It is still a work in progress after the fire back in 2019, and as such, it can be unattractive in places, but it is getting there slowly. The new customer amenities opened last week, and the urinals in gent’s toilets have been out of use from day one.
On the bright side, apart from the big chain stores like ASDA, TK Maxx, Sports Direct, Blue Inc., etc., there are some new small, independent businesses which is good to see, and I wish them all to make it big soon.
B. F.
Im new in the area and just starting to find my way around, everybody is very frendly and welcoming, the local chip shop only take cash ,haha,,,,no twenty four hour shop within walking distance so im struggling to do my part,,,,,,, the local pub seems great ,,,,,,,,,got a beer and a glass of something for the lady and never got a note change from a score so we never got drunk ,,,pity,,,,,,
K. W.
Waiting for more shops to be opened next year. So far, the refurbishment looks ok.
P. L.
Lovely stalls for fresh fruit and vegetables. Good variety and value for money. Works out much cheaper than a supermarket, so very good for those on a tight budget, a family to feed or vegetarians. Lots of other interesting stalls and shops as well. Very close to Walthamstow tube and bus station

Security made me feel like I had to check that I was at the right address, but they were friendly enough.
Inside the reception greetings were welcoming, decor immaculate, staff efficient. Food excellent! Worth it!
G. Z.
I just love it. It's clean and nice. Nice clothes you can find there and good food.
C. C.
Not too big, however, the shops and layout were very nice, there was a subway, newlook, tkmaxx and more
J.
Nice and quiet shopping centre should have more selection of stores as now most if them are even close.

I visited on quiet Friday afternoon to pick up an item from an office within the mall, it was my first time visiting this shopping centre and my first impression was "this place is clean". There are numbers of high street stores like TK Maxx, Boots, Costa Coffee etc and makes this mall a convenient place to shop for your day-to-day necessities with plenty of groceries stores outside in the market.
p. s.
This place used to be good bit in recent years its gone a bit downhill, still very clean and tidy but not much else. Good if you're looking to find copyright infringing merchandise or trade in some games at cex, but that's about it.
L. H.
Great little Costa in the convenient shopping Mall all your usuals available and a very comfortable seating area (with nice soft sofas and armchairs) and lots of space between seating areas. Staff were helpful and friendly when I visited in April. Would visit again when in the area.
W. K.
Good selection of shops all under one roof as well as a great height street for shopping and a market.
T. C.
There is some great shops in the mall from asda to tkmax card factory clothes shops and phone shops, shoe shops ECT their is shops for everyone even a pop up job centre hun now in the mall for people to use the only down side to get to the toilets you have to go back to the main entrance and go near costa coffee and go like a maze just to get to the toilets so if your desperate for the loo be very quick or could have accidents they need to make another part of the building for loos like they had before
L. W.
Always get a great range of fish. Really fresh and enjoy trying new things from here.
M. B.
The mall Walthamstow has all basic needs shops. From clothing(@ T K max choice & jd sports) to jewellery, shoes(Diechman,Clarke & others) to books, herbal products at Holland and Barrett to bargain of gadgets at cex. And there are some in the middle
A. D. V.
Very nice place, you can find anything you need. Is a complete Mall
C. G. (.
Good clean market, where you can get all kinds of food from all parts of the world. You won't be disappointed and the prices are not bad too.
L. K.
I have been here when It was a very hot day, so I needed out of the sweltering sun, I think this place has some really cool products, I would by the whole shops worth of stock if I had like a big enough house, that's how much I really like all their products, I think it's a really cool place!
A. N.
Nice mall but not whell managed.....
M. G.
The Mall is in the middle of a refurbishment, it needs more shops and expanding this would make It a much
better shopping experience for everyone.
J. M.
Could do better... better shops... and restaurants area to be restored
H. J. S.
It's small but have every branch of different brand
F. M. M.
Nice shopping centre but I went to get my eye appointment
V. L.
This mall is family friendly. I like that there are new shops now and Boots got bigger. Since Pret a Manger opened I think more people are visiting the shopping centre.
u. c.
