c. m.Closed for lockdown but no overdue fees and you can click and collect( personally I don't really know how to do that fir kids stuff but usually choose at random from an excellent children's library

C. A.It is open to the public but less services at the moment. I like this library and the staff are friendly including the security guard. It is not in full operation yet.
K. L.Excellent library, staff are so helpful and everything is well organised and clear. Free ordering service and a loyalty card to earn free DVD and CD rentals. Well stocked with latest DVDs and also a very good graphic novel collection.

E. K.Great local library. The staff couldn't be more helpful; it's clean, light and with a good selection of books, DVDs, CDs, talking books etc. Computers are available for free. This library used to be much bigger, which has meant an unfortunate reduction in the number of books but you can order any title you want and they will get it in for you from one of the other libraries in the borough. Students from the uni opposite and local schoolchildren use this library a lot. My only complaint is that the staff rarely intervene when people misbehave, usually it's people using the computers or, predictably, when local kids of a certain age come in after school. Whether they're talking loudly on their phones, don't use headphones on the PCs, or talk out loud to people online, it's very annoying and disturbs one's concentration to the point that I've seen people leave in disgust. In fact, in the past, I've even seen some arguments escalate into near-fights because of the staff's reluctance to uphold the sacred rule of quiet in the library. Sadly, the days of expecting silence or consideration in a library seem to be over. Best tip: try to avoid between 4-6pm.
