Clean, plenty of shops.staff at entrances to assist if needed.Toilet facilities kept very clean.A few of the shops have supply shortages but other than that all bright clean and plenty of time to walk around
P. B.
Not the best mall in Hull, looks dated these days. Still has some good shops inside though. There's a great Barber here 👍🏻
S. Q.
Its not what we expected. Small with few selection of stores. OK for a quick visit and lunch from nearby eateries. The drive over was nice though
k. b.
Small, however they have cex aswell as some shopping places, great for short cuts through town.
C. H.
Sad to see empty units in here, need to get some more good shops in here, it used to be a fab shopping centre.
J. P.
Use this place on a regular basis the number of different shop that are in there from Wilkinson to b&m to pound land as well Iceland and many more including food courts. The toilets have been regeneration but the cleaning of toilets could bee looked in to
D.
Still a good place to shop, with great ammenties, shops range from b and m to pep&co, yours clothing, many age ranges catered too
G. B.
Nice shopping centre good variety of stores and all under 1 roof lovely 👍
J. M.
As with all shopping in Hull...pretty poor this should not be allowed to happen. People won't come into a town centre if there's nothing to come for. Typical short sighted councils.....
A. C.
Best carwash in miles and always look forward to going. The guys on site are really helpful and friendly and the carwash dies a superb job.
R. J.
It's ok, good mixture of shops. Nicest toilets in the city centre
A. S.
Security staff need to calm down on mask wearing as well as cleaners who are out of their depth. People have hidden disabilities and conditions that highly affect their life. Including myself. Overall clean and nice atmosphere, toilets need more of a fresh scent!
C. M.
It's a good place but this time I just passed by
N. O.
Great place to find many stores like Iceland, pep, b&q etc
A. E.
The prospect center is small and convenient for shopping I don't like really big shopping centres the prospect centre has a low level shopping path and is good for buggies and wheelchairs. Shops are all well known Boots Willco and W.HSmith to name a few.
S. W.
A Great place to shop you can spend the day there
O. C.
It is what it is, good and varied shop offerings. Car park is a very tight and wouldn't recommend it for bigger cars.
M. P.
Reviewing high to help keep place open. City centres have big challenges. They working hard staying open for us all
P. W.
Hull is a nice town. We made it a stop off on our way from Leeds to Cleethorpes and so glad we did. Shopping was just one of the things to do in this impressive town. Lots of shops from designer to bargain basement but all needs catered for. Would visit again if on Humberside
m. c.
Typical mall withost everything in a clean and secure environment.
J. s.
Very empty these days but grown up in hull and always love this little shopping centre .
P. “. J.
Nice shopping centre but so expensive. There are Poundland as cheapest place
D. B.
Nice place, just had a walk round and got my hair cut
S. M.
We got a few things in the pound shop not really much choice especially for dogs so wasn't in long,we looked in a charity shop I bought some nice coasters from it we couldn't really look long as it was pretty busy there,I had a look in bonmarche but wasn't impressed with the items not for me and my style all the coats were pretty much the same.
L. D.
Good cheap parking for a Sunday, some okay shops
E. C.
Quite busy got what I wanted so shopping trip a success
A. C.
Love the variety of shops & a busy place which adds too the atmosphere
S. W.
Not what it used to be, plenty of shops but they're all bargain shops ect, but I suppose that's the way shopping has gone
S. C.
Going downhill fast, thanks to St'Stepens. Over marketing for a dying economy.
N. H.
Good all round shopping different outlets
A. D.
It's OK, as parking g is central but could do with upgrading the ticket meter to a card and coin like everywhere else.
C. J. F. H.
Most of what is needed inside from provisions to hardware and stationery. Fairly busy particularly on a weekend. Main concourse toilets under reconstruction but the food court toilets accessible.
S. H.
Its ok but could be improved
J. W.
Great shopping place much to do ,plenty of shops and choices ,
S. S.
Good place plenty of shops for everyone.
l. n.
Typical indoor shopping centre variety of shops, toilets and seating. Also a cafe
f.
Some of the time sales rep's are there trying to get my custom and can be quite annoying 🤔
J. “. H.
This is like the secret garden of shopping centres in Hull, a good amount of shops but I think the food hall has closed again?
D. H.
It wasn't too bad really. I got what I wanted from there!
