Robin is wonderful to deal with and all of my purchases arrived much faster that I thought they would, and in perfect condition. If you have any hesitation, don’t. A. T.15th to 19th century artifacts, mainly oak furniture, but also decorative items, oddities, etc.
If you have an old house that would benefit from being sympathetically furnished, or if you collect such things, then this is the place for you. However, it wasn't for me - while I can appreciate that age and rarity bring value, this stuff always seems more expensive than I would expect.
The beautiful and large old mill that this establishment is located in gave the impression that there's going to be a lot to see, however when I visited only a single very densely arranged floor was open (work was being done to those above).
It was worth a look I suppose - the parking was free!👌🏻

The owner was very helpful, and we came away with a stunning 17th century oak armchair. We’ll be back very soon.

Robin is always most helpful with his knowledge and expertise and his antiques are always fairly and reasonably priced. Antique shops of this quality are few and far between.

The two lovely antique pieces are received: The fine and rare early 17th Century English child's coffer and the mid 17th Century cupboard originating from the English-Welsh borders. They were carefully packed for safe delivery and I was pleased when I opened both shipments. The coffer and cupboard look fabulous in my cottage. They are going beautifully together with the wonderful patina and decorations and have real character and soul - a touch of robustness as well as fragility. I love the simplicity of them and what they represent. So I am very happy with both pieces.
I have had a completely positive experience with you from the start to the end. The welcome I received after my enquiry was one of the best I have ever known. You were very helpful giving all information needed. After payment, you had kept me updated with every step of the shipping.
