I couldn’t recommend The Shutter Shop more! From the free design visit to the date of installation, the communication is top-notch. Very responsive and helpful staff. The installation team repaired some of my existing old shutters with no extra charge, as well. Delivery and fitting of the shutters was on schedule, which is very rare in the past year, given the pandemic and supply chain issue. The quality of the shutters is very high. I’m so pleased with the results!

Could not be happier with the service from The Shutter Shop Ltd. from start to finish! The customer service was great, they responded quickly to emails and were very accommodating to our availability for the fitting. We have had a lot of work done on the property over the last year and I can honestly say this was the most pain-free experience we have had. The fitters were so polite, friendly and respectful - they even bought their own hoover and cleaned up after the installation! I was really impressed with the service The Shutter Shop provided. We arranged a few quotes and not only were the Shutter Shop the cheapest but they were also the most knowledgeable and professional. The sales rep who came to measure for the quote was outstanding and he pointed out various features with our windows which helped us to make more informed decisions on how to split and open the shutters to get the most use of out of them. The waiting time was a little long (14 weeks) between confirming the quote and installation but the shutters are custom made in China so shipping takes up most of the time. We have purchased shutters from Hillary's in our previous property and we had a similar lead time so I think lead times will be comparable no matter who you decide to go with. Overall, I would recommend the Shutter Shop over other competitors and found the quality of their products and services to be outstanding from initial quote through to installation and day to day use. We chose the Shutter Shop from the endless sea of competitors after quite a thorough research: the ratio of quality and price seemed perfect to us, also the personal service we received was just outstanding. All the team members, including marketing and installation managers, Georgina and Julie, as well as installation specialists, Darren and Rex, were highly professional, helpful, kind, patient and prompt with clear answers to all our (often silly) questions. The specifications for shutters we finally chose are the following (if someone is wondering how it might look on their own windows): - Fiji (Premium hardwood – Pearlwood) - Full Height with split louvers (hidden tilt rod) - Louver size: 76mm - Colour: Pure White and White Hinges - Frame: Z-type (it is a three-sided frame that allows your shutters to stay fully opened and leaves the windowsill conveniently clear). Before going with a “live” shop we considered a few big online shutter providers, so you could measure and even install shutters by yourself as apparently, it should be cheaper. Not only we discovered that the promised price difference is either non-existent or not significant, but we had so many hesitations and concerns during the whole process it is just dreadful to think how stressful it would have been if we decided to plunge into that “adventure" ourselves (NOT WORTH IT). Anyways, our new shiny shutters are beautiful indeed, they definitely made our living room look more attractive and enhanced its privacy too (now we can start with adding furniture and working on the overall design of the room, being confident that we have proper windows treatment). When we decide to install shutters in the other rooms, we will come back to the Shutter Shop without hesitation.

I adore my shutters. From the consultation to the installation, the whole process worked like a well oiled machine. The shutters are of good quality and they arrived earlier than expected. The staff are very helpful and kept me updated throughout. I have to give a special mention to Tom who installed my shutters. He was friendly, efficient and very tidy to the point of vacuuming my frontroom to leave it as spotless as he found it. I highly recommend The Shutter Shop and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Excellent experience.
