Fantastic toy shop. Very reasonably priced. Staff look like they are dosed up on Valium, not surprising given the number of hyperactive kids swarming around. Well worth a visit (much better than shopping online) just to see the look on your nippers face.

i haven't called at Smyth Toys superstores yet but i can see from the instore photos, that thay have all of the choice of toys, that i 'or' anybody else would have no problem's in choseing a toy from, so first I'd recommend that you take a look through their Toy superstore, before any retail toy shop in your area

Went up this morning to pick up my order and was meet with a really fast and efficient service. Handed over the order number and my goods were ready to collect. I had a similar toy purchased and they were happy to swap it for me. Well done Smyths Longton.

Absolutely brilliant. Within 90 minutes, both our granddaughters had chosen their new bikes, tested them, had them built up, had the necessary safety checks done, paid for and packed into the car. Two very happy little girls, one happy Dad and two overjoyed grandparents. Marvellous service thanks Smyth's.

Great shop. Lots of variety. Great prices to cheap pocket money toys to more expensive toys. I've been here many times, but my last visit was very good. I brought a 10ft trampoline with nets and ladder and it was very heavy. The staff helped me get it out of the shop and in to the car. So very helpful and also gave advise and erecting the trampoline.

I ordered a super mario game on click & collect for a Xmas present after Amazon let me down , it was quick , easy & I got confirmation it was ready to collect within 10 minutes , went across to the store on my mobility scooter the 2 members of staff on the collection desk had my order no & checked my ID the lady went & got it & the man gave the gift receipt & told me I would get a e receipt they were friendly & helpful will do click & collect at symths in future .

An Aladdin's cave of children's toys organized into avenues of age ranges. Babies equipment is at the back of the store. Staff are approachable, friendly and informative. Children of all ages (adults included) will enjoy testing out all the toys that make noise and light up.

i had a gift card which i was able to spend online, all the items were in stock for home delivery and were delivered in 2 working days, which i was happy about. the only downside for me was that i was unable to order above the gift card value, the option to pay the balance by card was not available. this meant i had to remove an item to bring me a few pounds under the gift card value. i will never be able to use the remaining balance online again, as everything that is available for home delivery exceeds the balance remaining on my gift card. going to an actual store is not an option. now i know its only a few quid but imagine how many people this has happened to, its just money for nothing for smyths.

The incredibly neat shelves betray the low footfall in the store, possibly due to the location, or perhaps the smaller range of toys compared to megastores like Toys R Us. Helpful staff and plenty of parking, along with click and collect make it useful for planned purchases, but less so if kids want to browse with Christmas/birthday money.

The click & collect order was flawless. The staff in the store were helpful in directing me where to collect my order, and the woman who served me was nice and cheerful. This store was also the cheapest out of the other places I compared to. GAME, Tesco, CEX etc.

With toys shops dropping like flies in the current climate, it's nice to have one close enough to see what you're buying before it arrives on your doorstep. Staff are helpful and friendly.
