Expansive shop over several floors, with a myriad of objects and clothes. Lovely place for an extensive browse.
S. A.
Very different, lots of different things under one roof including a bar, vintage clothing & toys, handmade jewellery, haunted museum, barber's etc. Somewhere very different. Friendly staff too
m.
Fantastic and great museum well worth a visit
C. M.
I have gripes with things but the hospitality in the cafe and on the shop floor etc are wonderful. Robs Cameras is the place of dreams here. To get film cameras fixed or to buy refurbs and so on for really fair prices, this is the place. The whole building is listed and it shows which is beautiful. I would love to see more of the maturer ages working within the cafe as I remember seeing a job ad that pointed towards a certain age range here which made me feel a bit annoyed as ageism is often ignored and overlooked. This in fact was and to a small degree, still is, my only gripe.

Fabulous place spent lots of money, lovely vintage clothes and artifacts. Has a haunted museum in the basement run by paranormal group haunted adventures. Could have spent all day there! What am i saying i did. Coffee cake cobs everything in one building. Antiques, vintage and food and a museum love this place. Im from mansfield came by train. Didn't get to visit anywhere else used up a whole day here!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
B. R.
Nice staff and lovely shop. You can find some really cool stuff there. The café serves good food and coffee. Definitely worth stopping by there if you're in the area.
M. A. (.
Great space, lots of interesting and quirky unique items, reasonably priced. The place is not very disabled friendly and wheel chair access is not really viable. However friendly staff and outside cafes option is good.
M. J.
I've been here twice and purposely looked it up the second time when I was in Nottingham for work. A really quirky shop on 3 levels. Fabulous Mad Hatter tea room on ground floor with the Mad Hatter himself. Spent a good hour looking round whilst waiting for my train just across the road. Lots and lots to look at! Almost too much! You can sit in, or out for coffee too. They could improve on their hot chocolate making though! All in all a good place to hang out.
m. z.
Very interesting place some fascinating things to be found there plus trip to Haunted Museum well worth visiting. Even saw a ghost and have evidence! The one with the hearse there was only me and my niece in the room so no other reflection possible
D. J.
Great place to browse round and who knows what you might find!
Had a lovely lunch at the bar too.
J. R.
Very nice coffee shop/bar and antique centre all in one. Friendly staff and a great place to browse and then sit and chill.
d. b.
Brilliant place to relax. Excellent service with great staff. You must try it. Drinks and food great.
N. H.
Came in for food and drink at Hop. But unfortunately picked the wrong day. Staff at Hop were lovely and friendly, explained that they are undergoing maintenance.
Still though, hot chocolate with cherry/strawberry was heavenly. The 'brookie' brownie cookie was delicious. Didn't taste too much of either, and wasn't overwhelming with the chocolateyness that some brownies have an issue with.
Can't wait to go again. Will update as I go!
Am yet to check out the rest of the store. But I will.
D. P.
Went to the haunted museum well worth a visit
M. W.
First time visiting and felt very welcome, great atmosphere and fantastic selection of drinks. Will be returning regularly.
D. W.
Ate at the café. Toasted baguette with a "side_ of their special Nacho's. I'm not often overfaced, but oh boy, I couldn't eat another bite. Really tasty.
D. B.
Excellent experience well worth it, a great collection of oddities and memorabilia take your time to check out the rats.....there so funny give it a try its worth it
K. F.
An amazing and at times overwhelming display of vintage trinkets from days gone by. Worth a stop for the memories alone - and you might find a treasure to buy. Many items to browse at reasonable prices.
C. M.
Some great bargains with a real Aladdin's Cave vibe! You can spend hours on the various floors, and when you need a snack just head to the Café & bar on the ground floor.
Nottingham's answer to Afflecks Palace!
J. J.
What is there not to like? Enchanting place with something for everybody.
Amazing staff. Great food and drink served with a smile. Great haunted museum of ghosts. Thoughroghly enjoyed my time. And so convenient right next to the station. Recommended.
