Reviews of Badgers Books

This is one of the sort of second-hand bookshops that I delight in finding. It is located down a side street at the western end of the centre of Worthing. There are several rooms crammed full and they include recently published books as well as older classics. I bought the auto-biography of James Lovelock, the climate scientist who formulated the Gaia hypothesis of the earth as a self-regulating organism. I particularly noted the excellent section of biographies as well as British history. The sci-fi section had many of the classics and, as with many such shops, there was a good selection of really cheap books on display outside.

Lovely second hand book shop, with both bargain paperbacks and collectible/antique books to browse and buy. Friendly staff, too. A book lover's heaven! A particularly good poetry selection, and lots of non-fiction topics to browse as well.

Excellent old bookshop with many classics for all ages. Looking for something for my grandkids I was pleased to see many of the books I was reading 65+ years ago, and in good condition. A rare pleasure to browse here

Great collection of 2nd hand books. A tad expensive for second hand books which was a little surprising. The owner/managers are welcoming, but can't give specifics of the books they do and don't have. But you'll have free run of the place to search for what you may want. Give it a go, you may be surprised by the quantity of books available.

A traditional second hand book cave with many odd and interesting volumes. The prices are quite reasonable too.

This is a fantastic bookshop with an intriguing and varied stock, ranging from fiction, crime, sci-fi, childrens to non-fiction, history, nature, hobbies and more. Particularly good if you're looking for a more unusual literary gift
