Staff very friendly, and the man who helped me out with my carpet order was very friendly and approachable. The only downside was the first price quoted seemed very expensive especially after the price more than doubled after the underlay costs. However the price was much better, when my partner's mum intervened for me, as my knowledge of carpets and prices etc aren't the best.

We used United Carpets and Beds to have a wooden flooring installed in our living room and dining room. We felt they had a broad selection of products available, enough to give us a headache with which to choose, which is a nice problem to have. Once we gathered accurate measurements, the dialogue we exchanged with their staff was excellent. It was apparent they were very proud of their work and offered great advice to care for the flooring. The gentleman (I regret I can’t remember his name) who installed the flooring arrived with his son and did an outstanding job. It was evident upon completion they were careful, skilled and surprisingly quick. When relatives visited they were impressed enough that we recommended United Carpets and Beds to them who used them for their home which leads us to our only criticism: they need more people as good as the gentleman who installed our floor. They mentioned prior to purchase that, while they had roughly a dozen or so carpet fitters, they only had one specialist wooden floor fitter. We learned he was off work sick and unavailable for quite some time when our relatives used them. United Carpets and Beds did find a contractor who was equally as capable, and our relatives are as happy as we were with the result. On one hand, it’s immensely reassuring to know the business won’t employ “just anyone” to undertake work but you may need to wait. From experience, we believe it’s worth the patience to be confident the job is done to the best standard possible. We will be using United Carpets and Beds again and would confidently recommend them.

Sooooo much selection... Staff are so helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we had a date and time for fitting that suited us. They also sell bed's, we weren't buying a bed but had a quick look around them and will definitely go there when we're in the market for a new one. Can't recommend this place enough. Go give them a go you won't be disappointed.
