Great selection of second hand and vintage goodies. The owner is kind-hearted and eager to help customers with anything they need. I'll definitely be coming back here again soon!

Friendly charity shop with a treasure hunt vibe. Reasonable prices and approachable, friendly staff. Good selection of household goods, fun jewellery, clothes and books.

I really enjoyed shopping here. The shop has a variety of good stuff, clothes, toys, utensils etc. I found the staff engaging and helpful.

Joy is an absolute gem! So friendly and approachable, and keeps the shop maintained to a high standard (which no mean feat considering how much stock she must get in per week!). Prices are very reasonable, could not recommend enough :-)

This place is a hidden gem! I am writing to say how much I love this shop- only once have I managed to leave without buying something lovely (at a great price). Ironically it, was on this occasion that I left my beloved and beautiful jacket there...but such is the integrity of the wonderful woman who runs the shop, it was safe and sound when I remembered where had left it. Even though it could easily have been mistaken for a donation and sold (for a good price!)- indeed several people were very keen to buy it- she looked after it for me until it could be collected. I was so grateful..not everyone would have done that! I am saddened to read the unfavourable reviews here because I have been visiting this shop for years now and can honestly say I have only ever had really positive experiences (hence being a regular visitor!). The lovely lady who runs the shop maintains it to a high standard, provides a high standard of customer service, is *always* super polite....and gives great fashion advice as well! :)

I have been going to the wives and widows charity shop for quite a while now, I tend to go during my lunch break as I work just up the road. The thing I particularly like about wives & widows is that they have a really good selection of designer clothes that come in on a regular basis, they have a wide selection of books, electronic items, not so much toys anymore, although toys do come in, I particularly like the layout of the place, everything is in a specific area making life so much easier when your hunting down that elusive gem,.The place is always neat & tidy and the staff are a joy, no pun intended. I would highly recommend you checking out this place plus prices are really good
