The initial quote was prompt and responsive, Liam was good to deal with. It's about 20% more pricy than the other ones I had. So expectation was high. The stairs was good as promised, the landing flooring though lacked the "professional" finish look, more like a DIY look, the unnecessarily use of beading rather than tugging the floor board to the skirting boards was a very bad finishing touch. Just made the whole thing look tacky. It was explained that it's due to the requirement to keep the cost low, but the ask was to keep the cost as low as they can but maintaining quality finishing. With over £2000 for the job, I doubt removing the skirting board and fitting one back in would cost more than £150. It was a bad communication unfortunately as we werent informed with that option at all. What could have been a 5* review fell short with regrets.

I cannot fault anything The Happy Flooring company have done for us- everything from ordering, to delivery, to fitting was done with the best communication and customer service. Always quick to get back to us and solve any questions we had. And the fitter was the best tradesman we’ve ever had in- so considerate and professional, cleaned up after himself every evening and fitted our wooden floor with such skill. The floor is absolutely beautiful and we love it, so thank you Vas, Hollie and Liam

Absolutely faultless. The flooring is GORGEOUS!! Chris was our fitter and he couldn’t of done a better job - it’s the first thing people notice and comment on. He is someone who knows their trade and Hollie was exceptional; as someone who has never ordered flooring before, she led me into the right direction and when we had an issue with the delivery - it was dealt with extremely well and we were kept informed about any changes that were made. I couldn’t recommend this company enough - a massive thank you!

Fantastic service from start to finish. It's rare to find this in this sort of business! The company are so responsive and can tailor your needs into their process. Operations manager Hollie has been an amazing source of communication for me and helped with all questions I had, and Steve and the guys who came to for the flooring were chatty, professional and extremely helpful in helping me move furniture, to giving me advice with the flooring. Will definitely use again in future.