I. B.
What a great venue. Good food and drinks. Great atmosphere. What better than to go browsing the antiques on the way to the loo.
O. M.
What a little gem. Some amazing items for sale , lovely staff and cute Alice in Wonderland themed restaurant....wish I could of stayed longer and had a larger budget!!!
T.
A perfect place to kill the waiting time for the train with a large collection of antiques and interesting objects
R. J.
one of the best sausage and bacon cobs I’ve ever had and I’m a 60 year old connoisseur xx.
J. N.
This is a lovely little place. Lots of varied, independent retailers and a wonderful antiques and curios shop. The bar/cafe is staffed by the nicest people and the food & drinks are very good. Recommended to us by our boss three weeks ago and we will be making our fourth visit tomorrow. Highly recommended.
J. C.
Fantastic people ,very friendly and accommodating towards myself. I had an hour to wait for a train after a long business day. They kept the cafe open an extra half hour for me to finish my drink. Interacted and chatted about music with April lovely lady I can't recommend this place enough as a passer through thank you.
E. K.
It was a fun place to be. To see some many artifacts (read junk) from the past, in so many colours shapes and forms, and being able to buy it was great. Plus working arcade machine for 20p per 3 lifes. Also a nice sitting area in front with option to buy tea and cake for pound each. What a delight!
F. G.
Great coffee...Great atmosphere..Amazing toastie...Great price...Will be returning
T. S.
Fantastic atmosphere, great staff, great sound track, great food. :-)
M. R.
A mainstay of Nottinghams leftfield vibe. Quirky antiques and vintage clothing, a treasure trove of interesting things. A later addition is the licensed cafe, delightful place to relax and watch the world pass by. Enjoy. M
A. M.
Lovely cafe bar, antique shop, tattoo parlour, barbers, and haunted museum! Classic mix of shops anyone would expect under under one roof! We had a brilliant time looking around here! The bar especially was great! Thank you!
D. W.
Laid back cafe bar with good choice of food and drinks.
A. G.
. Lovely little place. Great music and atmosphere. Good service I ordered Coffee and a lemon and poppy seed muffin. Yummy.
L. I.
Nice place, worth visiting often to check on the new stuff. You might be surprised by the little treasures you can find.
L. G.
Love this place, changes every time I visit, vintage, cup of tea and some other goodies to purchase and now a rainbow stairs 🥰
S. H.
Quirky and fascinating horror museum with vintage niknaks for sale. Little gem.
L. G.
Loved this place so much and that I was honoured in visiting this place and that the staff was very welcoming and friendly, Lovely items for great and fair prices, will be visiting again this week!
S. L.
There's so many interesting items! From collectables to unique handmade pieces. I loved looking around! Hanging the vinyls on hangers is an amazing idea!
O. S.
I could spend forever in here, purchased 2 items today, let's get creative with my old match boxes.
K. B.
I love this place where the music matches the shopping experience. Drinks a bit overpriced though - £4.20 for a small bottle of brewdog!!
M. B.
Nice unique antiques shop and cafe. Independent. Great stock at reasonable prices.
L. b.
Absolutely lovely place, the food was big portions from the cafe. Staff were friendly and enthusiastic and I love the upstairs clearance brought back memories from my childhood highly recommend
M. N.
Great atmosphere, really relaxed. Its really quirky with miss-matched chairs, tables made out of sleepers, lamps and vases made from old alcohol bottles! Great food and very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and there's live updates of the train timetables. Definitely recommend
c. k.
It's ok as near the station. Beer ok venue ok. Nothing remarkable to give any more stars. Definitely worth a visit though
S. W.
Its a really fascinating place with all kinds of bic a brac, model cars, jewellery, vintage items, books, coins, stamps, retro items and clothing. And there is a good cafe within the building and serving outside on the pavement.Just like being in Paris.I discovered one more storey the last time I went. Its great to visit even if you only buy a coffee. The staff are friendly and helpful
J. S.
Met a friend for lunch as it is convenient for work. The menu is simple - toasted sandwiches, soup, filled cobs, so if you want fancy you might want to go elsewhere. However, my (pre-filled), cob was fresh, the tea was very good and the coffee and walnut cake was excellent, all for less than £7. A look around the store topped it off nicely. If you like vintage and quirky, definitely worth a visit. If you like trendy and pretentious then maybe not.
