Excellent little model shop with a variety of well priced armour models! Also a good variety of tools and diorama supplies. Both staff I've met have been really kind and nice to talk to. Only thing that could improve the store is perhaps some music on in the background whilst browsing, adding a bit of ambience :) All in all though, excellent shop!

Excellent stock, very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff. Go above and beyond to deliver a great service. I rang Paul on Tuesday about a component, he made sure that one was taken to Scarborough for me to collect whilst day tripping (staying near York for our holidays). Gave me great advice last year too as my local model shop in Surrey don't quite have the same customer ethics. Thank you P&S.

Fantastic shop and fantastic experience from Paul. I enquired about a kit that I’ve been wanting and unfortunately he didn’t have it at the time. After communicating with me and letting me know I went on to buy the kit off Amazon for a considerably more than I would of liked however I was desperate for it. Paul then got back to me to let me know he had the kit. I then cancelled my amazon order and Paul got the kit to me for much less. I’m a very happy customer. Check out there shop it’s awesome it’s just down the road from Cliffords tower. They have a great range off stuff for all modellers and they are very fairly priced. Pop in even if you only spend a few quid and keep a good friend local model shop alive. Thanks Paul!!!

I've been meaning to visit P & S Hobbies for a while now and I'm glad I popped in today. The staff were very helpful and answered questions about products even though I wasn't able to purchase them at the time. They have a great range of models from a good number of manufacturers and also stock some remote control products. Prices are also really good, competing with and in my case beating online prices. Well worth a trip for anyone in the area with an interest in model making, I'll definitely be visiting many more times in the future.

I had an excellent experience dealing with Paul at P&S Hobbies. Paul took great pains to diagnose the issue with my MLGB decoder, trying extensively to repair it as a first course of action. After discovering it was irreparable, we agreed on an upgrade decoder which Paul installed at no extra cost. I was very impressed with the amount of time put into getting to the root of the problem, and training me on the ins and outs of digital control. I would have no hesitation in recommending P&S to anyone with bespoke G Scale, LGB or Massoth needs. Alex

I first came across this company while on holiday in Scarborough. They supply everything a modeler needs in so many different areas. They have railway items for those modelling in "O" scale (usually known as garden railways due to the size of the rolling stock ) as well as HO/OO scale,chiefly Bachmann items. Into raidio control models?, they have land/sea and air well and truly covered, everything from the models themselves to Contollers and spare parts. Plastic kits as well as balsa wood model kits are also available, a truly old fashioned model shop in every sense of the word. They have two shop's, one in York and the other in Scarborough, both served by an excellent website. Both shops have limited off street parking but pay and display car parķs available close by.