Y. G.
Hull has three indoor shopping centres the Prospect centre is built on the site of the old Hull Royal infirmary and it is close to a large carpark and has toilet facilities. There are a great variety of shops within and in the immediate vicinity. Worth a visit before you walk about fifteen minutes to the St Stephens shopping centre which is a great venue for clothes shopping. There is a third option the Princess Quay shopping centre on three floors with fine dining venues in abundance overlooking the water in its locality.
a. p.
A few empty units and the upper food floor still closed but what's there provides a great variety of shops and services.
E. a. B.
It a aright shopping centre but could do with more clothes shops though
T. M.
Prospect centre is good a nice selection of shops and nice and clean
P. R.
Some good shops in here also has a multi storey car park which isn't too pricey there is also a good court on the top level with large seating area and several choices of eatery's.
G. W.
Like to shop here...much nicer than that cold horrible St Stephens ..where i dont feel like I'm in my home town.
j. f.
Only went in whsmirh but lots of shops inside
G. T.
Clean tidy lacks a venue or pulling point
m. c.
Was my favourite place. Boots chemist should never have been moved. It is pointless having a 'cheap shop' where Boots was and a 'cheap shop' just across the road. There is also a pound shop. If were not for Wilko, Iceland and Bon marche' I wouldnt go at all
G. D.
A few shops, and picked up easy bargains
N. B.
Good small shopping centre in Hull's city centre. It's very popular with the people of Hull. It also offers parking on the roof of the centre for those who travel by car. The vacant Boots store has been replaced by a B&M. Boots have moved to the nearby St Stephens shopping mall almost opposite Tesco's.
V. A.
In here all the time, shops great
M. E.
Great little shopping centre. Plenty of choice with its own carpark above.
I. B.
The usual retail hell. Too many empty underused units. No wonder nobody bothers to dhop in Hull city centre anymore. What a waste of busfares
K. B.
Reasonable choice of stores.
Open until 7pm most nights but the most of stores close earlier.
K. C.
All the shopping you could want under one roof, central as well
s. c.
Great place, well worth a visit
A. C.
Didn't have what we wanted and was waiting for orders to come in
S. D.
I have always enjoyed shopping in prospect center it was hull's first shopping center until princess quey shopping center and St Stephens came along hull only really needs one shopping centre and that's prospect really nice friendly staff in the shops in prospect centre
S. L.
A few good shops inside, parking a little tight for a big car but overall ok
l. k.
Great range of shops, really clean with polite and friendly staff throughout
k. W.
Great little Tick tick beans Cafe in the middle. Prices are amazing and food is lovely, great amounts and customer service skills of staff are excellent:)
R. C.
I rather like this shopping centre the couches are back to sit on
L. S.
The shopping centre was clean and tidy, multiple sanatising stations. Only problwm is the food court aea was shut off which meant only one toilet was open causing a few queues.
P. S. H.
Very nice place, toilets and plenty of shops with bargains, seats available and refreshments served.
M. T.
I visit here often and enjoy the stores that are inside but just has a dated feel to it. Not like modern shopping locations from other big cities.
G. w.
Some good shops but could do with more mainstream retailers as a lot are specialist shops, has good 2nd hand electrical stores for purchasing and repairs and good jewellers.
C. S.
It's good shopping for lots of things.
K. B.
Some great shops in here.
J. N.
Very good, in 3 shops and all enjoyed excellent service plus centre extremely clean.
G. M.
Prospect Centre is not new by far but the easing of the pandemic lockdown restrictions have breathed new life into the centre.
Well known shops, hairdressers etc., staffed by friendly and helpful staff.
J. W.
Fairly sizeable place with lots of different choices and variety of shops, there are a few floors with the second floor being for the food places and the third being for more entertainment as in an arcade and also a cinema. There is a good ammount of parking here too.
Nice and clean and there are also little places at either end of the place where you can get small bags to put your umbrellas in so that they don't drip on the floor
J. T.
the service there are very good
b. r.
Hull city centres original shopping arcade which has been overtaken by time and 2 other places more grander and more expansive. Princes Quay and St Stephen's offer more space and more choice for the shoppers. But this place still retains a kind of charm of its own, only one level, there is a food hall on a second level but in today's world I'm not sure how functional it is. The choice of shops is limited but still a varied choice. And again with the retail environment being what it is the Prospect Centre is not the ghost town that many high streets seem to be these days. Toilets are available with the usual facilities for people with babies, sanitiser is available on entry to the centre and cleaning staff are usually available. Guidelines are in place to accommodate the social distancing requirements. Not a jaw dropping shopping experience by any means but a few minutes of your time would not be waisted if you strolled through.