A wanderfull shopping experience in a clean friendly and organised environment
I would recommend it to everyone.
J. W.
Decent Mall with lots of different shops, would be good to see some more shops in there as lots of units are empty. Has a Collect+ point and also Asda for Hermes returns. You have to pay for parking which is £2 minimum, can pay with cash and card.
k. o.
A variety of shops available, good value for money and easily accessible.
J. A.
I love shopping in the mall shopping at 17&Central. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
J.
I've been coming here all my life, for 21 years and I don't plan on stopping!
J. M.
A big mall at the walthamstow main station. In here you can find everything from clothing to electronics. There's a Costa coffee inside and a huge sportsdirect. Furthermore there is a drugstore and various other shops like pundland.
B. A.
Very nice mall with big car parking space and toilet facilities for the guest and tesco and other restaurants to eat in after shopping
B. S.
Formally known as Selborne Walk, Located on Walthamstow High Street, the "longest street market in Europe", pay and display car parks also, train station and bus garage nearby
V. N.
It's not too far from me. I go there for the black hair shop often ( Afro Cosmetics) but theres also a lot of shops. As a Muslim, when I'm in need of an abaya and I can't travel to Bethnal Green or Whitechapel, a good walk up and down the market will help me find one
S. D.
I like the buzz in the outdoor market in this place. So much to see, do and try. Fresh produce, especially fish, fruits and vegetables.
In the actual mall, they had a variety of stores and good restaurants. There's also a children play area and a little green space. Everything here was just so convenient.
The only issue I had was the parking. We parked in Sainsbury's car park, which offers 90mins free, we thought that if we went over this we could simply pay for any extra time, but that was not the case. The parking attendant simply explained that if we exceed 90mins, then we will get a ticket in the post! That's far to harsh, especially for customers who are willing to pay for any extra time that they have spent.
If you choose to park in the Sainsbury's car park like we did, please keep a close check on your time and ensure you get back to your car within the 90mins.
Despite this, I would definitely be this small and especially the outside market! Friendly people, great bargains, has almost everything at your convenience and places for your children and family to relax and have fun!
j. d.
Good place, not too busy..limited shops.
D. G.
It's a shopping centre you have a lot of shop unfortunately not a lot of arcade games for kids or grown up kids
S. E.
Very vibrant mall, specially the surrounding area have open market, not far from the mall. So if you have after vibrant experience and reasonable price then walk around and outside specially to experience the open market. Enjoy your experience and keep in mind we still experiencing pandemic so take precaution. #staysafe
H. K.
The markets better then the shopping center and why the stupid name now?
S. O.
The parking is great if a little difficult to find the entrance.
L. T. B.
Has lots of good, underrated shops inside. Has developed over the years into a good community.
V. K.
Was visited last few days ago and did some shopping here and prices was resonable. Thanks you!
J. D.
Great variety of shops and places to eat
M. K.
Great cultural spot can find all kinds and types of products from food to clothing, diy, fabrics, market stores and many more won’t advise driving still many storage parking available
Z. S.
I frequently do my shopping at this mall. You can park, shop at the businesses in the mall and visit London's longest open air market just outside.
H. k.
Nice place to shop plenty of stores, The Mall here has seen much change over the years but now and again I'll find an excuse to wander round the very limited space. Some decent shops but for a Mall it isn't very large. Two floors but second floor is more of a veranda than a floor. Toilet facilities are satisfactory and plenty of parking space. Some notable shops within the Mall are Sports Direct, Asda and Shoe Locker etc...
R. C.
Ok bit busy fair selection of shops
M. G.
Vibrant and busy. All the stores you'd expect and more. The market is conveniently placed outside the Mall and it's definitely worth a visit. You can get all your fresh fruit and vegetables here. Lots and lots of stalls. Make sure you have good walking shoes. Good bargains to be had. There are shops where you can get materials and fabrics cut to size. Excellent transport links, and parking facilities.
