Reviews of Fuller's Brewery Shop & Tours
I. O.
Sue was a fantastic tour guide. We learnt so much about the Griffin brewery, the Fuller's company's history, and even London's history. The beer tasting at the end of the tour was great too, and Sue patiently explained all different types of beer.
N. S.
This is a fantastic tour, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and you get to see fully behind the scenes! You also get a decent amount of time at the end to try a range of their beers, which was a welcome treat 👍✨🍻

GOT TO BE DONE! Fullers London Pride is my favourite pint of British beer so a Brewery Tour was a much appreciated gift to enjoy. Right by The Hogarth Roundabout on the A4, London, it was a fascinating couple of hours at The Griffin Brewery during which I learned so much about the art of brewing and the history of Fuller's Smith and Turner. Our wonderful tour guide, Sue, knew everything and was fun to listen to. The tasting session at the end was a brilliant opportunity to compare all the different beers and ales. The Brewery shop is an Alladins Cave for beer wine and spirits. You can park and load outside the door. FASCINATING, FUN and FIRST CLASS.

Can't believe they can make a pint of beer for 3p. Love the tour. We liked seeing all the old machines and ways they used to make beer.
Shame it's not family owned after 6 generations.
Disappointed to see the pub at the front not open. We forgot about the one further up on the roundabout.

Knowledgeable guide. Very generous samples of the product. Well stocked shop. Always had a good meal in their pubs an hotels. This pub is in Brentford. Very good.

This was one of the best tours I’ve done. Sue was a fantastic & knowledgeable guide, and getting to see the facility on a working day added to the experience. I set aside 2 hours for the tour, but could have easily stayed another half hour. We all stuck around and chatted while tasting in the cellar. I unfortunately didn’t leave myself time to partake in the included pint upstairs. Ensure you’ve had a big meal before the 11am tour so you can enjoy the tastings and pint!
I went on my own on a Tuesday, with 2 other duos on the tour. I imagine it will be very hard to hear guides on weekday tours when group sizes go up. Perhaps guides could wear a mic/speaker of some sort?
R. W.
Excellent tour and in particular excellent tour guide, Dave. Provided detailed information, with an excellent balance between informing and entertaining. Most of an hour at the end to try the different beers. Would highly recommended.

I attended the tour here with a buddy from the US. We both like Fuller's beers especially London Pride and ESB. It as really enjoyable to see how the beers are made and get a tour of the facility. I did not know all the beer (for local and world wide distribution) is made here!
Tour was informative and after you have the chance to taste a few beers in their private taproom.
Of note we booked the tour a few months prior online and this was before covid so not sure how things are now.
If you like beer and want a unique tour of a local brewery with a few super fresh pints after I would recommend this tour. We really enjoyed it.
T. M.
Fantastic tour from John B, get to see the old and new within the brewery and a great tasting session afterwards in the Cask Cellar. Highly recommend!

I loved visiting the brewey, seeing the brewing process and finally go to taste all their products. Excellent tour guide Natalie. Very well worth the tour. Accepts London Pass.

Really good tour, lots of history, great tasting session after and super staff.
Thanks for a great time.
C. G.
Really good tour from Sue, the scientific details from Sue and the scale of the brewery made the tour. Great time tasting less known beers at the end too!
G. G.
It was a great tour - we really enjoyed John as a tour Guide. He gave us a lot of information and a bit of comedy ! 5 stars for the brewery 6 for John ! Btw thanks for the photo ;)

A really great tour showing a fascinating and important part of London's history.
The guide was very informative and she answered all our questions well. She took us through from the hop selection to the brewing process then out to the original courtyard where it is dispatched.
The brewery is an interesting mix of old and new and is steeped in history.
The free beer tasting at the end is a real treat and having the brewing methods explained with each different beer sampled was a great bonus
Let's hope the new Japanese owners leave this well alone. !
I would highly recommend this tour.
T. L.
Fab tour guide dave , very informative loved the tasting afters very friendly and welcoming staff would highly recommend

We've just come out of the Fuller's Brewery Tour and it was spectacular. John, our tour guide, was excellent — he was knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of our questions. I bought this for my dad as a Father's Day present and he really enjoyed it. The tour is very informative and the tasting at the end is totally worth it! Highly recommended.
M. M.
Went on my birthday quite recently with my sister already quite familiar with the fullers range 1845 and champion beer esb and the hsb quickly grown on me and of course the ldn pride my fave range by far that would say amazing shop as well even got bottles that haven't had before most importantly definitely would be coming back again.......
J. S.
Amazing tour with the best guide ever: Symone! Totally recommendable if you want to do something different. 2 hours tour with 30 minutes of beer tasting at the end. The shop is really cool and you get 10% if you went to a tour.
A. K.
Amazing walk within the brewery with amazing range of beers to try...thank you soo much
R. M.