G. H.
Usual good variety of shops
Spoilt a bit by groups of youths just hanging around, contrary to covid direction
Could security guards have acted in a more proactive way ,dispersing,?
P. B.
Great place to shop with plenty of parking and food mall over take a look around
M. D.
What a nice place to shop.
Stumbled upon this by chance, very clean and tidy.
H. W.
A few good shops and has a light and airy feeling. Has lots to offer and was clean and well presented.
N. H.
Good place to shop plenty of parking handy location close to the centre wilco Iceland pound land are just a few of the shops there's a post office there too you can sit down for a coffee and a snack if going on holiday there's a money exchange too aswell as the post office nice and clean public toilets in side the centre
J. B.
Always find what I need ,although can't say the same for Warren James ,the jewelers ,I bought my friend earrings for her birthday a set of 3 ,the young girl was lovely ,can't say the same for the manager ,she told the assistant ,not me even though I was stood right in front of her that she could not swap that 1 pair of earrings because I needed to bring the full set in ,if it is,nt bad enough that a pair of earrings fall to pieces in front of you ,which I bought for my friend ,I go all the way to town in my own time ,not to mention petrol money ,to be told ask your friend for the other part of her present and bring it back how does that work ,no apologies from this woman ,just told the lovely girl then walked out ,no customer service ,did,nt want to make the young girl feel bad because she was lovely and much better at her job then the manager ,but now I,m peeved
K. M.
Great place to shop,
K. “. H.
Good shopping centre. There's a nice eatery selection on the top deck for your Fast food needs. Glass roof makes a pleasant atmosphere as you sit on a sunny day.
C. R.
One way system in place, with people ensuring you go the right direction. Hand sanitizing stations at each entrance which have always been full on multiple visits. Toilets back open too. Only issue is the sad looking empty shops, especially the big ex-Boots store
E. A.
More work is needed to done on prospect center. Thanks
K. O.
Prospect centre. Nice place to shop. Not very big. Jewelry shops. Phone shops. Clothes shops. Iceland. Wilkinson. And a large food court on the first floor. Lift or stairs. Also a car park on the top of the centre. Access via Brook Street. Stairs and a lift down it the middle of the centre.
M. A.
Lovely place to visit for specific shops and light shopping, just wish it had a bit more choice.
S. F.
Indoor multiple shoping Centre beautful jewellery open barbers even Whs Game and film entertainment all multiple shopping centre include Wilkinson's even Iceland as well fast food restaurant also Car park
G. H.
Plenty ov shops no designer shops ,was better when u could get food upstairs
J. A.
Lovelly atmosphere to shop in very clean. Cleaning is on going. Lots of various shops Boots chemist it you want refreshment there are various places on the first floor to satisfy most tastes. Access for disabled is very good, if you are able bodied there is an escalator. Parking is on the top floor so all in all everthing is contained.
K. M.
Bright, with a good choice of retailers
I. K.
Typical shopping mall in city centre. Higher proportion of retail units trading than some others in the city. Generally clean and felt safe.
A. H.
Good away of retail outlets though the one way system not adhered to by public and very few sanitised at the station designated.
k. s.
The center is good , but it's better not to do eyebrows in the salon Wink .I got messed up so I had to go to another master
g. h.
Very clean and friendly shops, I'm from Essex and spend quite a lot of time in Hull. And I'm impressed with the prospect shopping centre
a. m.
Miss the food Hall, it is lacking now
D. M.
Situated in the heart of the city, Prospect Shopping Centre has it all, from discount stores to perfume shops to jewellery and fashion. Even an eye brow bar and hair salon. Once all that shopping has you hungry, take the lift up to the food court and grab a bite to eat, its clean and spacious, with lots of seating, and dont worry they have parking too, for a reasonable fee
S. P.
Went to W H Smith,to the post office, staff very helpful.
D. M.
A good shopping centre still good choice of shops and not over busy plenty of parking
K. H.
Plenty of shops from game's to food
O. O. (.
A big contrast with st Stephen's Shopping mall on the other side. Not many shopping like it used to be, but for people who loves a quiet shopping experience, prospect centre is still very relevant today. I love the transition towards a local market kind of experience .
A. G.
I love prospect centre, it always seem very clean, well laid out, and easy to navigate.
