Tons of choice. My grandchildren are very keen on a variety of crafts. One bought 4 tubs of assorted beads and accessories for making bracelets just to replenish her stock which was running low. The other was looking for slime sets. Both came away with much more than they went in for, and returned home very happy!!

Me and my partner decided to take a trip out to Hobbycraft as she was looking for some more crochet patterns. She ended up buying three or four different patterns which she absolutely lost. She's made a fox crochet teddy bear for our daughter and put a rattling inside of it so she could play. It has lots of sewing and crocheting patterns and accessories

Love Hobbycraft but usually shop online. We went in to look at the half term deals but couldn't find them - would have been helpful if they were in one place. Otherwise, there's a good selection and we love the Hobbycraft outlet at the back!

Great plethora of goods, well mapped out making navigation most pleasant. Lift access was convenient however could use a clean. Upstairs was a little warm but staff and experience were most satisfactory overall. Would recommend.

Cute shop with a big variety of art supplies! Prices are pretty reasonable, however some products you could get cheaper at the B&M next door. But it is really big and full to the brim of knitting equipment, painting tools and more! I also love the themes they have every year (E.g Halloween, Christmas, Easter etc) 5 stars. Would recommend!

Very well sef for covid regulations. Always so many different new things to try whatever craft you love doing. Great selection of knitting yarns including fashion yarns, cotton chunky and aran. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Loads of stuff for cake decorating. Always good quality products.

Nice big store that seems to sell pretty much everything craft related and cake decorating stuff. Also randomly seems to sell toys and limited airfix kits too. Coping well with social distancing, thanks to the amount of space available inside the store. Good parking too.

When we visited today, the staff were all so helpful and friendly. We visited during the pandemic (we needed more craft supplies for the kiddiewinkles) and there are lots of measures in place to enable us to try and stay safe. Its definitely worth the effort to get here if you are a creative person or if you want to try something new then this shop will help you find the best for you. The staff are friendly and helpful with good knowledge of the arts and crafts. There is ample car parking space available. I have to go by bus as no car but I will always go here for my arts and crafts supplies. Its located near the city centre and on a nice day its a lovely walk also. I would recommend you check the opening times. And if you need help just ask as the staff are really good i always ask them if im starting something new like cross stitch

This is a great place to buy all of your craft needs. It really is an Aladdin's cave. Very reasonable prices too and so much to choose from. If you have children then it's worth a visit to stock up on all of the essentials to keep them busy and there's a lot to inspire you for different projects. On top of that, the staff are very friendly and parking is easy. Wish I had known about this place before.

Quite a large store, has a bit of everything which can be quite useful for kids projects, arts and crafts, and even bits for parties or events like table trinkets and decorations. My partner purchases wool from the large selection that they stock here too, not my thing but the choice seemed vast.

This place is massive and has practically everything in it that you could possibly want. I do think it's understaffed tho and there never seems to be anyone around when you need to find something. I purchase brushes from here for my nail business and they're really good quality but at a fraction of what I pay from the wholesaler. I also purchased Easter crafts for my children the last time and they were also good quality

Brilliant place to get almost everything you need for small projects! I regularly visit to buy stationary but the store has a lot more to offer than you would first think. Aside from the usual hobby store items such as buttons or fabrics they offer a massive range of painting equipment and materials. There is also a large clearance section full of goodies! I managed to pick some Christmas presents up too from a large gift area full of jigsaws, kids arts and crafts and much more. Definitely worth a trip. Ask about their loyalty card also - every time you shop you’re entered into a prize draw to win vouchers.

This store is on a retail park with several large stores but you're only allowed to park for 2 hours. I'd travelled a way to go there to buy quite a lot of things for my wedding. I asked a member of staff if there was somewhere else to park to give you more time as I hadn't really finished shopping and just got a flat "No" with no sympathy or smile. When I said "what do people do if they want more time to shop?," She replied "well most people make sure they get what they need within the time allowed." In a manner which left me feeling quite humiliated. Lovely shop but friendlier, helpful staff would make it even nicer.

We came in to buy some craft stuff for my daughter to make her wedding invites. The staff were lovely. My grand daughter went to the craft area where the children could make a fathers day card. We were in here a very long time. Both with buying stuff. Looking what we needed to get. All the while my granddaughter was with her grandpa at the craft table. Run excellently by a very nice young lady. Then the horrendous queue at the checkouts. We had spent in the region of £150.00. To find the following week we got a parking ticket for being 16 minutes over our alloted time. So unfortunately we won't be coming back. As it cost me another £40 in charges. My daughter has all the receipts but I wasn't going to ask her for them and ruin what had been a lovely day. Getting stuff for her wedding.

What a place to go if you do any sort of crafting. It's an Aladines Cave. I love the wool, especially the WI wools, which are amazing quality. Once I've chosen my selection, which takes far longer than it should, with so many to choose from, I start checking out all the other sections. This is bad, but for all the good reasons. There's so much to choose from, your creative mind runs wild. It's a wonderful place to take children, with lots of child friendly crafts , aimed at tiny hands. There is always season aimed crafts, ie : Easter, Halloween, Christmas and Valentine's day, which are wonderful for families to do together . With free parking right outside, you don't have far to walk with you full bags of goodies.

It's a large ish crafting superstore. It usually has on trend craft stuff, so for other stuff that you might enjoy more than the majority of crafters, it can be hard to get what you need or want. I'm into loom knitting and although they have a good range of brands, it can be really hard to get the colours you want, so more often than not, I end up using other online retailers. It's great if you're after a few bits and bobs, although if you have time, check out The Range on the same retail park as their craft stuff can be cheaper sometimes. The main downside can be their prices. Paying up to an extra £1.50 per ball of Yarn can make a difference when you're buying numerous yarns. I tend to buy in excess of 15 balls of Yarn at a time, so the cost difference really adds up. Frankly though, my Hubby could dump me at the doors and go somewhere for a few hours as I'm happy to just lose myself in there!
