A big thank you to Lanne for managing a tricky return. She was professional, efficient and friendly. My online order was missing items but I also needed a refund as they were no longer needed. I was a little frustrated by the missing order to then find out it couldn’t be refunded easily as I paid via PayPal. It took extra effort the next day for Lanne to sort this for me and then she rang me to inform me it had been processed. Brilliant service! Thank you!!

Brilliant store for an extensive range of art and craft supplies, including specialised brands of paints, canvases and other mediums. Also, plenty of storage options and products you may not have even thought of. On the same floor, there is a huge range of sewing supplies and walls full of canvas art. Worth a visit!

This is one of the larger craft shops I've been to. They have everything from painting, drawing, colouring, crafting, baking, knitting supplies and much more. Reasonably priced with a range of items for kids, beginners to experts. Also wasn't too busy when I went on a Sunday afternoon. There's also parking right outside which is very handy

This is an amazing shop, full of treasures for people looking for creative hobbies of all kinds. The staff are very friendly and there is an inspiring array of things to do. Coming here is like entering a creative wonderland. I took basic sewing class with a lovely tutor Kathryn. 100% enjoyed. Will be back for more. I can't recommend this place highly enough! Catch a glimpse of the famous Banksy on the Reading prison a few metres up the road while you are here.

Extensive range at reasonable prices. My wife loves the isle of beads and they have wool for days. When it comes to specific crafts it not perfect but for the beginner through to early professional its got all you need. Great range of goods to help the most creative of individual. However, the customer service is pretty poor. There was clearly a long queue at the till with only two people serving but there was no attempt at getting other members of staff to help.

Free parking (just don't leave the car park or you'll get a fine!) helpful staff, store layout changed recently and needed help finding items and member of staff was very helpful. Sometimes a logging queue but can be avoided by going in the evening. A reasonable range of items for a craft store. Some prices are far too high but same as lots of places highstreet vs online.

I went off route to visit Hobbycraft and was slightly disappointed, possibly because I was expecting it to be a bit more affordable e.g. there wasn't a price on a pen, a single pen, I thought it couldn't be more expensive than the pack of 3 markers I put back...it was £3...for a black pen. Despite this, there was a great selection of art and craft materials and I had no idea they did cute little workshops in store, I thought it was a fab idea! Staff were polite and helpful. I would recommend buying your basic craft stuff like scrapbooks/paper/pens/stickers elsewhere but come to Hobbycraft for slightly more specific/higher end items.

Its a pity the actual art supplies seem to take second place to the hobby/craft stuff (clue is in the name I suppose) but they still have a pretty decent selection of art supplies and its the only game in town really so they get my vote. Staff always seem friendly and helpful and if you get in there when its quite its a pretty pleasant shopping experience.

Went in with a tricky project in mind and found everything I needed. Wasn't too far to walk from the town centre (although there is a large free car park if you are driving).

It is a typical Hobbycraft, albeit not as large or quite as well stocked as the Woking store. The prices are far from competitive when compared to online stores but the ability to see it and but it immediately must be the price of convenience. The range of things they stock are limited so your choice within categories themselves (modelling flock, for example) is somewhat limited but the quality is always about what you would expect. There are no loos and so shopping with toddlers is a nightmare and the queue is weekends is unbearable.

Great arts and crafts store boasting a good selection of supplies for a variety of crafts such as; sewing, baking, painting, drawing, model making (clay), crocheting, knitting, tatting, weaving, loom knitting, quilting, jewellery making/designs and Cricut craft supplies... and more 😊 As well as personalised gift ideas i.e. hamper baskets - diary’s - cards etc... and birthday party decor/treats. It is great place to start for any budding arts and crafts enthusiasts. As well as thought starting up a new handmade business.

There is the more professional stuff and there is a a cheaper hobbycraft home brand incase you are just trying out something and don't yet want to commit. It's just as good too. There is a really good range of equipment including boards, boxes, tools and cutters plus a comprehensive range of Renshaws sugarpaste colours. Ok, so you may pay extra, but it's the convenience of having the shop close at hand if you run out. Also a good range of ribbons for finishing your boards. A great variety of other arts and craft equipment. I'm sure you would find almost everything that you would need for adults and children alike. They often run craft days too!