I enjoy prospect centre much more the st Stephens, I love the food court there and again always seem well looked after and clean, despite the fact that customers are often seen leaving a pile of rubbish in their table, even when sat next to a bin!
There are a lot of shop in prospect, all varied and all in quite close proximity to each other too.
M. S.
I reccomend to anyone visiting Hull to shop here.
S.
Plenty of choice for places to shop, and places to eat. Also a very well kept area for kids and seating for all. Car park is very close by with plenty of disabled parking. Good shopping centre for a day out. One of three large shopping centres in hull so well placed
L. S.
Decent shop selection, nothing amazing.
Upstairs has a Burger King and some other independent or small chains where you can eat in a little court. It's usually dirty and the service in the independent places is slow, Burger King is normally alright.
Toilets are a bit run down last time I went. There wasn't a lock on one of the cubicles and someone was dragged out of the toilet by security.
Overall it's decent for cheap shops like Wilkos and Iceland, also had a decent sized Game.
R. A.
Good selection of shops and has an upstairs food court. Hardly ever any empty units. Built in the 1970s but a pleasant and popular place. Used to be the site of the old Hull Royal Infirmary.
D. H.
A place to browse, something for every one. If you are looking for something special for that certain someone in your life there is plenty to choose from. Jewellery, books, clothing or something a little different its all here under one roof and if you get peckish while looking then pop upstairs to the food court where there is everything to satisfy the biggest appetite.
S. B.
Good selection of shops and eateries all under one roof
S. W.
Fantastic when everything you need is in the same shopping centre
D. S.
Was that close to buying 3 different watches, but I'm not going to be able to justify it. When I've got loads of watches, just need link's putting in. Was just the fact I didn't have one on, as I sent my Armani watch off yesterday.
B. L. (.
Nice variety of shops and the food court is great for groups who want different meals and can still sit together. The car park is kinda tight so wouldn't recommend if you have a big or long vehicle.
P. W.
Often in and out of here it's fine selection of shops as expected
J. H.
Lovely place but sadly most shops have closed
d. d.
Seems to be keeping busy enough for shops to remain open even during lockdowns. Not a great variety of shops but a good selection non the less.
G. C.
Since the closure of Boots, one of the largest stores in the centre, there's only a relatively small number of shops to attract customers. Like all shopping centres, Prospect Centre is a shadow of its former self comparing with how things used to be just a few years ago.
P. W.
It's not usually as busy as St Stephens and Princes Quay, of course it is smaller
S. J.
We shop in the prospect centre every week there is a good selection of shops and the centre is spotless the cleaning staff do a fantastic job and the security men are very helpful and a great big thank you to Scot who always asks me if I am OK and if I need help as I am disabled ,it's very reassuring to know help is there should I need it I feel safe in the prospect centre
M. U.
Good selection of shops, nice and clean and the loos are too...!
N. O.
Perfect for a few bargains
D.
Food court is closed and its a lot of supermarkety-shops. Alright for wander with the kids i guess but buy a milkshake and dip tbh
R. H.
This place has been brought back to life since another shopping centre opened nearby, which has pulled the crowd of shoppers over this way and the food court that was closed for years has been reopened on the upper floor with a variety of options available (I recommend the Mexican wraps). It also has several entry/exit points on all directions making it an ideal place to park if you come by car
S. W.
Great variety of stores
b. a. m.
The prospect center is ok but is looking a little old and sometimes the lift to the food hall is not working. The toilets are fine but also looking tried it was disable toilet you need raleigh key to get into them. You can ask for someone to open them from the staff if you do not have a key. The food hall is ok and not to experience. Look on web site for shops as some are closing!
G. S.
Went to the food court here with friend, omg the food was horrendous, my friend was at the counter i had a burnt panini and so did her son, one of the staff where very rude, we did go near the end but still should have been cooked properly. It was the end food counter avoid at all costs, you be better of in McDonald's and have something from pound saver menu, cheaper and better tasting.
A. N.
Plenty of different shops
J. M.
Once Hull's premier indoor shopping experience, now a shadow of it's former self. Once Boots moved out it's overall appeal has approximately halved.
A. H.
This shopping centre has picked up unlike the rest of Hull Town centre it seems to be thriving at the moment with a good mix of shops, most are reasonably priced, there's something for everyone but sad to hear the boots is moving into St Stephens, personally I think it's a mistake to move from this central position!
a. h.
It's a indoor shopping centre with various shops and a food court at the top. Good for local residents, nothing you'd want to travel any great distance for. There's decent parking but it's a nightmare trying to get out on busy days.
