Love Hobbycraft! A DIY/Craft heaven. Lovely and understanding staff, decoration is top. Bought many things from here over the years , never been disappointed. Prices vary but even the most expensive is worth it!

Sells absolutely everything you could need for school project or crafting hobbies. I personally find it hard to find anything in store, but the staff are brilliant and will always help. Love this place, there are so many things that I would like to buy. I like crafty things and special I like cross-stitch, crochet and knitting so when I go there I staying there for long time. There are plenty stufd for kids as well. If you like crafty things it is the best place to go and find what you need maybe you will be surprised that you can find something more that you can imagine.

Lots of crafty things for all ages and abilities. Some great offers. We have a loyalty card and they send you email ideas and offers. We had a £5 voucher so hubby needed some art equipment I needed cards and envelopes. We got some good offers. It's 2 storey and there's a lift. Parking is easy outside the shop for disabled.

Popped in for something specific, but there was so much to look at and some good offers on that it took quite some time! Only complaint would be that it took ages at the till behind a queue of one who was asked for many private details in order to join a mailing list or something similar. I was suprised to learn that he was only a few months younger than myself despite looking much older (in my opinion!) I also heard where he lived and that he didn't have a chip and pin. All details that should not be asked in a public place. Plenty of parking spaces outside. Will visit next time I need anything.

Hobbycraft is great, however last few 'The Longton' for watercolor papers that i've purchased weren't good. One half of the paper is waxy and when color is applied it's not absorbed as it should, leaving blotches.

A huge selection of arts, crafts and specialist hobby items. The staff are always polite, helpful and friendly. The prices range a lot! You can get some really cheap items ranging to quite expensive. It's brilliant for things from children's art projects through to specialist hobby items and tools such as modelling, knitting and small woodwork. Overall a good shop.
