We had my daughters 6th birthday in this store this morning - the children absolutely loved it! Becca was fantastic with the girls (5 very loud girls!) and handled it like a pro!

Fantastic customer service from this store. Took our youngest daughter in for her birthday with a few friends and it was the staff who made the difference with giving her a special and memorable afternoon. Thanks especially to Becca who made a real effort with all the children. Brilliant experience.

It was fun, attentive; really interesting for my child. A lot focus was placed on her bear/games and making the whole experience magic! Super enjoyable and really would recommend it. The staff are really well trained but clearly perfect for the store with such outgoing personalities!

Popped in Build a Bear - Maidstone today and would like to say how helpful Kayleigh was to us. We were greeted by her cheery smile followed by advice about the various bear options and offers available to us. We will definitely return - other staff were very happy, cheerful and welcoming.

Me and me Julie came in to get a orange glow up bear, and a staff member called George showed great enthusiasm and was very polite towards us and everyone in the store, but overall lovely environment and you can easily stay in there ages :)

We took our twin sons for the first time to this store and they were amazed. The staff were extremely friendly and made their experience there even more enjoyable. Once they picked their teddies we then queued to stuff them. There was a bit of a queue but what do you expect when it's near Christmas. Unfortunately there was an impatient mother complaining loudly but the staff were lovely and interacted with the children to keep them occupied and one of the staff members came along to help out and get the line moving quicker. The boys were allowed to stand on the pedal and stuff their teddies. They were fascinated by the machine and to top it off they could put a little heart in their toys to bring them to life. There was plenty of clothing and accessories to offer for the Bears so they chose a small item each. The items can be quite expensive so be prepared to spend quite a bit! All in all it was a wonderful experience and my twins now can't wait to go back......once we can afford it 😁

Lovely day spent buying a build a bear for my beautiful dog who is currently recovering from cancer! The staff were all amazing and welcoming! Had lots of fun making a teddy and was great to see my boy so happy after such a tough year! The staff member I had was George and I cannot fault him for his service towards me and my dog ❤️ will definitely be coming again 😊

Had a fantastic experience with my partner, daughter and her aunt and uncle. We brought Kiki the bear home today in her little cardboard home. The staff were great, but the real experience was two blokes choosing the outfit for a one year olds bear. Though the bear stuffing does look a little intrusive, she seemed ok afterwards with a cuddle at the cuddle station. Naming Kiki came naturally, as soon as we laid our eyes on her we knew she was a Kiki, she just looked like one. Overall we loved it, all of us.

Bit pricey but the kids love it. Got my son a build a bear for his birthday. Cost more than I was expecting. He got a scent, a noise, an outfit and a bag for £50. You can get a lot cheaper tho. They usually have an offer of 2 for £28

Absolutely fantastic! Especially with covid. Being able to maintain the magic of a build a bear even without the busy nature of build a bear. The staff are always extremely polite and welcoming with chirpy personalities. It's hard to be sad here to be honest. And bears stuffed for little ones perfectly by Emma! Worth every single penny and second spent

Went in as a single man looking to buy a teddy bear and unsurprisingly felt a little bit awkward to start with. However, the member of staff was so friendly and enthusiastic that the whole process was actually pretty fun and I didn't feel like a weirdo nearly as much as I perhaps should have. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the products and clearly loved her job which made such a difference and she managed to sell me just about every extra going without it feeling like she was pushing me to spend more. If all retail shopping was like this, the high street would be safe.

My two little granddaughter'so were so excited to be in 'build a bear '. But maybe my expectations were to high, I had visited the Brighton store to find out what BAB was all about, & I loved the enthusiasm of the staff. So I thought we would go to Maidstone as it is not such a busy town. We arrived early, & unfortunately I felt it was such a rushed experience for a five year old. It would have been lovely if the lady that served us tried to engage more with the smaller children. Rant over, one happy little girl . . .proud owner of a gorgeous Build a Bear !

Took my granddaughter & ended up making a Christmas rabbit & also a large doll bear & then all the heart's & songs & even a little gel pad that smells amazing to pick from a variety of too & then the clothes , great hour spent to see the look on my granddaughter's face , well worth the money