W. A.
really nice place to shop
J. S.
One of the oldest shopping centres in central Hull, has a reasonable range of stores. The centre feels a little cramped by comparison with the other major city shopping centres but is otherwise clean tidy and we'll presented.
S. M.
It looks very dated and rundown . If you are on a lower budget . This would be a good place to shop
r. w.
Some nice retail outlets
S. A.
Clean and tidy not to crowded, staff in the shops fabulous
C. D.
This was the first shopping centre built in the centre of Hull. The shopping centre was built in the early 1970s and is showing its age now. Most of the big retailers have moved to the new more modern shopping centres in Hull leaving behind computer games exchange shops and the like. The biggest downside is that there is no car park. On the plus side it is virtually opposite the transport interchange.
S. B.
First time been in the centre for a year well organised with things for distancing etc with the covid really put my mind at rest as i was worried about entering the shopping centre x
S. “. K.
Great little family shoping centre in hull me and my daughter had a wonderful experience in hull.
I. P.
Great shopping center, Alot of various shops within and really convenient
a. t.
Prospect centre still has some good shops in there, even though it's been around for a good few years now, Wh smiths, boots. Wilko's, the food court has been updated. The parking is adequate but getting out onto Brook Street can be tricky, one thing to note though is the floor can be very slippy when it's wet outside. So take care.
S. S. W.
The food court is nothing special the floor is oftwr so dirty its sticky tables more often than not are left unclean and they have now stopped their student discount in food vourt. Also the tanoy isnt connected to the main system so any important announcements heard downstairs are not heard upstairs. Reasonable selection of shops.
Ķ. R.
Love the different shops and the cleanliness of the centre is excellent. One downsize is the lack of toilets. Should have been closed for 8 weeks that has passed and still not opened. This is poor for a major centre.
N. P.
Good shops shame about the shop lifters running around
M. R.
Plenty of variety in the shops. However toilets need more attention especially during Covid. Also feel masks should be enforced more
G. B.
Didn't get much time to look thoroughly as we had to be at Hull Truck theatre
I. A. R.
Nice friendly place nice and clean got handsanitisers everywhere plenty of shops to go into
R. H.
Lots of goodies in this place
M. S.
Great place to shop in Hull
N. U.
Has a very good selection of shops but a few empty ones hopefully theyll fill them up at the opposite end of Gregg's etc. Can be crowded at weekends but it's better than orchard parks center which was going to be the same but turned out it wasn't.
J.
Better than princes quay
g. d.
Clean and tidy clear of bag head's mostly. Great toilet's if you need to go.
D. H.
Just a regular shopping center, has a Wilkos, Iceland, money exchange and other shops you'd expect.
D. P.
OK but looking tired and old fashioned ok for cheap cheerful stores pound shops abundant.
B. W.
A good variety of shops and decent food hall carpark could be better signposted it was confusing finding the access to shops but other than that it does well to keep going considering there are another couple of shopping centres in hull
P. M.
Car parking Ticket machine not working had to have correct change had to go to kiosk near exit
I. w. C. C.
Plenty of shops to go to .
M. T. A.
Its good for quick shopping but expensive. A couple affordable shops also here. Multiple enterences and wheelchair access is also available here. Near to bus and train stations. Should have some more quick bite corners.
C. L.
Its good but could do with more shops
B.
I did not need really wheelchair when we asked for but it was not acceptable to hear that shopping centre does not have such things to help when someone need to be assisted.
But about construction, it is much better than that ugly, in and out, monster, St Stephen.
Y. M.
Went got birthday angel pin date born one for me other my friend in Jan lives usa
D. S.
Best Santa I have ever seen, my children are all grown up , so I visit with the grandchildren. Value for money £4 per child or £10 for 3 children. He gave all the time in the world to the children. They were not rushed during their visit. He spoke about toys, pets, films, holidays even saying when he and mrs Claus last had their holiday. He has family photos up the grandchildren loved the one of the reindeer . They learnt all their names and some of the new reindeers names. They learnt why rudolph is at the front what his red moise helps with. The bells on his boot and sleeves made the children smile and they learnt how special they were. There are a few little magical things in the visit especially when he goes in his sack ti get out the gift for the child. My granddaughter loved that little part. You take your own photos of the visit which is another added bonus so no extra cost to buy the photos to remember their visit to Santa.
m. t. c.