B. L.
An absolute brilliant place, fantastic stuff to by from all sorts of eras old telephone, old typewriters.from the 1940 even an rail ticked dispenser fashions from the 1940 to 2000. Records (vinyls) an fantastic atmosphere and there is also an cafe where you can relax and eat and drink, inside and outside. Great will definitely go again. Brilliant
Y. G.
Friendly staff, loads of fab vintage bits and bobs, clothes, toys, pictures and other paraphernalia over theee floors. Not overpriced . Comfy seating area to get food and drink though drinks are a little pricey. The sort of place you can spend hours in. Oh and they play great music in the background. Thank God for somewhere like this in Nottingham .
S. G.
Friendly and quirky. Stopped by for a quick lunch. Food served very quickly. Would have loved to explore the shop but did not have time between trains. Very handy for station. When in Nottingham will definitely visit again.
M. R.
Love this antique shop always little treasures there to find
P. W.
Great customer service and all staff were kind and friendly, they really made you feel welcome. A very chilled and relaxing environment, as soon as you set foot in the place. The tea and coffee they made was really refreshing. I will defiantly be returning and recommending this place to people I know as a place to sit and relax during a break or after work.
D. M.
Fabulous place, went to have my guitar looked at but love it. Full of so many shops and interesting places. Nice homely bar downstairs. Well worth a visit for a browse.
L. Y. H.
Gorgeous place, has a few stories of beautiful vintage or vintage inspired goods.
First floor is full of real vintage postcards, clothes, books, fabrics from several sellers. Downstairs gets even quirkier with vintage keys, buttons, furniture and lots of surprises.
Upstairs they sell vintage refurbished cameras and jewellery, more clothes, vinyl and other amazing bits and bobs.
Whenever I go, I leave with a bag full, just can't help it
M. H.
This place is sooo cool! Absolutely worth at least half an hour of your time to look at the the quirks, bits and bobs they have in
R. V.
Three floors packed with quirky and affordable finds. Can easily spend a couple of hours here, more if you stop to enjoy the new storefront eaterie / bar. Definitely worth a visit. Just opposite the train station, so easy to find.
W. A.
Very satisfying experience everytime. Always new stuff to display and the bar/cafe is a great addition
S. M.
Very unique and multi layered establishment. So much to see here. Tea lovely too 😋
H. D.
Had a drink and cake in the Hops cafe..coffee was very good, could improve on the cake though..the vintage shop has a good selection to suit most. Made a small purchase. Staff are attentive in both sections.
W.
Full of curios that you can buy. It seems like a place for the new progressive types you know purple hair and body piercings. Don't let them put you off visiting. Not tried the coffee but the usual chain of coffee shops are close by if you like the safe known taste of coffee. The smell of pollution from the Midlands Railway Station does waff and irritate so does the bother from street workers.
D. M.
I Love this place. Nothing better than getting a shift from work that takes me to Nottingham. The antiques can take you back to a time you once knew and you can become lost in all this place has to offer. Prices are reasonable. The big jewel here is that they even have a quality cafe. The staff are soo cool. Very helpful clean cut and polite. Hot cold drinks and snacks and if you're into it vegan options. And on the wall of the cafe is the train departures so you don't miss your train. If you're travelling by train or tram. Forget the "starsucks" and "Cotalots" and get yourself here instead.
Oh and for those who play pokemon there's even 3 Pokestops here too.
M. H.
Really good beer and interesting place. Toilets let out down
N. H.
Great place for a mooch. Some really treasures at realistic prices. Over four floors with a splendid cup of tea in the basement cafe. Right next to the station and well worth a visit if you have half an hour to wait for your train!
