Best methai out there, my personal faves are gulab jamans and ladoo. Other methai places just can’t do it as good as Ambala!

They have varieties of sweets and nimkos. As located near junction of Hoe Street and Bakers Arm they covers large areas including Walthamstow, Leyton, Whipps Cross and Bakers Arm. Products are excellent, fresh and tasty. Staff are happy to help and advise on any allergy.

Nice place. A tad bit understaffed at times but that's a tough call for a business. They don't do fritters like the Euston branch but their samosas are excellent as anywhere else. I would return.

I often go there to eat SAMOSA'S .... lovely they are , perfectly made . At other places one can feel the smell of oil in SAMOSA'S but not here . Their sweets are good . The place is absolutely clean . If anyone haven't been there then they should go and see all themselves . Thanks

Absolutely amazing customer service, especially when compared to their online ordering. How can one company differ so much? So friendly, helpful and attentive. Pretty much the opposite of the experience with the online ordering, delivery and customer service experience. Can highly recommend this branch especially, staff were amazing. The place is amazing well kept, and absolutely spotless. Most branches are good or very good, so anyone ordering in advance please do so in-store to avoid disappointment. You can even call the store beforehand. Oh and the cakes are good too.

The sweets here are a decent style, however the flavour and quality is coarse and less refined for a connoisseur. Packaging and presentation are great including ready packed tins and boxes of various savouries. Jalebis are very thick and not fine and translucent, sweets with khoya lack good binding and moisture, ready samosas are also dry and the sauce is terrible. The chat on the other hand is refreshing and tasty. Use of dried milk powder, flavouring and colour dyes instead of genuine additives in the preparation unfortunately spoil the taste of these Asian sweets. The shop is clean and well kept, items are presented well. Cleanliness appears to be reasonable and staff were observed using gloves to handle food appropriately. Slow service at times and is popular with the local Pakistani community. Overall a decent sweet shop in keeping with the average quality of sweets in the London area but lacking true Halwai quality and standard.

Place looks like it has good standards of hygiene. Also you can't beat Ambala mithai, I've tried ladoo's from a few different sweet shops and you can't beat the taste.

Only went to pick up a small amount of sweets.... charged at mixed sweets rate which is fair enough. Nothing like the nonsense at Nirala where you are charged a premium when picking your own sweets. Quality of sweets here is still good!