Three stars because the public toilets are disgusting, as in, at least three are always leaking or broken, toilet paper dispensers are not fit for purpose, the paper is dispensed from a small hole which, if paper pulled quickly it tears and one has to use paper hanky tissues otherwise..... The hand driers are lukewarm. To get to the ladies one has to pass the gents, the smell is enough to make one sick. The hooks to hang a coat or jacket, or bag are broken meaning one keeps their coat on and puts bag on floor hoping not to wet the bottom if the floor is wet. The rest of the Prospect centre is nice. Ah, for some reason the wooden benches for the public have been removed and replaced with small, pale grey sofas made of material. How long will it be before they are covered with food stains, chocolate, kids climbing with dirty shoes. NO NO NO
a. g.
Very clean and toilets spotless stores are open some of them still a warm place
M. W.
Ok shops and centre did all the good given the pandemic but the people did not follow guidelines etc. Shops aren't bad I always like a mooch round in hear.
M. A.
Not as many shops as I was expecting. Still some good shops to have a look round though. The food court is interesting if you like fast food
A. H.
Prospect has a good selection of shops, always clean
P. W.
Go here quiet often, Game been my main shop, also wilko's, body care. Whsmiths. Good centre .
K. N.
Great choice atmosphere
M. G. Y.
It's an old dated shopping centre but what I like about it, well it seems they are trying to inject some life into it. It seems a shame curry's moved as it has left a big void in the shopping centre but there's a game, a cex, a boots and also a Wilkinsons, a Clintons cards.. It has something for everyone I feel and considering its size, it does feel like it's punching above its weight. There's a food court upstairs but don't expect great food, burger king and cheap fatty foods.. Shame as I feel the space could be used so much better especially since they've given it a make over..
Worth popping in if your in Hull tho.. It also has a large w h smiths which is always handy!!!
g. j.
Nice place to shop ,most items under one roof so very convenient, nothing to fault, all good.
G. M.
A nice little shopping centre. If you're tired from all the walking around, carry shopping bags...why not try out the massage chair for a quid? 5 minutes of stress relief massage!
L. A. R.
Great place to shop
M. S.
Rumour has it that Prospect Centre is built on the grounds of an old children's hospital and that before opening, cleaners have heard the cry of a baby.
During the day however it's mostly filled with plebs. Shops have come and gone apart from a few stalwarts. The food court is dying a death. The whole place is past it really.
E. W.
Lots of parking, and some useful shops.
The whole place shuts at 6 including the food court which can be inconvenient. Not as modern as stated Stephens across the road but has some practical shops.
M. D.
NOT BAD, QUITE A GOOD Range of Shops, Apart from the only, place that You can pay youf T. V LICENCE IS IN THE LITTLE 🏪SHOP OUTSIDE!!! IT'S OK, BUT WHEELCHAIR ACCESS IS A BIT OF A SQUEEZE 👎🤔🙁🙁
N. O.
Nice place to shop for all your needs.
L. B.
Hostile and busy, with over zealous security guards. I'm fed up of being followed around while trying to do my Christmas shopping!! I earn more than the full security team do for goodness sake, but I am followed because of the way I look.
M. O.
I love this shopping center, the shops and facilities are great and the staff here are always on hand to help if needed. With a good selection of shops i am sure there is something here for everyone. Locally situated in the center if Hull and all under roof this is an ideal place to shop and with shops ranging from a pound shop to H Samuel's jewelers I am sure there is a shop for everyone. I rate this 4 stars for only one reason and that is the shadow cast by tje much larger shopping centers that have opened in Hull. Proslect Center is a well known and trusted part if Hull life and offers a great shopping experience for everyone. I highly recommend a vusit here.
M. Y. S.
Very nice shopping centre. Ample multistory parking.
S. H.
Clean and tidy with Sufficient Shops.
P. M.
One of the old shopping centres that just keeps going. Has had many ups and downs over the years but still going strong. A selection of high street names. Including a post office. Parking available on site at reasonable rates.
J. A.
Great stores that need to stay like Game, Eskimoo, CEX etc., but it needs all the empty spaces filling with NEW AND INTERESTING STORES
W. S.
First time that I have been here in many years as I don't go shopping into Hull city centre as it's to big for me to get about as I walk on 2 arm crutches, so unless my husband or my son are with me & can lift my mobility scooter out of the car I don't go there.