M. M.
Mainly go for the market as the parking here is reasonably priced. But the mall itself has a few decent shops, including Boots, Holland & Barrett, Asda, Lidl, Waterstones and JD Sports
Y. A.
Nice shopping experience with a range of shops and cafeteria.
B. N.
Nice clean mall, not to busy, plenty of choice, convenient for transport
n. H.
My local best place in uk bargains after bargains good food variety of shops
S. B.
Lovely old market. Can't go wrong if u love the old time outdoor market vibe
S. M.
EDIT: 11/12/21 - Took a star off for the rubbish new name, this place will always be Selborne Walk to me and many others. Still the poor relation of The Exchange in Ilford, which has been the case ever since The Exchange was built.
***********************************************
Has improved a lot with many better stores moving in and after 30 odd years is planning to expand in a vertical sense.
There was a period of a decade or more when this place was on the decline and in danger of becoming an US-style ghost mall, but the death of BHS and arrival of a shiny new Lidl at the top of Walthamstow High Street has boosted its fortunes somewhat.
Coupled with the recent arrival of TK Maxx, the murderous yet delicious lunchtime favourite Pret a Manger and Gokyuzu, everyone's favourite Turkish restaurant (although I'm yet to try it), the Mall Selborne Walk is on the up in more ways than one.
L.
It was busy on Saturday there are entertainment for the kids and grab hot drink or something to eat at costa burger king or KFC
G. M.
It's great its back to its best after the refit post fire, in fact it's better than before!!
H. S.
I was there on the 24 th December My God it was busy why did I even get myself there it was hectic only to buy one Christmas present
S.
There is a decent selection of shops including boots, tk Maxx, the works, and New Look. It is small but handy, close to Walthamstow Station
L. T.
It's a small mall and you don't have a lot of shops open. You just lose your time and your money.
B. M.
Loads of people in summer and good place for shopping.
R. S.
Collect Plus desk (The Mall @Walthamstow) where you can easily drop your parcel for collection by couriers. A friendly staff member was there to assist in the process.
D. W.
It's got a big Asda and a tk maxx in it.
A. S.
Yesterday I visited the Mall E.17. It was almost deserted. Most of the shops are locked down apart from ASDA, Supadrug, Holland & Barrett, , Homewares, the chinese medicine shop & the coffee shop open. Sad situation. But on the bright side, for me, my trip to Holland and Barrett was made very quick and easy.
N. O.
The Mall Walthamestow shopping market's £2 buy pounds of new Earring four yes have very.
J. B.
Many different shop choices from beauty shops, salons, shoes shop to groceries, restaurants and cafes. Currently ongoing refurbishment after recent incident.. nice local mall. I would recommend to visit, but I would appreciate more choices of restaurants.
B. R.
Pretty good place. Used to be better but it's pretty alright
A. J.
Good shops inside the mall. Decent parking fee of £2 for 2 hours. Definitely coming here more often in the future and getting all my shopping from Asda.
J. T.
Very busy Saturday afternoon, loads of young families gathering for Santa's grotto so very cheerful and lively. The surroundings were quite clean and tidy even with the high traffic of people going through. The staff seemed a bit pressured and rushed with no one managing the concierge desk. Otherwise it was fine.
n. p.
Love this place.
Some interesting bits I found inside the mall
R. T.
Forget Westfield, Walthamstow mall has it all.. well it did, till someone burnt the place down...
C. G.
The mall is very clean and sparse. But there are no seats for people who cannot move about very well. The toilets are outside the main building which also makes it difficult for disabled people.
M. N.
Not a big shopping centre but is sufficient for shopping on major retail brands. Nothing fancy or special here but it is convenient.
The food court is quite small and only limited to fast foods.
Commute wise it is very ideal as the mall is located opposite the tube and bus station.
