Ideal for all shopping needs & fast food. Local vet, Birds bread/cakes always a favourite. Plenty of parking.

There's most convenience shops here. Fish and chips are great. Good portions. There's Post office and newsagents, a bookies and a Chinese I've never tried. The Coop is a good convenient store. However, I have issues with a lot of the staff there. I don't find them either friendly or helpful.

Oakwood district center comprises of a very nice modern and clean coop. A really good Chinese and the vets are very good also. Ample parking is available, rarely are there not enough spaces. It seems to be well maintained with little to no litter.

Great to nip to. Got what I needed. Social distance measures in the shops very good and clearly being carried out. Felt safe to shop. Easy to park with adequate spaces. Friendly staff in the shops I was able to visit. Would recommend 👍🙂 and visit again.

Overall the Oakwood district is a lovely little site. Fast food, coop, post office and other facilities like the pharmacy, dentists, eye test, pub and a church. Just across from that is a nice Park as well. Lovely area!

Only went to the post office, where the lovely lady on the counter was immensely helpful and very pleasant. I went to tax my son's car on a v62 form. She explained how this method was very hit and miss. She checked on the computer and found I'd got a miss. She explained what I should do next and even gave me the error code. 15 minutes later after a call to the dvla, all was sorted, thanks to her. The absolute 100% opposite to the cherry tree post office. They were no help whatsoever. Thank you lovely lady at oakwood post office.

Great little shopping precinct. Has pretty much all you need if you live in the local area. It's easy to walk or drive too and has a large car park that is always easy to find a space.

It is a shopping hub of all the things that you could want and a car park. Fish and chip shop is good, there are some teenagers that use it as a playground or meeting place, that is not a bad thing, just an observation. Local Coop, Chinese, betting shop, Go surgery etc

The district centre caters for all local need. The is a co-op, Specsavers, vets, couple of take out food shops, pharmacy, post office, Birds confectioner, betting shop and estate agent. On the other side of the centre there is an optometrist, dentist, two doctor's surgeries, nursery and a pub. The centre is also home to a Church. There are two ATMs both free to use.

This is a very handy precinct, with everything you could need: a post office, chip shop, off license, doctors, dentists, nursery, co-op, Birds, chemist, eye doctors, the Oak and Acorn Pub, a church and more, with plenty of car parking spaces you can always get a space.

Ok but could do with only one opticians and a proper cafe or coffee shop. Suffering with parking issues at the mo as approx 15 to 20 people using it as a park and ride to town for free!

Geared in favour of drivers over pedestrian's, impatient 4x4s are the usual culprits so keep alert, especially older folks who are less able to run for their lives. Basic shopping in 80s built parade with most essential's including a post office. Free parking.