D. B.
Great tour. Well worth a visit. £300 for a bottle of beer 😳
J. M.
Great tour! Lots of fun. And educational.
R. I. J.
Nice place & excellent beer. Plus, This is where Alexander Pope, an 18th-century English poet, had lived almost for 3 years. And ‘Jack Frost’ is the draft beer you can taste only in winter.
J. T.
Had a fun perfectly balanced banter-tour with Dave. Generous tasting and great way to invest a couple of hours. We were invited right into the process. I wpuld recommend the earlier tours to see more of it in action.
v. b.
We went on the tour at Fullers and then into the shops to buy a few bottles you don't see everywhere. You do not need to go on the tour to get into the shop, I highly recommend sticking your nose in if you are in the area.
x.
The brewary tour is really good. Interesting information learned about one of London's best beer producers. Also good sample tasting afterwards
I. E.
Good tour and plenty of tasting at the end. The gift shop was pricey. I knocked a star off as the on-site pub has closed (possibly permanently due to the brewery's takeover by the Japanese brewer Asahi). Lets hope Fullers doesn't suffer from the multinationals take over.
C. J.
I’ve been a commercial brewer for twenty years and this was one of the best tours I’ve been on, daffyd gave a master class. I would consider this a must visit if you came to the UK
R. A.
Great place for a brewery tour and fresh beer! Takeaway available, including draft beer.
L. W.
A brilliant imformative tour sue our tour guide was amazing very engaging
i.
The real deal, and proper "beerfestival" events organised by pros.An occasion to sample many tasty brews.
S. C.
Great brewery tour. John E was a terrific tour guide and the tasting was a fabulous introduction to beers I would never normally try! Loved it.
P. M.
My son arranged a Fullers brewery tour here, which was interesting, and illuminating. The end of the tour was a visit to an underground bar with an opportunity to sample all of the current beers, ciders and lager Fullers produce - lovely!
E. H.
Great occasion to visit brewery tour and taste excellent beer on the spot. Home of ESB
V. S. B.
The tour was amazing, definitely a must go!
J. B.
Fantastic experience from start to finish. Our tour guide Dave was excellent. Very thorough and very informative. Would highly recommend and will definitely come back again.
O. B.
Collin was an excellent, passionate and knowledgeable tour guide! Very knowledgeable about the history of the brewery as well as the process for beer brewing. A very enjoyable experience especially the free bar at the end of the tour. Would recommend this to any beer lover or beer newbie extremely fun experience will definitely be back for another round!
J. F.
Visited here in 2014. Wonderful tour with a knowledgeable guide and an extensive tasting at the end.
m. r.
Loved the tour. The staff were great. And the beer was great as well.
S. S.
Haven't had the pleasure of experiencing the tour yet, but the shop and the fact you can get a fresh pint of London Pride too go sit by the river with is blissful!
s. v.
Dave was excellent great knowledge and great live for great beer
O. B.
I had a great time, Billy was a very good guide and was up for some small talk as well. I definitely recommend going despite Chiswick being a bit off the beaten path for most tourists.
They even had Golden Pride on cask which I understand is very rare nowadays. What a treat!
M. T.
Love Fullers beer. So this place was awesome
d. c.
Excellent tour and great beers
H. C. (.
Brilliant beer. Great staff.
C. *.
I combined my visit to the brewery with a visit to Chiswick House, an easy 10 min walk away. Very nice gardens at Chiswick and the Thames is very narrow there. The Beatles filmed Paperback Writer and Rain videos there. The Gift shop was nice and the pubs attached very pleasant. A good tourist day out away from the fray.
G. F.
Family run brewery in London which has been around since 1845 and makes ale's such as London Pride, Honey Due and ESB.
T. B.
Great tour with very knowledgeable guide. Excellent tasting at the end with several beers I didn't realize they made and no limit on how many you could try. Cask selections were great!
p. h.
Really fun tour, tours guide was great and enjoyed a few drinks at the fuller bar after as well
E. G.
A lot of options about beer and gifts. I just loved it.
M. M. (.
I went to an amazing tour where you can discover and learn how they make your favourite beer. Great experience. And beer, of course.
B. D.
The £20 fee is worth it. Great pub for the start of the tour (where we grabbed an excellent lunch) followed by the tour itself which was really interesting (thanks Lisa). The half hour tasting session at the end was awesome too.
E. F.
Great Birthday tour with Dave, extensive knowledge of Fuller's and Beer in general, would recommend!
S. B.
Long time since I've been here and well worth the trip
Y. C.
One of the best tours I have ever been! I’ve been to many difference breweries but unlike some commercial breweries, here you can see the facilities which are still running and can actually see every detail of the brewing process. Sue, our guide today, is a passionate and lovely lady. She always answers our questions professionally and always interprets the history to interesting stories. The final part - tasting, is even way more stunning than I expected. You can basically taste every kind of beer you can see. There are some beers that I’ve never seem at bars. Sue also told us the differences and recommend what we should try based on our preferences.
The price is totally reasonable and definitely worth it. Will recommend to my friends for sure
M. M.
Great tour and the tour guide really knew his stuff. Beer tasting great fun and great to taste the beers at their very best. Spoilt a bit by the grumpy Kiwi in the shop at the end who obviously wanted to go home!!
D. D. (.
The tour was lovely and very informative, even for the non beer drinker that I am. Everyone on site is clearly passionate and happy for you to be here and Dave was a delightful guide. I definitely recommend you check it out!
N. S.
A great tour, two hours including about an hour of tasting beer fresh from brewing. The route guide knew her stuff the beer was excellent and the brewery had a great mix of modern and traditional side by side.
E. S.
I went with a group of friends on the tour and would highly recommend it to both beer lovers and anyone keen on our industrial heritage. Much of the Victorian brewing equipment has been lovingly preserved and now rests happily alongside modern working equipment. A friendly knowledgeable tour guide and a good long tasting session of fullers superb beers make this tour a must!
E. J.
The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.
I've ordered beer and glasses online from the shop and they arrived promptly and well wrapped. I hardly need mention that it all tasted great.
