The St Vincent de Paul Society (England & Wales) is part of an international Christian voluntary network dedicated to tackling poverty in all its forms by providing practical assistance to people in need. I like their store, what I visited today. You can find lots of the things (… as you can see in my pictures) even just regarding your needs, or even you are a collector or you want to give something special for your loved ones especially in this time. … so missing a present? Not a problem at all. Just come and look around. I am sure you leave the store with full hand (… I mean full bag 😉)

Best charity shop around for home wears, they have furniture, bric & brac and more! Clothing is usually hit and miss, but when I was in last week they had a lot of high street BNWT donations so great place to get a bargain!

Lovely charity shop and friendly staff. This place is a gem for books. Books are £1 each!!! An absolute bargain finder. I was there last week and I found some classic English and American literature of books I’ve always wanted to read. They have all sorts of other bits here from furniture, clothes to a lot of random stuff. If you like to browse at different things, I reckon you’ll really like this place. Also compared to other charity shops, it isn’t over crowded with stock so it’s very easy and pleasant to browse and gives the overall shop a nice experience. Plenty of vintage finds and also a lot of new things that are newly boxed from their donations such as ink cartridges for printers etc. Happy to donate and shop here, all going to a good cause.

What a wonderful shop and service! I come in regularly and every time I go, I get greeted with a smile and a ‘How are you?’ The shop is well organised, good quality garments and just a fabulous atmosphere over all. Ive got to know Stuart over time by popping in regularly and all I can say is wonderful. His always trying to help me find the best garments and his mannequins in the window is always top. Love this shop and love the people working there.

Nice shop with friendly staff. Items used to be reasonably priced, but of late eBay tends to be the yardstick of what items might be worth. So as a consequence some items have become out of price range for some customers.Seems to be to be the nicer stuff for the new hipster types, and the pound rail for have nots.

Lots of cheap books, furniture and kids clothes. Will take my kids in there next time I visit. I adore charity shops and this is another good one. Not quite as big and wonderful as Oxfam but still excellent.