D. B.
Nice and tidy with all your general shops such as poundland, Wilkos, boots, game and Cex as well as more. Has a nice open plan food court with a number of different options upstairs
J. S.
Shopping centre in the middle of town. There are three exits onto the street, and a car park (presumably with a small fee). There are plenty of varied shops including homeware stores, discount stores, electronics, boots pharmacy, a WHSmith with a post office among others. The cheapest of the three main shopping centres.
M. H.
Went shopping here today in goldsmiths and the service was excellent. Had the help of Scott from security and felt safe taking my purchases to the car. Fantastic customer service Scott, thank you
D. B.
I go ther to get my hair cut 4.99 for a cut they are very good aswell eny body going to the prospect center lady or gents same price I would recommend for both
L. D.
Clean and well marked out so we can shop safely in the current pandemic.
M. H.
Able to park with ease. Just "normal" shops in here but you can walk easily to St Stpehens and town as it's right in the middle of the city
L. M.
It's a good place to shop & the food hall upstairs is good
K. D.
The Stalwart of the city centre. Although dated it is always busy, good variety of shops and close in proximity to other centers and the rest of the city. Good parking facilities. Food court isn't very nice
s.
Quite a good shopping centre with a good range of shops. Well thought out and a nice clean shopping environment.
R. T.
Tucked away behind other retail areas and easy to miss, but just off Ferensway, the Prospect Shopping Centre has a good mix of retail shops over two levels.
V. B.
Good number of shops able to cater for most needs except high fashion. Would give five stars if the centre's management got rid of the awful muzak.
J. D.
Good shops, pleasant loos, very compact to get round
M. W.
Yea not bad little shoping center bnm wilko clean Iceland aswell as whsmiths and others
D. E.
This shopping centre is conveniently located in the heart of the city centre and easy to get to. It always seems clean and tidy and has a variety of shops.
6. i.
The centre is very well laid out with plenty of facilities such as toilets and disabled access, including on-site parking. (Although it does cost) Very well maintained and constantly kept clean.
C. C.
One way system generally good bur doesn't allow easy access to Wilkinsons, so people going 'wrong' way to save the extra walk.
G.
Good.
L. A.
Not what it used to be.too many pop up stands and no visable security officers , also one of the pop up stands was just full of kids screaming.. not something i want to listnen too. Nor do nany other shoppers
R. O.
Just the same as any other shopping centre but on a smaller scale clean tidy big variety of shops pleasant to walk around seats for everyone to relax watch the world go by ok
L. S.
This centre was the first before princess quey and st Stephen's, this is the old faithful I like best.
J. T.
I like it, small compact shopping centre, with a good selection of shops and places to eat, in a pleasant setting. Lots of art work on walls.
S. T.
I don't live in the area. And last visited before this weekend, one year ago. It's much improved with a nice variety of shops and food outlets
J. L.
Have you ever been in Prospect Centre Of that's a no ,then you must pop in and have a look round . There's a pound shop , jewellers , Boots the Chemist . Mobile phone shop. Lots of clothing shops . Wilkinson, plenty of eateries and cafeterias and much much more .
E. L.
With clean facilities, well laid out for wheelchairs etc and well established shops makes for a pleasant and easy shop. There is an under used food court upstairs too.
R. R.
It's OK, most of the shops have moved, what else is there to say?
I. s.
It was ok, had the usual items , although the same area is packed with different other stores , so what you don't find in 1 , you see in the other
a. w.
Nice centre better than st Stephen's center
D. G.
Plenty of shops to choose from all under one roof.
H. S.
A nice distribution of shops, and a large food hall upstairs. I've been through early morning and seen the friendly staff they have cleaning and maintaining the area.
P. R.
Great place to shop
M. R.
Handy little centre which I thankfully don't find overpowering The Wilkinson store is especially useful with it's vast range of reasonably priced products
L.
Not too busy, all clean
J. P.
Great place put the toilets are essential though the covid as people need to go even on medical grounds
A. T.
A few nice shops here, also a nice food court upstairs, with a choice of fast food outlets. And there is a multi story car park.
P.
The original shopping mall, I grew up going to this place, I remember seeing the food court going in, then the whole princess quay scenario happening, a floating shopping mall! Prospect centre was now a forgotten place, I still manage to use it though, batteries from quid shop and cutting through WH Smith's, Smith's is long gone now but prospect centre is still there, quid shop, Dixon's is there Boots, Perfume shop, it's the only place ya can get early learning centre goods for ya rug rats and who could forget Game, CEX, Discount Book Store, pay as ya view (pay forever and over the odds for) and golden moments at H Samuel jewellers 👍 so make your own mind up 👏
J. T.
Good for all things clean and ♿ accordingly
m. m. a. d.