P.
Ordered 4 packs of bottles beer at 11.50am Thursday and the beer arrived just after 11am next day. The beer is also excellent 👌
K. C.
Good place to visit if you like London Pride or any of Fullers other ales. Very friendly, knowledgeable guide showed us around the inner working of this world famous brewery. I would have given 5 stars if not for the obscene local parking costs.
S. P.
Great tour, nice guide. And a good signature beer (London Pride).
M. L.
Had a great tour with John, who was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Fullers brewery and its excellent selection of ales. Finished the day with a sampling of some of the Fullers favourites and then browsed the well-stocked shop for some extra things to spend money on! Great day.
R. S.
Enjoyed a great tour to day, with Dave as our guide. It was really a great tour, very informative, and entertaining. And a good beer tasting in the end. And thx for the gift on my birthday. Will gladly take the tour again next time we visit London :-)
D. B.
This brewery is amazing! I highly recommend taking the tour with a tasting after. There is so much history and it is great to walk through the working brewery. If you are from the USA like me, be sure to taste the London Pride; it is very different and much better.
N. G.
I love this shop. The selection is great, and they have some really good wines at reasonable prices, along with a wide range of beer of course. Staff are always consistently friendly and helpful.
J. E.
If you like beer and want to know how its made, then this is a great place for an enjoyable afternoon. Plus you get to try the produce (as many times as you like!).
D. R.
We were taken around by Jason yesterday - a fantastic guide, brimming with enthusiasm and love for what he did and who he works for, who showed off the best of the brewery. A brilliant and really interesting tour - would recommend to anyone. Well done Fullers!
A. S.
Having walked or run past this place countless times over the past five years, a visit was certainly long overdue especially as i’m a big fan of Fuller’s pubs and ales. I wasn’t disappointed! Our tour guide Dave was friendly, knowledgeable and made each member of a cosmopolitan group feel welcome. The brewing process itself came as no great revelation to me as I’ve been on various tours like this around the world, but the 170+ years of history and heritage at Fuller’s I found fascinating. Little tip - booking go to the last tour of the day (3pm) seems to permit a longer tasting session at the end! A terrific afternoon out and highly recommended as a slice of both London and brewing history.
T. M.
Brilliant tour. Fascinating how beer is brewed and a great interactive experience.
W. R.
Had to meant to do this for years - living in Putney - and finally roped in some friends. Great tour. Lot's of stairs, but you get right in amongst the full workings of the brewery seeing some of the original equipment, lot's of old copper kit, and around the shiny newer stainless steel workings. Informative, interesting with a great half hour of taste as many beers as you like finish. Highly recommended.
R. H.
I was here in August 2018 with my husband and two friends. We took the tour of the brewery, and we really had a great time. Colin was our guide. He's a fantastic guide, gives good information as well as fun facts. I was the only woman in our group, but I can warmly recommend it. I looked forward to taking the tour, and it was way better than I anticipated. And my anticipation was high! So don't hesitate to book a tour! And don't forget that it ends with the tasting of a variety of beers! Enjoy!!
M. B.
Great tour and beer! Barry & Dave did a great job guiding the tour and provided a great English beer & historical knowledge base for discussion over plentiful sampling following the tour. We greatly enjoyed our visit. Have lunch at their Mawson Arms pub following the tour. Best fish & chips in London! Well worth the visit.
D. D.
I loved the tour. The lady that took the tour was absolutely fantastic. 💯%.
C. B.
Really enjoyed the brewery tour at Fullers. Colin the tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour highly enjoyable. The free bar at the end was a highlight too!
Z. B.
Amazing, informative tour - you learn so much and get to sample the finished products too! What more could you want.
O. P. O.
Nice tour of an running brewery. Knowledgeable guide. Nice beer tasting afterwards and there's a shop with a nice selection of glasses, "gifts" and beers. The guide threw a few punches at the microbrewery business (no quality control, they would sell anything, ect.) and that seemed unnecessary and is uninformed.
L. K.
Very knowledgeable staff
Learnt lots about this history of brewing and the relative merits of different drafts
S. C.
The tour is well worth it. You get to see the on goings of a working brewery with lots of history. But this icing on the cake is the tasting after the tour.
M. S.
Went to the Open Day and was happy with my experience
Pride & Griffen were there giving Dray man trips also a free brewery tour
Due to my condition I could not experience it but was not disappointed
Plenty of things for a family with bouncy castles and face painting
A hot day so a trip to their pub or into the brewery shop was welcome respite from the heat
It's easy to go mad buying items from the shop, I was told by family member to not go overboard but still spent alot
R. B.
Terrific beer even better when the bar gets going to serve drinks in not just takeaway
J. H.
Highly recommended tour led by the excellent Sue. My family are definitely not beer aficionados but we really enjoyed the tour and learnt a lot about beer making and the history of the site (brewery here since 1654). Great tasting and the opportunity of a pie lunch at The Mawston Arms next door! Comfortable shoes essential as there is a lot of walking and steps. Very little street parking but short walk (0.7 mile) from tube.
K. D.
The brewery tour was very interesting, even for someone who, like me, is not a massive beer drinker. It would have been good if the guide had some sort of microphone though, since the surroundings are very noisy. It was great getting the chance to try the beers at the end, though I would have wished for more than just one larger. The highlight of the tour, however, was seeing the massive wisteria outside, which was in full bloom and allegedly the oldest in the country!
W. G.
Fantastic brewery tour! If you think you've seen everything after going to the Guinness Storehouse on a rainy day in Dublin, think again.
Go for a tour here and you'll see the actual brewery, with a knowledgeable tourguide who will explain you anything you'd like to know. I hope Fullers will keep this tour the way it is!
A. W.
Brilliant tour, Sue was extremely knowledgeable and the unlimited beer tasting at the end was right up my street!
B. C.
Interesting Tour well guided Great Beer

