Just adopted these four cuties from here. Staff were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Answered all our questions well and helped us to get them as swiftly as possible.

Needed a bag of junior dog diet that they hadn't had in stock for weeks. A fantastic member of staff ordered for me to be delivered to the store (I don't do online shopping & don't have an email address). Staff member sorted out my order and it arrived a day earlier than anticipated. On collection I had exactly what I needed, very quickly and efficiently. All staff very helpful!

Purchased our first hamster from here. The young ladyl who served us was incredibly helpful and passionate about her small furry friends. We named our little hamster oreo, and she seems to be settling in well. The young lady who served us was very good at advising us how to care for the hamster and the basics they need. All good stuff so far. It's a bit weird going from a dog owner to a hamster owner, but we required something that wouldn't want our attention as much.

Very good system as we needed to order an item to be sent to a different H/A to ours and we had a 30% off voucher to use, a member of staff on the floor took our order for the item to be delivered told us to carry on shopping and when we got to the till give our surname and a colleague would bring up the order and scan items in our basket and then the 30% off would be taken off of the whole purchase. 24 hours later I received an E Mail confirming order and delivery date. Easy transaction no stress.

I visit here frequently, pre and post pandemic, and almost always face a wait when reaching cashier. Sometimes disorganised, but not always. Staff are always friendly however and have always been helped when needed. Not quite 5 stars, but none the less a decent sized pets at home with all you need for your fury friends.

Nice massive place. My son loves visiting this place as he can see rabbits, hamsters and fish. He scared of insects tho lol They have vets upstairs and we took our 3 cats here for check up when we first adopted them. Staff were friendly and the place is very clean. Downstairs also have a pet grooming place which we took our 2 dogs there couple of times a year. They are not cheap but we live nearby.

Understand why short staffed and lack of stock, but not really fair on employees trying to help customers, stock up, check out when there were only 2 staff about when last went. I like Pets at Home because you can bring your dogs in the shop. I also like the pet parking spaces. There is plenty of parking even if you don't take your pet. They have a groomers and vetinary surgery. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing that lets it down is the high prices. If it wasn't for that, I would be a regular customer.

Went into the store today to purchase a new lead for my puppy as her current one is damaged. I spoke to a lovely lady called Jane and she was amazing. She provided great advise on what lead would be best for my puppy and offered to exchange the current lead for me. Great customer service and great social distancing in place. I felt completely safe and the best thing is that my puppy can shop with me

Easy access, good variety of dog food and toys etc. Have not used the groom room or the vets. The staff are friendly especially one gentleman he's customer service to everyone is exceptional, very knowledgeable and happy to help. There is an older lady who can be friendly depending on which day you catch her on., but suppose we all have off days. All in all I visit regularly so would recommend after theykept our pets in food and toys during lockdown.

Staff are always great here. If you’re ever stuck for reptile issues there’s a very knowledgeable and friendly guy who works here who really knows what he’s talking about. Even advised me to put stuff back I didn’t need to buy and got my lizard from not eating to eating with his advice. All the staff are lovely and nothing is too much for them. Half the time I’m not sure if I go to buy lizard bugs or just to see what pets I can make a fuss of that are visiting lol

Visited here today to buy my house cat a new climber. I’d been told they had a discount on selected ones so nipped in. And found the perfect one! The Cortes Cosy Climber ticket price £127 but on offer for £88.90p! Got to the till to be told that it was £127.... explained to the cashier (Andrew) that it had a different sale price on the shelf. He went and looked. Found said discount that was out of date and should have been removed on the 15 June (today is the 21st) he apologised and let me have it at the discount. My cat loves her new perch and hasn’t left it since I got back and put it together and at the price Andrew let me have it at despite the offer being out of date. So do I £38 is a lovely saving and will go towards her food! So thank you! Store is always clean. Staff always happy to help and friendly. Shelves always well stocked. Good sized car park. Best Pets at Home store in Leicester.

Hi so impressed with the service I received tonight for my ageing west highland terrier! Our usual groomer stopped trading and we tried another groomer that didn’t work out, no disrespect to the particular groomer. Our dog is losing his eyesight, relatively elderly according to doggie age! Pets at Home were brilliant, so caring and even managed to trim his nails! Unheard of. He looks a million dollars! Really large store with a massive range of products. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are reasonable, offer membership schemes. The queue at the checkout is sometimes long and doesn't move that quick. The delay is probably down to only a few tills and the staff are very thorough and socialable talking to each customer rather than rushing them out of the store, which isn't really a bad thing. It's in a good location with ample free parking.

Great range of everything for your pet, from food to treats. You can get medicine and treatments for dogs, cats, rodents and reptiles etc. There is a range of aquarium products including live fish to stock your tank. The vet is situated upstairs for convenience. You can adopt rabbits, mice and rats plus buy accessories for keeping them. The staff are very helpful and plentiful when you need them. There is a large car park at the front with priority parking for those who bring their with them to shop.

Picked a hamster, cage and accessories. All well till we got home and opened the accessories pack that came with the cage and realised one piece missing making the cage completley unusable and store was closed. However the assistant was great really friendly and helpful. The hamster is beautiful and appears healthy. All ended well after a mad dash over 7 miles across town in crazy traffic to get to foss Park store who didn't have the cage we had brought in stock. The next cage £15 more and huge, the assistant looked in the back and found the part we needed so all sortedwith 5 minutes to spare.

I used to use this shop all the time but lately more and more items are being sold online instead of in the store, you can order in and its available the next day, the shop is always clean and tidy and the animals are always well looked after. Just wish they sold more reptile and indoor bird things in the store, we go to East Midland pets on Saffron Lane as they stock a massive selection of products at cheaper prices, I do miss the older gentleman that works on the till hes so friendly and always is living the dream. :)

Managed to get my dog in for some advise on a little weeping eye & a tiny saw on his foot, told to carry on wiping his eye as I had been doing as she said she cant see a problem, with ref his paw his proscribed some spray fluid, I was in there less than 10 mins & had a SHOCKING bill of just under £80.00 pounds, I questioned the bill & was told a consultation cost is £38.00 (10 mins) & the spray was £39.00 pounds (Cleansing water) Feel ripped off !!

They found the suture which had caused a massive ulcer.

Handy to be able to take your dogs in, rather than tying them up outside. Very good range of products, but I found it quite expensive. Ideal for bulk buying and there is a vets and groom room there as well, but haven't used these as yet. Found staff few and far between and very young, especially weekends. Their knowledge is below par, but that's down to the management to address. A couple of staff went to find me some items I required, one went one way and other went another and that's the last I saw of them. Most annoying standing there waiting for almost 15 minutes! Found another staff member and sorted very quickly. Plenty of free parking

Need something for your pet. Chances are you can get it here. Plenty of choice so you can normally find what you are looking for and the prices for food is about average. It is nice to wander around and be tempted with another pet. Staff are sometimes helpful and friendly but sometimes not. Depends who you get it seems. Went here on recommendation, WHOOPS... we needed a new harness and lead plus flea powder and worm control for our puppies, we where advised by several staff their not to buy off the shelf products and buy the more expensive £50-£60 worming and fly control (6 in a packet) WOW... iv never paid this much before and iv had several pets over the years.. my bill was just over £150. i took the advise of staff because i presume they have been trained, maybe their training was more geared towards SALES than pet health..... ill stick to the smaller stores next time...

Sergio at fosse park was amazing with our bunny.We went to Beaumont Leys where no one really explained how to feed and medicate our sick bunny adding to the distress.Sergio was very helpful and taught us how to feed and look after our bunny. Sadly he passed away but Sergio was very compassionate when we put him to sleep .
