H. M.Stumbled across the Mug Tug while we were on a walk. My 3 year old and 18 month old loved painting Halloween themed decorations on the boat.

M. H.Really great place for a teenage birthday party. The host was really helpful. Lots of choice for things you can paint, catering for a wide variety of budgets. The location is amazing next to the canal basin. Plenty of (free) parking and cafes etc if you want a drink after.
D. P.Cannot recommend this place highly enough. For customised items such as handprints on Christmas decorations we have struggled with little ones in the past but Laura here managed to get a perfect print every time she took one. Completely stress free for us.
There are shelves of items in the varying stages (some painted, some fired, some ready to be painted) which gives ideas for children to select what they want to do. We were supplied with loads of brushes for different colours of paint and instructions on how to do it.
A. B.Grandchildren had a wonderful time creating their pieces of art 🎨. Recommend a visit for something a bit different to do with the kids.

I. W.We turned up today without an appointment to get our daughters footprint painted for her first birthday, the staff were so welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. We explained about how another place were unhelpful and they accommodated us with no problem.
The staff member made the session fun and enjoyable for our 1 year old and nothing was to much trouble. Would definitely recommend but advisable to book in advance.
P. B.A floating craft studio for pottery artists. Staff are friendly and helpful putting you at ease. Great for the kids (and big adult kids!) to express their artistic talents. With a great range of items to choose from to paint this is a good hour well spent. Cost ...... very reasonable. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed, I promise you.

F. A.I brought my daughter to the mug tug to get her footprints done for Father’s Day. The staff member I saw was so helpful and understanding. My baby didn’t play ball and got upset but the staff took it in their stride and we got it done. I collected my item a few days later and I’m really happy with it! I’m so glad I came here. Great experience and product! Will be coming back again!