Loved it great day out
S. F.
Such an excellent place. Historical, informative, innovative and great beer.
R. H.
Fab day out very good beer and tour
M. D.
Been twice now and still learnt loads the second time! Jane, tour guide, is a fountain of knowledge and puts a healthy slant on beer drinking, need I say more. Beer tasting afterwards is also an eye opener, try the frontier, a largered ale! Once you've completed the tour you'll understand the difference. :-D enjoy
S. S.
The introduction to Honeydew on tap was indeed a delightful experience
A. (.
Really enjoyed the tour experience, will visit again for sure!
W. T.
Fullers beers are now a bit old fashioned given the revolution of small micro breweries,London pride is a tad sweet these days

HGV ADVICE
The guys who work the goods in/out have their work cut out here! Only one truck in and out at a time! Best arrive at your booked time slot or as close to it as you can!
Very limited parking for waiting in and patrolled by Gastapo trained traffic wardens! I thought I was going to get booked for stopping to select reverse to get on to the bay!!! If your in an arctic always enter via Netheravon Road South, and leave the same way!!!
Despite being insanely busy the guys on forklift trucks were a good laugh! A pleasant experience! Toilets are available for drivers and very nice they are too!

(Translated) Do not quite know which of the 3 places applies to the fullers brewery, so the review here comes straight to all 3.
Really nice brewery, really exciting to hear about how their entire production only exists there, and that's where everything is made for the whole world. Nice trip with time to ask a lot of questions, a really nice guide who knew how to bring people in, and always asked if everything was in order and if there was more you wanted to know, seemed initially interested in what you think of the place. The taste part after tours was amazing. Highly recommended.!
(Original)

(Translated) Big fans of London Pride, don't hesitate. Close to London city center by underground, a few minutes on foot to find in the brewery of one of the best English Ales.
The visit is complete, they hide nothing and the tasting that follows is up to their reputation.
Go to the shop, do not forget to take the Vintage Ale of the year, it will make you an unforgettable memory

They take you through the whole story of how the brewery grew and its production processes. at last the best of all is 30 minutes of free bobbin to be able to try all his styles. very good vibes from all the people in the factory. You have to call by phone to reserve a place on the tour
