Such a useful shop for me being close by and selling a wide variety of RC and model parts as well as full kits. They have great prices meaning I am always using them for my RC aircraft. The staff are very helpful and extremely friendly.

I have been buying models, equipment and materials from Steve Webb ever since he opened in the late 80s. Steve and the staff know everything about the products that they sell and are a great source of information and help. The products are all 1st class and, unlike cheaper versions from China, are fully guaranteed by Steve. The shop in Frodsham is an aladins cave of wonderful items and is everything that a traditional model shop should be.

Top shop, great team working there who genuinely love the hobby, be it RC or crafting. I've been going there since the mid 90s, and remarkably at least two of the staff are still there - one of whom I raced agaijst using a Tamiya 1/10th RC at Frodsham community Hall in the later 90s... he lapped me several times each race, each week... Stock for flight based RC is exceptional, along with the guidance the team can give - the guidance is true for all RC hobby categories. Often, I'll go in specifically for a rattle can of polycarbonate spray and be suprised at the range of Tamiya RC there - some older kits that are real hard to find items, and other new releases. Road based RC "hop ups" are less well served, better focus on kits and paints. Whilst there I'll always without fail find at least 1 other person in there having an in depth chat about a specific query, or helping to diagnose a fault. Parking is easy, use the Frodsham eddisbury Square car park, it's free. Train access is also easy, 2mins from Frodsham Station. Not many of these shops about now everyone, highly reccomend to pay the ream a visit, even if just to take a young one there to have a look at what's available in the RC world.

Fantastic service as ever. Ordered a number of small aeromodelling items at 3pm friday, and they came by 9.30 am saturday. The packaging was a state of art in itself. When you go to the shop, you always get friendly and knowledgeable service. Happy new year lads and lady.

Purchased 2 sets of floats one was found damaged inside sealed box. They had been extremely well packed. The shop could not have known they had a defect from the manufacturer. However when contacted via personal message on fb they responded straight away. No need to send the damaged back photos were all that we sent. Without delay replacement floats were sent out. There are not many mail order companies now which retain the personal care. We got follow up phone calls and felt valued. Thank you for being there and your due diligence in providing confidence in you. We have put down as our model supplier. We had been with Sussex and Pegasus after let downs and dreadful service we are so glad to have found you guys. Thanks for restoring our faith keep up the fantastic service.

Staff are awesome. Only had one faulty air wolf cheep rc helicopter and they gave me a refund. I spent the money on something else in there shop. They get the parts you need if Yr like me and crash Yr helicopters a lot. Very good at giving advice and Yr always greeted with a smile and hello. I haven't found a better model shop and I travel a lot.

Can't believe that it costs £8.95 to send a 1 metre roll of Solarfilm within the UK I should have been more on the ball than that this is what happens when all the local Model shops go. Steve Machin York ok spoken today to the store and they have kindly explained that the postage is initially calculated on the basis of the length of the item. Staff hand pick the roll and then physically repack it which results in a much reduced cost. All cleared up no issues maybe the software could be tweaked to reflect this ..

Used to come hear as a child with my Dad, who knew Steve. Recently moved into the area and as I fly mini quads FPV thought it would be ideal. Unfortunately, not very good for small racing quads/spares. Shop is ideal for more mainstream aircraft and RC cars. Inquired a few different times over various parts anyone in the mini/racing quad space would know about, but unfortunately unable to help. However, staff friendly and try to help...guess it's just not setup for quad bits.

Great shop absolutely loaded with everything you could possibly need for RC aero modelling, and they also cover some cars. Both floors loaded floor to ceiling with things, even a couple of museum display cases that made me smile as I still use the Futaba transmitters featured. The guys in here are super helpful and on the one visit I got everything I needed and they gave me options too. Prices are keen even better than buying from the same place on eBay (guessing that's due to post costs) Well worth a visit. Parking is in the little set back carpark surrounded by shops and Steve's is 20 meters further up the hill.
