Had a great experience in this shop today ! Me an my boyfriend wanted to set up our own aquarium tank an this shop had so much choice an at great prices, the staff was also amazing we spoke to the man on the aquarium section, he was so kind an incredible helpful, gave us lots of information an made us feel more confident in setting up our tank. (Big thanks to him!) we have been to a few fish shops recently an this was by far the best. :)

Well laid out shop that caters for pretty much everything and everyone. Bought a tank, plants, substrate etc before returning a couple of weeks later for fish. Staff are very knowledgeable and Jake was great with advice and answering any questions. The tank looks amazing now after 5 weeks from when we first set up and all the fish are happy and healthy. Will be back to add a few more fish soon.

I visit here fairly often. It's got a good selection of products for all kinds of animals and the staff are very helpful and educated. Unfortunately when it gets busy there is a wait to be served in the fish section as there's usually only 1 or 2 people serving up there which is a little annoying as it's very warm in the fish section but there's no point in having more staff up there because of the quiet times. Swings and roundabouts. Definitely recommend this store.

I am a regular customer of Creature Comforts & Aquatic Centre. Big range of different products. High quality of customer service and that has been proved last time. I had an emergency with my over 300liters fish tank, STARTED LEAKING. Without hesitation, I went straight away to the shop asking for help to buy new fish thank. Jake was very helpful quickly, find out for me which ones are available. Also offered delivery witk Nick in one hour, as my car wasn’t big enough. Great service. Thank you guys!

Staff are Knowledgeable, always friendly and happy to help. The fish I have purchased from here always seem to be healthy (touching wood as purchased a few more today!) Only reason I haven't given 5 stars is sometimes you see the odd dead fish, which if you ask me can deter you from buying any from that particular tank as contamination is a concern regarding the other fish being exposed to the dead one. I have never purchased a fish from a tank that has a dead one in. That said it's a great place and well worth a visit.

I really like this shop, the staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and they genuinely give you informed advice rather just trying sell you stuff. A lot friendlier than some of the staff at a nearby competitor, that's for sure! It would have been 5 stars but they sold me a plant that had snail eggs and they've massacred my tank. I went here today to purchase a tank for a sick fish. I came out of the shop with a tank a filter and a heater at the price that other shops would charge for just a tank. The people were friendly and so helpful and many thanks for all the help. Also anyone who wants to see healthy fish in clean tanks and brilliant varieties there is no better place.

UPDATE Oct 18... there are now 2 lovely people able to help with the fish. Got great service the other day. Put stars up from 1 to 4. Original review....The female shop workers are very helpful and friendly but yet again I can't get served by the male staff who look after the fish. I asked for help and he said he'd be with me. I stood in front of him waiting but then someone else asked for help and he walked away with them. This is the fourth time this kind of thing has happened. There is one man who is excellent. I think his name is Jake but if he's not there i can't get served. I admit it reduced me to tears this time and i left. I'm half way through a water change in my fish tank and can't put the filter back in without the correct water treatment which is why i went there.

Brought my two turtles from here 2 years ago. I have never had aquatic pets before just my dog and a couple of rabbits when I was a kid. All the staff were more than happy to help me and give me all the advice and information I needed in terms of filters, water temperatures, dry and wet food and upkeep. You can honestly get everything you need in here for so many pets. Great deals on freezer foods and live squid at only 10 pence each!

It is another pet shop that has items that you need that you can't in other shops and we just made it to get chinchilla sand where we weren't able to get it anywhere else we prefer to go to the shops instead of shopping online that's why shops are disappearing from the high streets because of online shopping it's better to browse in stores for what you want

There is a good selection of fish in well kept tanks and a good level of knowledge. There are other pets from rabbit and hamsters through to reptiles and insects. There is a good level of food and accessories for most types of pets. They are open 7 days a week and prices are reasonable. Kids and pets welcome.

Best pet & aquatic shop in the area. Staff very knowledgeable over all (obviously not every one know about everything but some are better at fishes others on reptiles etc), over all there will be always some one who knows what they talking about. Prices are really good. Tanks always clean and fishes healthy. Also pets seem to be well tamed. Only minus is not big choice on cats products but well u can't have it all. I don't leave near but always go there for shopping for my pets (apart from cats as they don't have litter I prefer in their range also quality cat food seem bit on expensive side compare to pets at home and other big chain pet stores). Also u usually have to wait a bit for member of staff to get help/advise (expecially when come for fishes) but it's always worth waiting for.

I bought a starter tank for my 7 year old grandson. Its been filled and pump running for 48hrs. Took my grandson to pick some fish. The man said we couldnt have any untill tank been going for 5-7 days. And to take a sample of water in to be tested before getting fish. I have never heard of this for goldfish tank.

Supplies are a little over priced however there is a good selection especially for dogs and fish. Personally don't feel like the birds rodents & rabbits have the best enclosures although I appriciate most pet shop enclosures are not ideal as temporary. The gerbils and birds showed obvious signs of boredom which is likely due to the lack of toys/entertainment on the cages. I'm not convinced they should be stocking reptiles as I'm yet to come across a member of staff who has a clue about reptiles. That all being said the staff are always approachable and helpful.

One of the best pet stores I have ever been to. Acceptable prices and the care for the animals was amazing. I took my bearded dragon with me to the store to be flooded with compliments and I even bought a box of feeder roaches and a flower mix. I am so happy that the store uses repti-carpet and not sand for bearded dragons as sand is extremely unsafe and is the first store I've seen to do this. We will now visit this store regularly instead of our local stores ( Romsey World of Water and Pampurred Pets) because of the brilliant care and quality CC&AC had to offer!

Extremely well maintain, examplary. The prices are honest. However the fish selection is not original, there are a lot of tanks but nothing really standing out. Usual platys, Guppy's, a few cichlids, no "wow" factor. Shame, with some rarer fish it would be a must go.

Negative 2 stars because even though their store on Google shows marine fish a plenty, and a clownfish picture on their store entranceway, they do not stock any marine fish :( me and my family travelled from the isle of wight to visit and possibly purchase a marine fish or two, but were severely disappointed to find out they have no saltwater fish despite the photos here.. A massive shame for such a lovely little shop..
