Went here to do a chocolate workshop. It was fab! There was a really interesting presentation about the history of chocolate, followed by a chocolate tasting and then we got to make our own chocolate bar and truffles. The shop itself has loads of interesting and unique products. The staff were super friendly and really knowledgeable too.

Everything is fine in regards to chocolate and other items. However poor customer service in regards to email responses and messaging hinders the overall customer support. Hopefully this can be improved.

The chocolate-making workshop is so worth the price of admission! Customers get to take so much chocolate home, and the lessons by Jen were very fun and engaging. The chocolate tasting alone is fascinating. And all of their chocolates and hot drinks are so delicious; Cocoa Amore are a very welcome addition to Leicester's city centre for anyone looking for gourmet chocolate

Me and partner did the workshop experience today, hosted by Pete who has an incredible amount of knowledge and experience. Tried chocolate from around the world before making our own to take home. The whole experience lasted 2.5hrs and while your chocolate sets you get treated to a hot chocolate which is delicious. Wonderful experience would highly recommend Thank you

Delicious hot chocolate, best in town for sure! Reasonable prices. TLDR; They serve the hot milk really creamy, with the chocolate pearls aside so you can mix them yourself. It's an increadible experience, very difficult to find a place like this. If you are a chocoholic you shouldn't miss a visit to Cocoa Amore next time you are in Leicester.

Bought my husband and myself the chocolate workshop experience. Was worth every single penny. Keeley was brilliant at explaining the history of chocolate and explaining the origins and makeup of the chocolate for the taste testing, incredibly funny, really enjoyable. Got into a mess making the chocolates and truffles, it was really good fun and they taste amazing! We had a got chocolate and a frappeshake (I think it was called, it was like a milkshake) during the break - the only way to describe them was 'wow'. They are definitely worth a try if you are in Leicester and wanting a warm, cozy environment and a nice drink. The young lad who was serving us made sure we had everything we needed and was really chatty, very, very good at customer service. All staff were excellent from start to finish and the products were 5*. Would highly recommend.

Went on an explorer trip to see the making of chocolate, taste test many and make our own Belgium truffles! So very fun and extremely tasty!. A welcomed adventure on the flavour of chocolates, thank you!

Such a great experience. My husband had this bought him as a birthday gift. It was a very detailed experience of how the company get and use the cocoa beans. Lots of fun had tasting as well as making our own chocolates and truffles. They regularly have in house deals for other chocolate experience and we are going to be looking out for these to try other experiences offered.

Went to a chocolate making workshop here with a friend, and it was brilliant. First off, the gentleman doing the workshop was knowledgeable, personable and friendly. We tried different types of chocolate from around the world - it's amazing how different they taste. Then we made truffles and 16 chocolates, and while they were setting we tried Cocoa Amore's own hot chocolates, which are bars of actual chocolate melted in hot milk - heaven - along with a handmade chocolate from their counter. There was loads of choice of high-quality chocolate, at reasonable prices. This will be a regular stop when I go in town now!

Had a chocolate making experience bought for a Christmas present and went last weekend. Fantastic place with a really informative and fun talk about chocolate and it's origins. The hands on making part of the class was brilliant! Won't say anymore so as to not ruin it for anyone, but highly recommend doing the class.

The best place in Leicester for a chocoholic!! I visited quite a few times over the summer to relax with a hot drink and hand cake while shopping. The hand made cakes and chocolates are exquisite and the gorgeous taste will make you realise all the things wrong with supermarket chocolate. The staff are chocolate experts and extremely accommodating. The owner made 80 hand made chocolates for my wedding with only 24 hours notice at a very reasonable price. The presentation was perfect, and all my guests enjoyed these high quality champagne truffles on arrival to the wedding venue. We will be back for tea and cake when back in Leicester!

Went for the chocolate making experience that was bought for us as a Christmas present. Brilliant time, made some lovely chocolates and learnt a bit about the history of chocolate. We were there for just over 2hrs. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re a chocoholic.

Ok , I am a self confessed chocoholic so what better present to receive than a golden ticket to the chocolate making workshop. We were greeted by friendly staff in the cafe area which is beautifully decorated in warm chocolate tones and cream. There was a selection of mouth wateringly tempting chocolates on display and asked what we complimentary drinks we would like. The workshop is taken upstairs and split into two Half's, the first educational and lots of tastings and then the making. It was really interesting, presented in an informative but light hearted way by staff who revel in the passion of all things chocolate. We were supplied with lots of tastings and sometimes surprised by our preferences and realised how complex the tastes if chocolate really are. Then it was the hands on experience, we made truffles and our own filled box of chocolates which was a great experience. If you have friends that are willing to share try to fill your box with an assortment of the chocolate that you made as it's a pretty big box and variety of flavour filling is I think essential. Whilst we were waiting for our chocolate to cool and the bottoms put in to seal we were treated to a hot chocolate drink, never before have I been served with an experience like this a glass of hot creamy milk and a container of chocolate chips of your preference which when added together and whisked by yourself produced the most magical drink. We then collected our goodies gift wrapped chocolates, 2 bags of truffles and a bag of our extra (incase of mishaps) chocs and the piping bag of filling !!!! We waddled out of the store probably a good 6lb heavier and full of chocolate. An excellent day, would wholeheartedly recommend.

Went on the truffle making workshop, the person who ran it was nice and engaging and informative, but I wouldnt reccommend the class for the price it is. All we did was roll gamache into balls, coat them in milk chocolate and dust them in powder.