A. S.
I had an unexpected 40 minute stop-over between trains so dived in here last night. It's a bar, cafe and antique shop. My main concern was to get my hands on a beer, and in this I was completely successful. The combination of bar, cafe, antique shop makes the vibe feel a little odd. When I visited the loo upstairs I found myself in a small art gallery, and had I stayed longer I feel sure someone would have offered me a test drive in a Ford Fiesta. I'm not complaining; it just felt a little different.
J. H.
Not visited for a while, gosh some brilliant updating and organising of the whole place. Lovely enthusiastic staff, so pleased to come back.
g. p. a. a. d.
Great shop great items and soon a bar to top it all off
c. e.
Always friendly, nice to sit out and watch the world walk by coming and going from the station.
k. f.
This place is amazing! You could spend the day here shopping, reminiscing and a gin to finish!
J. F.
Popped in on a day trip to Nham for work. Spent over an hour inside - loved the old school shopping experience and found some quality old stuff. Cool concept with the bar but disappointed to not see local beer - only commercial factory beers. It just didn't seem right.
s. d. k.
Great selection and all the staff most pleasant got what I wanted.
C. A.
Always start a train journey by stopping by Hops first, the coffee is fantastic as is the cake and it is exceptionally good value. The staff are really friendly and the interior is so interesting.
G. A.
Love the place but...hard seats in the bar area and the obvious bagsy of the setter made us rethink our idea of a drink. Metal chairs are so passe. Give us comfort not utility.
S. P.
The only bad thing about the store is that you are in danger of buying something you never knew you needed. Lots of dealers with everything from watches to shoes and handbags to dinner services. Everything is antique, vintage or simply eclectic. It's always good for a coffee and an hour or two of wandering.
l. p.
Such a fab hideout from the busy square. Loved it. Great drinks, atmosphere and lots of hidden treasure. One of my favourite places to hide whilst the boys are at the match.
M. L.
Are you a student, or perhaps you simply have some sort of trust fund? Do you get that awful 11am feeling that you just aren't being seen anywhere?
Well then, you'll know that being seen somewhere vaguely quirky, will make you seem complex and interesting.
Pry yourself out of bed, grab a premium beer, and perch yourself on one of our high street sofas in the middle of a working day. Within minutes you'll be soaking in the admiration of others as they go about their boring working lives.
So roll on down to Nottinghams latest and greatest hipster aquarium, it's the most happening place this side of a personality.
A. N.
Loved this little pub attached to a Vintage place, especially enjoyed the Pack man machine 20p a game. Beer is extreamly pricey but the vintage place has loads of bargains, also it's next to the train station and has deoarture times.
P. L.
Lots of great unique antiques and a lovely bar/cafe that's being built. They have a huge selection of vintage clothes and many other items such as jewelry, vinyl, cameras and more. Worth a visit if you find time!
I. B.
Food and drink excellent. Staff were really helpful and attentive. Definitely going back
J. C.
I loved this quirky place, my husband used to deliver here back in the day when it was a hardware store, perfect place to get a coffee or something stronger while you wait for your train, it even has a train departure board to check on what time your train leaves, definitely be going back again.
S. R.
Great selection and antiques and vintage goodies to look through over several floors, all at reasonable prices. Cafe at front that serves nice lunch time meals and hot, cold and alcoholic drinks that can be eaten inside or out.
C. K. (.
Friendly staff and unique place to have a pint and a lunch. Loads of vegan options as well!
T. W.
The best place to visit in Nottingham.
C. B.
Love this place, what better than a huge mixture of amazing goodies, with a beer or two, right near the train station also.
M. C.
From vintage bits and bobs too the most unexpected items you will find in this place. Three floors need a good hour in there to see everything. Great when you find an usual present for someone
G. H.
If you are in Notts. you have to visit this place. Whether you are looking for vintage clothes, antiques or just want to stroll down memory lane for an hour. Great atmosphere, great oldies music and a great place to chill with a nice cup of rose lee.
