We were in the market for 5 frames for various sized artwork and couldn't be happier choosing Custom Frames to build them. Having never purchased professional picture frames before we weren't sure what to expect. However, the extremely friendly staff made selecting the frames an easy and enjoyable experience. They had great knowledge and provided recommendations about the style that would not only look the best, but be the most cost-effective. The frames were very promptly made (in just over a week) and the quality is outstanding. We highly recommend Custom Frames and look forward to using them for new artwork in the future!

They are great and really take care. I recently asked if they would undo a textile piece I had framed as a stray piece of thread had fell. This was no fault of theirs and i would have been happy to pay them for their time. They sorted it for me and didnt charge me. A great personal service.

Like you, I read through some of the reviews trying to find a quality framer that was local to me and decided to try Custom Frames and I'm so glad I did as the service I received was superb. Alan and the team were really helpful framing two prints that I brought into the shop. I wanted the frames to match an existing frame that I already had but it was discontinued so the team mixed and matched colours and materials and did a fantastic job which saved me money as well. Dean took a lot of trouble to ensure my prints were perfectly framed and I could not be happier with the end result. The framing was completed in 3 days and at half the price I had expected to pay. Great service, and high quality work. I had two canvasses stretched, and Custom Frames offered me the cheapest price. I shopped around at 4-5 different framing shops, and this one was the cheapest by over 40%. Also the people who work there are very friendly and seem passionate about what they do. One women in particular who works there, I can't recall her name, however she was extremely helpful and friendly (she is a professional wedding photographer) I look forward to using your great service again in the future.

The service I have received from Custom Frames has been second to none. I initially went in to query what they could do with my partners Granddad's WW11 naval ensign flag, tie and medals, and had the pleasure of meeting Alan who spent well over half an hour with me discussing various options (with no obligation). I decided not to go anywhere else to compare because the price was so reasonable (and because my first impressions were of a very high standard)! I went in a second time to say that I was going ahead and to take in the flag etc., and again had a lot of time spent on me with Alan and a lovely lady (blonde hair, unfortunately I didn't catch her name). I used Custom Frames on multiple occasions during my last year of university, they framed my degree show work beautifully and were happy to do so again when I was showing a selection of it in London grad week. All the staff are lovely and always go out of their way to help, even with unorthodox requests (for example I had a sheet of glass cut to size and rounded off). Even after moving back to Leeds following graduation, I'd always rather make the trip to get my work framed here!

I am mainly a landscape photographer that likes and appreciates good photographs to be framed. A good photograph should be presented and seen at it's best in a good frame in order to attract and please the eye. A frame that does not complement the picture in my view is a waste of time, effort and money. If the picture is worth hanging or resting for display then it should be worthy of a decent frame. I have recently had four photographs mounted and framed by Custom Frames and I have to say that the quality of advice, workmanship and service is first class. The four photographs are now hanging very proudly in our lounge and they look amazing. It is doubtful that I will use any other company after the work Custom Frames have done for me. Without hesitation I will confidently recommend Custom Frames to my photography friends as well as anyone else.

I approached Custom Frames because the quality of their work on their website looked fantastic - streets ahead of anyone else I found on the internet. I wanted a custom arrangement of photos on a custom background, and Alan was very open to working with me on it when I spoke to him. I designed the background, provided Alan with the graphics, the photos in electronic format, a representation of how I wanted everything to be arranged and he did the rest. I'm incredibly pleased with the result - it was a present for my girlfriend and she loves it too. The quality is fantastic - not overly cheap, but you get what you pay for. I paid for quality and got it in spades, along with some suggestions from Alan on how to beneficially modify the concept to present better. I would (and have) highly recommend Custom Frames to anyone wanting a really high quality custom picture frame or mount.
