D. 7.I highly recommend the build a bear experience they offer. We bought this for our daughter and she loved it. You buy a voucher and the recipient also gets a lanyard and an apron so they can get immersed in the experience. A dedicated member of staff will guide and help them to go through the whole process. My little girl loved being part of the build-a-bear team, even helping sweep the loose filling on the floor, replenishing the filling fluff….. and filling her own bear.
Fran was really attentive and engaging. It was a great 1 to 1 experience for my daughter and the final cost of accessories and spare outfit came in at the cost of the voucher with no extra payment needed. Although this will depend on the bear chosen. Highly recommended.
A. J.Visited today. Had a great time until some absolute disgusting person came in to the shop, which was obviously full of children and their parents/guardians, and decided to start to shout whatever at the top of his voice and expose himself. Luckily enough one of the dad's escorted! him out of the shop while an employee and myself looked after the dads child who was deeply distressed. Well done to the all girl staff who were all so very young themselves, for remaining calm and went and sought out security.

B. W.A wonderful happy place. For both children and grown up children alike. Went there today for a gift for my fiance and as always it put a smile on my face. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a gift for someone or simply have a Teddy bear obsession. 😀

W.Really really lovely service, I barely said 2 words to the girls while I was there out of embarrassment of being a fella buying a teddy bear but they never faltered in their cheery kind attitude and made me feel very comfortable the entire time, and I got a very cute little nice-smelling Umbreon for the girlfriend out of it too! Will definitely be coming here again next time I’m in need of a teddy bear haha
D.Customer Service was great, I love the bear, however please stop pestering us about if we want clothes or accessories after we've said no 4 times 😭
S. R.ABSOLUTELY. RECOMMENDED. Amazing staff, and amazing environment. One of the best places to take a partner or a child for an absolutely lovely and warm experience every time. Staff are beyond commited to their work and always have a lovely conversation and are always willing to help. Little tip, always pick up the £10 voucher for £5 after you purchase something, it'll come in handy one day, I promise :D
B. J.I took my 7 year old autistic son today to build his first bear and the staff were fantastic. They offered to lower the music and keep things calm and quiet for him if he needed, they talked to him so nicely and made sure he felt included in all decisions like naming his bear. He was not rushed and was given as much time as he wanted to look at things and decide things and it was a lovely experience.

Good for children make sure you stick with the budget . And check the stitched up of the vear, because the 1st day 1 our bear stitches has come apart. Lucky that my child is 5 year.

My son was allowed to press the pedal to fill the bear. I loved the explanation about the bears heart (rub on your head so it's brainy like you, rub on nose so it's nosey etc) such a lovely touch. My son brought into it all. He really loved it. Penny (arndale centre) filled our bear and she was brilliant with my son. A really pleasant experience. The bear itself is great quality. You pay for a good product and a great experience.

B.My daughter had her 4th Birthday party here today and I have to say it was truly amazing all of her 7 friends had the best time of their lives making a bear choosing an outfit, playing games the hostess of build a bear made my daughters birthday magical one her and her friends will remember for a long time to come, it’s certainly worth the money for children to go home with a party bag made by myself and a bear something for them to remember also !! It’s not your typical party that’s for sure, I highly recommend build a bear for parties 🎉 🥳 🎈

T.The Teddy bears here are very overpriced if not in offer as are the clothes but it is a fun exercise for younger children as they get to help make the bear and keep it afterwards. Would recommend for younger children but not just to get a teddy bear, go to pound land or somewhere like that.

E. A.Very good but pricing very misleading. Total cost of a bear should be displayed prominently. A huge shock when you get to the till. If you have a child with you you cant say no and have to pay up.
E. H.There are a lovely selection of teddies in this store, however some were very pricey (starting at £24 BEFORE you'd even added any extras to it). We went on a Thursday morning to buy my sister a bear for her birthday, from the minute we walked in the staff were trying to sell us extras or make us spend more money, even using guilt by saying the proceeds went to charity. We stuffed the bear, but not before the lady asked us if we wanted to put a sound in for £3.50, a smell in for £4.50 and a beating heart, also £4.50. We declined, but then were told we MUST buy some outfits for the teddy. When we got to the till we were asked if we wanted the teddy in a box or in a backpack. The backpacks were obviously not going to be free, however they had no prices on and the lady behind the till didn't tell us how much they were - meaning it would of been a surprise when I went to pay, if I had chosen one. It's a good experience for any child and I do enjoy it, however it is also an uncomfortable experience when you are constantly being prodded to spend more money.

B. P.Took our seven year old grand daughter for a birthday treat. She enjoyed helping to create the jigglypuff she had selected, and the young lady was fabulous: interacting with children and adults easily. The kids adored both the store and staff, and the entire experience far surpassed expectations.
c. b.Forget the expense and treat your kids. It will create some of the happiest memories ever .... my daughter still talks about it now and is 18 lol and she still has the bear! I don't think my son or daughter have ever had bigger smiles then when i took them here all those years ago.
