I was delighted to discover this book shop (and much more) around the corner. Shalimar specialises in English translations of many genres of South Asian writing, along with beautiful handmade ornaments, artwork, coasters, blankets and much besides. The owners are friendly and helpful! I’m looking forward to reading more South Asian fiction from here, and it’s perfect for decorative gifts and things for round the house

One of the most remarkable shops I have been yet. The old owner greeted me. He was not in to the talks and kept atmosphere calm and peaceful. Great place to find Indian and Asian hand-craft or literature.
