Reviews of National Gallery Shop
Huge range of presents 🎁 and gorgeous Xmas decorations 🎄
A must see in London, the entrance is free (not common in Europe), nice shop for visitors and the price is fair. It has two options to eat inside, both overpriced and the selection is not the best
Free entry and closes at 6pm. Definitely a place to visit at least once if you're in London
Sadly cannot visit until restrictions lifted.
its a really good place to spend time. the collections are awesome
Great place but I wish the bookstore was bigger
Thomas Morflew - Art is always worth a look how right you are! We're going in June 2011.
Wonderful shop full of desirable gifts.
A bit too safe and predictable. There are aspects of this place that do seem to be stuck in a parallel era.
Love to spend my time here... Wonderfull place
"The" place to visit when in London
Specialist art books plus prints, postcards and art materials in gallery's 3 on-site gift stores.
Really enjoy the collection of Turners and Rubbens.

Good pic
Gallery available here
Nice architecture
Good place
The store is spacious and comfortable. There are many goods related to art pieces, so it's hard to choose. There are also many apparel and daily necessities, so it's nice to be able to use them as practical items on a daily basis. The store is located near the entrance. The National Gallery is a popular tourist spot, so there are also pickpockets who follow you and observe where you put your wallet. When I finished shopping and went outside, someone tried to open the zipper of my bag on a side street. It only took less than a minute. Be careful when you go outside the gallery after shopping.
(Translated) The National Gallery has one of the best and most complete collections of paintings in Western Europe, as it has more than 3,200 pieces in its permanent exhibition.
Most of these works depict artists from the late medieval and Renaissance periods to the French Impressionists. Some of the most important are Venus and Mars (Botticelli), Bacchus and Ariadne (Titian), The disciples of Emmaus (Caravaggio) or The pond of the water lilies (Monet). There are also paintings by Cézanne, Rafael, Miguel Ángel or Rembrandt among many others.

A great gallery worth exploring
When in Central London, a stop at the free entry National Gallery is a must. Always try to see one some of the "moment" expositions and as quick stroll at one of the wings. You can spend days to see it all. Today I also paid a visit at their shop. Quality prints that make that special gift.
Perhaps a reproduction of some work was missing, such as Dali's telephone.
Surprisingly cheap prices.
Museum shop
The National Gallery Shop, as would be expected, is beautifully laid out. There is a huge variety of art related merchandise on offer. There's everything from postcards to Christmas baubles to journals and a small selection of art supplies. The major offering is a fantastic variety of art related books. One can find simple children's books, artist biographies, art technique books, art history, colouring books and much much more. The only reason for deducting one star is, as might be expected, some of the prices are rather inflated.
After such an inspiring walk around the galleries you can't help but feel a little let down by the blandness of the shop. Lots of tacky things where we should be letting people take home quality replications of many of the works in order to keep the conversation going about these amazing paintings.
Amazing collection of works. So many works you see from art history books are here. Definitely need to spend a few days to truly appreciate all the works.
Highly recommend the audio guide and do the highlight tour if you only have a few hours.
Gone are the days, when we used to go out for gifts. However, trusting any random online store is not possible. This is one of the best stores I have ever seen. I got all the things at my doorstep.
I like to pop in and just see a couple of the rooms occasionally - one of the great things about so many of London's museums being free is that you can do this without that nagging sense that you have to hang around for hours to get your money's worth. I particularly like the Manet pieces here.
I wanted a calendar and I bought one in the sale! The website was quick and easy to navigate.
A great place to find a gift for any art lover. I love this shop because it is always full of people (and that's just the postcards)
