disgusted by the way customers spoke to the team today but I was so impressed with the way they handled it. Especially well done to the lady outside who took a lot of flack from rude unreasonable customers. Well done ladies you're a brilliant team and a credit to the company. Dont let the minority ruin your day, you're doing a brillaint job x

Great shop with excellent staff. The range of stocked knitting patterns isnt great the choice of good quality wools is fantastic. Also looked at cross stitch kits which could do with a bit of an overhaul. Some dated ones which is probably why they were still on the shelf. Other crafting supplies plentiful and up to date.

I love this store, its my guilty pleasure. Ive taken one point off, just for the inflated prices. Ive found I can buy the same products from a large on line retailer, for a fraction of the price. However, I always find something to buy and there's always an offer to be had. I feel a bit like a kid in a sweet shop when I'm walking round; I definitely get drawn in.

This particular shop has very friendly staff and always happy to help. Only thing I will say is some things can be a little pricey. Always check out the special offers for great bargains.

To be five stars should have a cafe inside with a regular agenda of courses plus a kids area with activities (yes, paid of course, the materials bought in the store )

Really helpful staff and great stock levels, maybe sometimes the staff are a little thin on the ground - but this is hardly their fault. Location is easy to get to but pick your time to visit if you need to park nearby as the car park is relatively small and we often park somewhere else and walk to the store.

Quite a good range for size of store, its a bit on the expensive side but all prices are not correct when you get to the till, I bought some watercolour paint priced at £6.00 reduced to £3.00 however the staff rectified the issue and were helpful. The shop can get quite busy at times. All in all ok.

Though guiseley is a small store, the staff and their knowledge is brilliant. I have started learning to sew using a machine. The lady helping me was brilliant, thoroughly talked me through the types of machines and helped me understand fabric. We often visit for homework, hobbies and decorations and crafting for parties and celebrations. It's a lovely place to visit.

Very well organized shop, clean and bright, many things are pricey so check on line before you buy, they had the chain mail supplies I needed, tools and wire. The service was good, a bag was not offered, and the couple buying a model airplane was questioned for ID because if a paranoid policy to police model airplane cement included with the model. Seriously, kids can buy whippets NO2 canisters with no fuss, the glue is hardly worth the hassle.

Am new to Hobbycraft. The friend that introduced me to the concept of impulsive spending on copious arty items in the hope that they will help you deliver arty products should really be an ex friend. Our spare room is now overflowing with paint, pencils, paper etc, all of which caught my imagination but I have failed spectacularly to produce anything that resembles the images that fill my overactive mind. In short, it's a wonderfully inspiring place.

They don't do prisma pencils or the more popular colouring books and the staff could have been friendlier...they all looked fed up and sorry to be there.
