Thoroughly enjoyed listening to the commentary in the glass-making/ blowing centre. Gordon made it so interesting and really sounded as though he enjoyed what he does. I liked it so much, I went in twice!

It was a nice experience to see the live glass making in the factory. Good place to grab some beautiful glassware and souvenirs. It was all free to visit.

Some lovely glass artworks, all handmade in the shop. The glass making workshop was also fantastic, enjoyable experience for all ages.

Great place with wonderful examples of hand blown glass. They have a demonstration area where they show you how they create the glass vases

We visited Alum Bay and popped along to the glass shop, we didn’t expect to see the glass blowing demonstrators making the glass. But they were there, and it was so amazing... I could have watched for hours it kept my teens attention. This was all free. We throughly enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend a visit. I treated myself to a gorgeous vase. There’s so much to choose from.

Whilst visiting this park, it was an honour to see how interestingly created the glass is with the demonstration of glass engineering and then when i moved into the shop I was really amazed and impressed of the quality of the glasses. They had great colours mixed and presented and I had to buy a couple of the glass in the selection. Would be great is-if the glass shop/factory could be extended so there can be more things made in the future and give visitors more of a demonstration.

An absolute delight to se proper traditional tradesmen keeping the old ways alive, i loved it and spent almost an hour watching these craftsmen with complete joy. This is a place u must visit for sure when u can on the isle of Wight.
Loved it.

It is indeed hard to imagine what to expect besides some great natural beauty, on this part of Isle of Wight, least of all, a glass making shop! Welcome to Alum bay glass shop and don't leave here without picking your favourite glass beauty piece. There is also a viewing gallery for visitors to pop in and watch all the action. Reminded me of a wonderful glass-making short film by Bert Hanstraa;)

Amazing to watch the demonstration of how glass items are actually made and how colour is added , to them a true skill. The shop as well is very good and in my opinion very well priced

Interesting display of how the glass products are made, next door is a shop selling beautiful products the only reason for the loss of stars is some staff were rude

They show you how they make glass items. Unfortunately they don't let you go in with a dog, so I couldn't go and watch.
