Lovely shop and being a cheese lover I wanted to delve into more finer cheeses. Lady was initially helpful and let me to try different cheeses. Asked for a small block which she did but I thought it looked more. So for the second cheese she abruptly cut me a little piece and I felt awkward and had to ask for more. Whether you’re after real Colston Bassett Stilton, Gorwydd Caerphilly, goat’s cheese or anything else then this is the place. The waft of cheese hits you as you walk in the door. It’s a pleasure to window shop, or even better buy a wedge or several of cheese to enjoy at leisure. A recommended must when in London.

Great selection of cheeses from across the British isles and a chance to taste everything before you buy. Very friendly, unpretentious and knowledgeable staff. Don't expect Cathedral City prices though as their cheeses are mostly small batch, artisanal ones and thus at the higher end of the price scale.

Best cheese shop in the world. The mecca of British cheese. This is where the whole Neal's Yard story started and also where his wife started Monmouth Coffee at the same time (this coffee shop is on Monmouth Street and well worth a visit too). The cheese selection is always incredible. However compitent you think your cheese knowledge is make sure you get your cheesemonger to taste you through the whole counter as there is huge amounts of seasonal variation to their selection. You might come in thinking you know what you want but be pleasantly surprised you find something better. Everything they sell has been lovingly made in farms up and down the country by people who have dedicated their lives to making some of the best cheeses in the world. Have no doubt how infleuntial this shop has been for British food.

Cheese, cheese, this place is all about cheese and they know their stuff. I was really looking for some quality Camembert and this place seemed like a heaven to me then. The lady that helped me with my purchase was really friendly and welcoming. She really left a good impression on me and I will only buy cheese from here in the future since their prices aren't that high. Beware that they have lots of cheese so if you feel a bit lost it's best you call one of the friendly staff members for help.

Not the cheapest cheese available but the quality and experience are worth the price. Could involve a bit of a wait if at the Borough location at peak times, but a sample or two served while walking in helps out.

Fantastic cheese shop that doesn't fall foul of "tourist tastic" by being so near to Borough market. Helpful staff, generous trial tasting and no pressure to buy although you probably will. Great news for all Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs and South Cheshire ex-pats living in London, genuine Staffordshire oatcakes can be found in this shop!

There is a vast amount of cheese available here and plenty of knowledge on offer from the staff. Check out the shower humidifier at the back of the store. It runs into a barrel all day to keep the cheeses in tip top condition.

Hooray for cheese, specifically English cheese. The moment you walk into Neal's Yard the lovely staff force various cheeses on you, some of them lovely, some a bit ripe. You then make a decision on which of those cheeses you'd like to purchase and walk home laden with cheesy goodness. I heartily recommend the Stichelton which is lovely with a water biscuit and a bit of chilli jam.
