C. G.Americans note that the currently favorable exchange rate makes the dollar go far here - and they have the most beautiful things that are nearly impossible to find in the States. One nice aspect of shopping at Guinevere is that they don’t really do sales - and as a result things aren’t overpriced in the first place. This encourages shoppers to take their time and to make non-pressured decisions. But items do sell, so don’t lose your heart’s content!
Really a joy to shop here from start to finish - couldn’t recommend it more highly. And a note to millennials who would rather spend on experiences than things - the things from this store will bring you joy every day for years to come - and they aren’t likely to depreciate anytime soon. Try it, you’ll like it. 😃
E. L.Such an amazing store. From the outside you think it could be small, but you enter into a labyrinth of wonder. Everything is presented in such a unique way, and as well as some beautiful high end products there are some more affordable gifts also. I left with a present for myself (always nice) of a set of antique napkins with my initials and a divine smelling candle (apparently a top secret recipe!). I would highly recommend anyone to go to this London landmark. The staff were also exceptional and very welcoming, and didn't make me feel uncomfortable as some other stores of this ilk can do. Will definitely be going again.