L. A.
Some good shops here but still not completely open after the fire earlier this year. We parked in the car park and it was £4 for up to 4 hours so quite reasonable when you consider a bus fare is £1.50 each way. My only criticism is the parking bays in the car park are narrow and the ones near the pillars are difficult to get into if there is a car parked next to it.
y.
I live near here and they have a wide variety of things for you to buy whether you like sports or maybe clothes they have it
D.
It's a very good shopping centre. I was actually pleasantly surprised, and there's so much there. Many shops to choose from, lovely food court, coffee area, nice to look at, and it really is a proper 'mall,' as you'd see in the States. It's also conveniently located near a bus and train station, in addition to a park, library, and even a high street with even more shops, and some market stalls where you can buy fresh fruits, veg, and other things. I would definitely recommend trying out this shopping centre!
M. T.
Decent choice of shops. Variety and prices are in line with the area. Good environment all around. Lots of hustle bustle in and around. Children's play area plus small park is ideal for families. Next to high street, tons of shops and one definitely finds something to buy even if unintended!
R. x.
I love this place , lots of things cheaper and good quality, good fresh veggies and fruit, fresh fish 🐟 ,the market is super and much more,,,👍
T. N.
Good range or shops but lower end so don't expect Zara etc. Bit small for number of visitors so can be crowded. Nice coffee shops and right next to the market so lots of places to get cheap stuff and food. Good parking and cheapish.
M. H.
The Mall here has seen much change over the years but now and again I'll find an excuse to wander round the very limited space. Some decent shops but for a Mall it isn't very large. Two floors but second floor is more of a veranda than a floor. Toilet facilities are satisfactory and plenty of parking space. Some notable shops within the Mall are Sports Direct, Asda and Shoe Locker etc...
D. K.
Nice place affordable vegetables and fruits,
F. A.
very nice place to buy home stuff here
with cheap price we regularly go there every sunday
M. T.
I went only into card factory as I had to go further down but it was ok, I can't walk too much, so walking round the shops is very hard for me, I wish there was a few more seats for people to have a rest, but at least there is still some there,
K. G.
Great for fresh fruit and vegetables and usually cheaper than supermarkets.
Farmers market on Sundays is great too.
N. B.
There is everything you could even want to buy here. You got to visit if only for the atmosphere
a. a.
Its a wonderful marketplace filled with outdoor dining and diverse shops would highly recommend visiting this place when you are in London
W. L.
This shopping mall has variety of stores to please most people however, it's too small to accommodate all those stores and can be very overwhelming and crowded at times. Not really child, buggy or pram friendly or even for a wheelchair users.
I personally would recommend those with small children and wheelchair users shop really early or when most children are at school.
N. N.
Gokyuzu is a Turkish restaurant serving a variety of dishes, great for small or large parties and families. Ideally located in the center of Walthamstow. Easy to get to with both underground and bus stations.
F. A.
Lovely place to shop for good value for money things
N. U. K.
Quite nice place, big brands you can get
Beautiful location
Highly recommended
S. H.
LOVELY CLEAN AND BRIGHT GOOD TO SEE PEOPLE COMING BACK TO SHOP HERE PAY A VISIT IT WILL BE WORTHWHILE CIAO
A. B.
Great to shop there lots of offer in place regardless what you looking for, of cause with some extent👌
B. T.
Small and almost perfectly formed, The Mall contains a good mix of well-known names and local businesses. The downside for me is that some shops, particularly the sports and menswear shops, stock such similar products that the consumer choice is limited. Well worth a visit, though, if you have no interest in decent menswear
L. L.
Very good for shopping. Street market has quite a few fishmongers. Very fresh fish. Also very good for afro Carribbean food.
R. O.
Was just looking around, Guess no difference from everywhere else
B. O.
Go Asda to buy groceries 🤗
Complying with covid-19.
The queue wasn't long and I got into the shop there weren't much people and lots of items bundled together and reduced to clear.
J. O.
I loved this mall as it has all the convenient stores that are necessary for a good food shopping trip, especially for a beauty trip to the salon. I liked the size of the Asda store, and it caters to vegetarians too. Upstairs is the food hall consisting of subway, KFC, and burger king. Downstairs are about 30 shops to choose from.
