Essex Road wasn’t always full of trendy young hipsters. If you moved into the area since gentrification you might find this carpet shop looks a little rough around the edges. But this store has been here since I was a kid and if you love the area so much, support this local business please. Steve came and measured up my two rooms and arranged for the new flooring to be installed at my convenience. He gave me a good price and provided a good quality laminate. Communication was good. Also, this isn’t the first time I’ve used Islington carpets. They floored my kitchen and bathroom a few years back and before that, carpeted the rooms that they have now laminated. I throughly recommend this shop.