P. B.
Great for vintage and crafty items (there is a good haberdashery section of you're into you steampunk and odd buttons), but an antique shop this is not. There are one or two cabinets with a bit of silver in, but that's about it if you're an antique hobbyist.
d. s.
Huge 4 floor emporium with bargains galore. Only downside is parking as with all city centre shops. Definitely worth a visit if you like antiques and has a nice coffee shop to relax in afterwards.
B. S.
Amazing coffee & great outdoor seating! Really nice aesthetic too, would definitely reccomend- especially if waiting for a train
S. S. (.
Like a Pandora box of loveliness, I could have stayed there easily a few hours searching!!.
M. M.
4 or 5 floors of nick nacks and vintage items. Beer on draught good food nice coffee excellent cake!

F. A.
Great place to spend a few hours if you like vontage
E. C.
A great idea and lovely friendly staff. Well worth a visit!
J. W.
Nice decor but considering the look and vibe of the place would love some local or more interesting beers on! A little disappointing selection of standard lagers!
L. B.
Huge, quirky space with four floors of affordable vintage collectibles, homewares, fashion, Jewellery, art, furniture and lighting with.a 50s hair salon, guitar shop and Alice In Wonderland tea rooms. No parking though
C. S.
A fantastic little place filled with goodies as far as the eye can see. There is a cafe in there too and they do a lot more than just antiques. I really should go more often!
A. B.
Love this place but you have to take your time and have a good look over the 4 floors. Nice cafe as Well.
M. S.
Amazing variety of antiques and curios over three floors. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will return when we have more time.
P. J.
Wonderful cafe. Wonderful and very varied antiques shop, lots of different things for all tastes. Great staff too.

good vintage/retro shop. good place to kill an hour. can be a bit pricey for some tat though! but if you search thoroughly enough you can find a bargain and a little bit of your childhood!
M. B.
Great place for all things old , odd and inbetween. Several floors to mooch around and then grab some food and a beer in the cafe.
S. W.
I'm still a bit sad about the addition of the hipster coffee bar and the removal of the cute underground coffee shop. Still love having a good rummage around in here though.
R. E.
Nice little bar and cafe underneath multiple floors of many vintage goods and crafts people. Bar staff were really nice
S. M.
Cafe had nice vibe. Didn't have chance to have a real good look around the shop. Will be returning :-)
S. N.
Nice place for a beer or even a bite to eat. Normally pop into here for a beer while coming to Nottingham. Only downside no Guiness on draught.😢😢😢😢
H. M.

A wonderful place! It's full of trinkets, tea and treasures. It feels like you're stepping into the past. Well worth a visit!
A. K. (.
Amazing amount of vintage items for those who love antiques but the coffee could've been better and they could have a wider range of food and snacks
J. B.
Quirky curiosity shop, and well worth a visit for this alone (and separate teashop downstairs), but goods very expensive and not open to offers. No doubt bargains if you look hard enough.
B. B.
Great place to stop off for a drink after a train journey. Or before, it includes a departure board.
C. O.
Great cafe and a splendid place to mooch about amongst the vast number of retro , vintage, bonkers, items
D. E.
Never seem to find anything to buy, but love looking around this place and visit often. One day I'm sure I'll find that special something that'll encourage me to open my wallet!

(Translated) It is an antique shop located very close to the station, with a terrace and cafeteria with food at the entrance.
The place is clean, cozy and quiet.
The bathrooms are unixes, clean and well conditioned.
The decor is vintage and very kitsch, they even have a coin arcade.
The music that is heard in the background is varied in styles and epochs, but all classical.
The food is simple, nothing gourmet or experimental cuisine. And that's nice in a cafe, especially when it's next to the station and you just want to have a drink and reset your mind after a trip. But also for when you want to relax and disconnect.
The attention of the staff is polite and quick, they care about you.
The only thing ... there is not much choice if you are vegan or vegetarian. So I can't give them the fifth star.
But it is an absolutely recommended site.
If I have a chance, I'll come back.
