Amazing crepes. We tried pistachio and white chocolate crepe for sweet version and spiced pumpkin crepe for savoury version. We relished every bite. Looking forward to visit again soon 😀 It's located in shambles Market. Must street food to try in York

Amazing, unique taste of crepes and galettes. I recommend to try galettes if you want to be blown away. It is value for money so make sure to leave something in tip jar. I wish I could be in York more often but whenever I am there, I always end up in this place

Saw this place after watching Top Jaw review it on one of their YouTube videos. Got to say, this is the best galette I’ve ever had, and that includes the ones I’ve had in France. I went for the ham and cheese ‘Complet’ option and it was incredible. Taken a normal galette and upped the game with extra dijon mayo, extra ingredients so its nice and packed out with ham and cheese, then an epic crust on the pancake itself. One of the most memorable things we ate during our trip to York!

We loved this place. We visited York for a couple of days and went there twice. Unfortunately I'm missing the first photo of my Galette and only have a photo of the crepe. Both tasted great. The Galette was my savory option so the next day I thought I'd go for the sweet one. Lovely friendly staff. I wish they had this place in London. Definitely recommend.

The best sandwich I could find in town spicily the chicken one , the juice was very good and I recommend it with your sandwich, the staff is very helpful and nice, it is a little bit crowded sometimes but it doesn’t take time to get your order , there is a nice area to site down and enjoy next to the shop , prices are good for value. Finally, it is the best and you should give it a go

As someone following a gluten free diet I don’t often get to enjoy foods like this. I was thrilled with our choice to stop at KREP. Beautiful choice of fillings, friendly service and it’s really cool to watch the food being prepared. Lots of options for meat/meat free/sweet and savoury. The price may seem on the high side until you get your KREP in your hands, it’s large and satisfying so don’t mistake it for a snack! Bonus - can be eaten one handed whilst looking after a baby.

This is located in an outdoor foodcourt, just off the Shambles. There was a bit of a wait as we arrived at peak lunch time but the mushroom and truffle pancake was delicious and worth the wait.

Had the Mushroom Gallette, was the BEST Gallette I have had (even including ones I have had in France). I liked the double cone packaging so that you don't make a mess when you are nearly at the end. Would reccomend, loads of filling and good value for money

My friends love this place. I tried it yesterday, I had 'le chou' which is vegan and delicious. The coffee was also excellent. Service is friendly and fast and the location in Shambles Market is great. I will definitely go there again.

I wouldn't call it necessarily a traditional galette that you would find in Brittany - it's actually tastier. It's cooked with a heap of delicious cheese and butter to an incredibly crisp texture. Exceptional.

I bet you’ll love the el bete KREP! It was almost banh mi inspired, very nice flavor and texture explosions. My first savory crepe experience was a hit and well worth the walk in the rain to get it.

The girls and guys are friendly the food is amazing I don't understand why people would waste their money on a McDonald's when there's this place on their doorstep. Would highly recommend a visit if you're ever in York walking round the shambles Market, the names of the krepes should be Yorkshire friendly tho, still think I sound silly trying to pronounce them lol.

Brilliant, amazing! My wife and I both had galettes at lunch. My chicken was particularly amazing. I've had crêpes/galettes in Nice and in Paris. My one here was significantly better than those! Genuinely delicious. At £7 it's hardly cheap, but as a treat cannot recommend highly enough!! Loved it!

Absolutely sublime. Zero complaints, and dairy alternatives on offer for the coffee. Absolutely delicious. I have tried the 'complet' - ham and egg (with added bacon), 'Roti' - grilled chicken in a lemon aioli. Just tried the 'La Bete' - slow cooked pork shoulder with dijon mayo. Perfect texture, and a perfect size to fill you. No need for desert!!

My grandson and I visited York for two days . Sampled amazing crepes on day one and on day two we skipped breakfast so that we could sample another . Absolutely gorgeous....packed with various fillings sweet or savoury. Great value especially with the government scheme but well worth full price . Definitely coming back for more

Unfortunately there isn’t really a sweet vegan option. The crepes aren’t vegan but the galettes are. Galettes are more savoury and we were told they wouldn’t work with the lemon and sugar that we wanted. Ended up going for strawberry and chocolate which was really nice but would have liked just to have had a lemon and sugar vegan option.
