We dropped by to look for small sized gift bags. Unfortunately, while we found some gift bags, they were too large to suit our purpose. Aside from that, it was very busy inside. Not sure if it is this busy usually or if it's because of the celebration planned at Old Market Square. There was a large selection of candies and sweets. They even had a frozen section.

A great value for money! It’s a huge well-kept store with a variety of goods including sewing kits, stationery and personal care products.The staff are very helpful and friendly. I’ve never had any issues there. Tips: try to go there early in the morning to avoid long queues and shop comfortably. Some goods are over 1 £; they simply can’t be sold at this price. And certain items are 50p only.

The store is good but the staff are a bit rude. For example I bought few thing and some of them clearly was stated for £1 but on the self checkout whenever I scanned them shows £2 and as you guess I told the staff but they even didn't check and just said yes its £2 and again I told them that on the label in the shelf says £1 but they was keep saying £2

A lot of the shelves were empty, probably due to delivery problems. Many items are not bargains anymore, as they now have less in or are smaller ie 4 packs of chocolate bars, many pound items can be found cheaper at other stores ie Wilko.

Some great value items but beware of items sold at higher prices than Savers, Home Bargains and Wilkinsons. Great Central location and accessible entrance. It has all usual facilities provided in a City Centre location. Despite it's origin as 'everything's £1', there is a growing range of items sold for £2 or more. A lot of space in this 2 storey store, and it has clothing and many other things.

I like this shop it's a large shop on two floors. You can access diwbsiby the stairs or if your disabled etc there is a small 2 person lift. The shop is quite comprehensive selling a wide range of household and non household items. They also sell sandwiches now and drinks all kept fresh in huge fridges. They do a meal deal on sandwiches and Cornish pastry's . There is self service tills and staff tills . One que for all. The que moves fast. Can get lots of bargains here .items that sell full retail price in other shops are £1. This shop as well as other pound shops sells some items over £1 these are very clearly labelled.

Good ol' Poundland. If you don't know, you can get all sorts of cheap tat here. You can also get some really good stuff for great prices. This particular Poundland has a big clothes and homeware section downstairs and is great for a bargain.

One of the best Poundland in this place. The shop has two floors. The lower floor has clothes, books while the first floor has almost everything.

Typical pound land but the staff make this shop, really kind and friendly. The lady with long black/brown hair who works behind the till is fantastic, such a lovely warm person. She makes me laugh Every time! Really great team at this branch, can ask anyone for help and the customer service is amazing.

There's always a lot to choose from at this poundland. They ways seem to have a bit of everything, and they have a lot of snacks (which is my favourite part). It can be very busy at times and there isn't always the staff available to accommodate for how busy the store gets, so queues can be a bit long. But that doesn't happen too often, it's a great shol with great deals, who can argue with £1?

I've been dragged around Poundland stores far more often than I'd like. Some people really love this store. I definitely don't. This particular branch is good to be fair.

Yeah, some things are worth £1 but some things are priced at 5 to 10 times that amount and that's just utterly ridiculous. And they don't sell the Frijj Milkshakes which I think is their biggest flaw.