All I can say is massage chairs £1 for 5 minutes perfect for the man while the Mrs visits the many cloths shops and perfume shops and jewelers
T. C.
A lot of what you need all in one space and it's not freezing cold to walk around in
B. M.
Nothing to fuss about. But at least almost all spaces are in use. Clean, variety of shops, plus post office, exchange /western union, etc
K. T.
Good selection of stores, including Iceland, Game, wilkos, WH Smith's and boots among others. Also has a food court upstairs serving a selection of different foods
R. H.
Needs an injection of new shops and cafes
A. H.
Good range of "reasonably priced shops". Toilets in good shape (can only vouch for the men's). Post office in WH Smith useful.
p. w.
Convenient parking in the middle of the town centre £2 for a few hours
F. M.
A typical round of the mill shopping centre. Very clean, pleasant atmosphere, a wide variety of shops and an ok food court at the top for all that important re-charge during shopping.
A.
Useful shops in hear i suppose but nothing more than what's already available in St Stephens and Princes Quay, I think this could be utilised to be much more than what it is right now.
S. B.
Great place for shopping or walk around window shopping on a rainy day, under cover shopping precinct with parking, disabled bays, lifts, near to Hull city centre, we went to wings International restaurant a few mins away, had a great day out.
K. D.
I Like prospect shopping centre. Everything you need in one place. Could be more clothes shops..so everyone doesn't have to go to that freezing cold st Stephens shopping centre
M. F.
Good place to shop
T. H. P. M.
Nice venue but no covid proyection anywhere in concourse.
T. I. e.
Good range of shops plus free toilets
A. C.
Old and needs a revamp. However has a few good stores. The food court needs cleaning up through. Very tatty.
E. B.
This is a good place to go if you want to spend a couple of hours shopping as a family. If you have any questions leave them below and i will try and reply to them
A. F.
Plenty to do and shopping for any and every one. Eating places are average. Large space and lots of ground to cover, not recommended for elderly that struggle to walk.
K. H.
Good shops but the food court could do with revitalising, half where closed and the others were only running a small portion of their menu.
N. T.
Good shops and overpriced shops. Tesco's is ideal
D. M.
Plenty of shops just a bit too busy for me.
J. H.
Very quiet in there, got what we needed.
M. P.
Been going to this place since it opened still my fav place to go happy memories past present and hopefully future happy days
J. R.
Probably the 3rd beat shopping complex in town centre behind St Stephens and Princess Quay. .
There's still the odd shops make it worth visiting and good for games with game and one of those sell/buy game stores.
A. S.
It's a little bit smaller than some of the other big shopping centres in hull but has a great food court upstairs with a different vairtie of food
J. Y.
I didn't shop here today but usually do as it's all indoors and has a great variety of shops
m. f.
I always use prospect centre it's easy to get round and I use 4 of the shops on a regular basis
D.
Decent amount of shops and good place if you just wanna be quick in and out
A. A.
As shopping centres go this one is one of the smaller ones, pretty basic but clean and tidy. A few high street names along with a few independents.
K. G.
Not how it used to be but quite a buzzy atmosphere considering lockdown restrictions.
T. H.
Oldest shopping center in the city. It has been updated and moved with the times. Smaller than the moden centers, but it has a the best food court in the city.
C. W.
Small, compact but has all the shops you want. Ideal if you haven't a lot of time to be wandering about between shops
D. C.
Not the biggest shopping centre you'll visit and Boots was a huge loss to the centre however still worth a walk around.
L. C.
Could do with updating and a better selection of shops really, also fix the lifts! Not very accessible for wheelchair users or prams
L. S. (.
A bang average shopping centre but it does the job well enough.
R. M.
Wilko is a good shop, there is also a large Boots store and a Post Office. Range of other stores. We always park in the prospect car park at weekends

Great little shopping centre for those wanting all the budget markets and more in one place. Convenient car park aswell. Brilliant.

Clean, clear guidance in place, the one-way system is a bit of a trek, but entirely reasonable and sensible.
Z. D.
A bit dated now, but has some unique shop units as well as high Street, eclectic mix.
R. B.
A cozy place to do your shopping, warm in the winter season, cool in summer. Gets a bit crowded on the weekends, but nothing too bad
