Excellent customer service, very friendly communication via email regarding my order, and my parcel arrived today (Saturday) when I wasn't expecting it 'til after the weekend so I'm very happy. The shop carries a really nice range of yarn, with lots of all wool yarns a feature. Thoroughly recommended.

You can expect a warm welcome at this lovely shop. It has a really good range of beautiful yarn, about which the proprietor is knowledgeable and quietly passionate. She also keeps a stock of needles and crochet hooks, as well as books and patterns. It's the perfect place to go to buy gifts for the knitter in your life.

Wonderful shop with a large and inspiring collection of yarn and tools to choose from. While I was visiting, the owner was super helpful and encouraging, even going so far as to assist some customers with their knitting projects, help create special gifts for loved ones and offer invaluable advice. The best yarn shop I've ever been to (and I've been to many). The stock is carefully selected with an eye to beauty, sustainability and local talent. The proprietor, the fabulous Anna, makes a warm, welcoming home from home (there is a seemingly bottomless teapot) and is a fount of wisdom and advice for whom nothing, it seems, is too much trouble. And if she doesn't know the answer to your question she will undoubtedly know someone else who does. But most wonderful of all is the community she's part of, not just knitters such as myself but creators - of patterns, yarns, accessories, dyers, teachers and more. An inspiring example of passion in action enabling community, creativity, sharing and caring.

What a pleasant shop! It’s neat and tidy, so you don’t get so overwhelmed with too much yarn - but not to be concerned, Anna has plenty of stock hidden away for big projects! She was incredibly helpful - not only with yarn, she even helped this wet and cold Texan get back to Covent Gardens on Bus 38.

I went along for some advice about wool, as I had run out and needed to match the wool to finish a project. The lady was so incredibly helpful. Very knowledgable and kind, especially when I explained I was a beginner! Lots of lovely wool, probably on the pricey side, but also modern, chic patterns, and helpful books. What a wonderful yarn shop! Of all the yarn shops I visited in London, this was my absolute favourite. I was looking for British wools, and they have a fabulous selection. Also a fabulous atmosphere that was so warm and welcoming!

As soon as you step inside the shop you feel welcome and at ease. The choice of yarn is amazing; from independent yarn dyers like Travel Knitter and Wool Kirhcen to more commercial names like Debbie Bliss, Erika Knight and Rico. The owner, Anna, is very sweet ans helpful. She also design really cool and original gadgets for the knitters and the crochters. Anna is a true artist. Just have a look at her window displays. Always a joy to see when I pass by the shop by bus or by bike.

Wild and Woolly is a jolly shop, full of colour, yarn, books and all the things you need to go with them, including needles, kits, notions and a very welcoming shop owner. I've been a loyal customer since the spring, and there are workshops, talks and a monthly knit night to go to. There are great standard wools such as Rico and Debbie Bliss, but what makes W&W really special is all the other ranges it has (from lace to super-chunky) -- wool dyed by local artists and independent dyers, and all kinds of British breeds as well as the lovely Lopi and Navia. This is a super, helpful, inspiring shop, on a street with plenty of other interesting places.

I have only been to one of the knitty lock-ins here but had a really fun evening surrounded by like minded people, but of wine and nibbles and a good excuse to get on with my languishing attempt at a shawl. I will return to browse the shop when it is less crowded as there are many amazing wools to see, patterns, knitting ideas and examples of items to make. I highly recommend the knitty lock in but don’t want to encourage too many people to come along as it was full the last time I went. My advice- get there early!