M. K.
Mall is Ok. Few shop prices over charged. Especially CEX used mobile shop.
Walthamstow and surround so much developed ad compare to 10 years back.
Parking in mall are Ok but price are higher as compare to other mall's.
T. B.
Nice covered mall and doesn't have expensive shops. Nice contribution to Walthamstow since it was built a number of years ago. Free public toilets, eateries, supermarkets and other assorted outlets. Handy for the rail and bus station. Does include a car park. Park area outside.
T. B.
The mall is somewhere I go quite often and although I love it, I think that's just because eve gotten so used to the prices and the brands. The staff in places like t.k.maxx aren't the best and Asda always tells you to buy a bag for 10p not 5p. It's good though because there is also quite a variety of stores and there's a nice vibe everywhere.
C. H.
What a friendly lil' Shopping Mall - even after the fire some temporary shops are so helpful.
Boots we're a great help - Pharnacist was so polite and advisory.
T.K. Maxx once again SUCH helpful staff.
ASDA and Sainsbury also very helpful BUT SUPERDRUG,
WOW - the rudest, most unpleasant, Discrimatory Male Chauvanistic member of staff, no manners and totilally unhelpful along with 1 member of they're Till Staff, what a horrible turn of events for the Disabled Young Kady I took to the shop for her monthly purchases. Never in all my years in Retail have I ever encountered such an unpleasant couple - who should not be working with the Public and obviously hate they're jobs, clearly disliking Disabled customers.
Though in contrast the Suoerdrug Pharmacy staff wer'e a delight and processed 11 Prescription itens with speed and helpfulness.
f. C.
The mall isn't what it used to be. Less shops and not much of choice and the toilets actually stink, the moment you enter you hold your breath don't think so the cleaners go there after the morning round. They haven't changes the toilets ever since they made this mall.
K. T.
This shopping center is really large and sometimes can be very busy usually between 3 and 5pm. The car parking is very good. I love that there are so many different kinds of shops here and slot of them have reasonable prices
M. H.
I've been coming here for over a decade now. They are currently renovating following a fire. They have a really nice baby feeding and changing room in the car park, and parking prices are also very reasonable.
c. l. 1.
Great shopping centre, everything you need in a compact and cozy mall with great coffee shops
A.
Following their refurbishment, this place is a really good shopping mall. Their are good choices for shops and the high street is just as good as it always was.
There are good places to eat, different banks and building societies, opticians, pound shops, game shops, perfume shops and even a Seth's spice hut!!!
The parking is dead cheap and they now have a gym and Gokyuzu opening up too.
A. L.
Is fine but in my opinion too expensive. 15 pounds for two beers....
B. B.
This is busy covered mall in the middle of Walthamstow. It's nice in the winter as place to get away from the wind and rain! The cafe at the front is a cool place to people watch. Also, the toilets are free!
D.
Good place to shop and to grab something quick to eat. There is a new gym that has recently opened there too. Plus a cinema which you can get cheap tickets on Tuesdays.. Prices are good in Walthamstow market area.
f. h.
A wide variety of shops market stalls and restaurants catering for all palates. Easy underground parking, seating and toilet facilities. Great place for a day out, easy to reach either by train (Victoria Line) or numerous buses.
J.
It's a small local shopping mall.
P. K.
Since this virus I don't go to the Shopping Mall as much
When i do go I just get what i want an leave
Very clean in there
The only thing is some of the people don't look where they are going an they don't know how to stay in there lane either
There's arrows everywhere as well
Also the security guards are friendly too
J.
There is so much history to Walthamstow market, I've been going there since I was a very young girl with my mum & sister on a Saturday morning.....I moved out of London & it's only recently that I've been back to Walthamstow & it has changed so much, as it has the Mall there now with a huge range of stores inside....it was clean & modern....the market itself has not changed a great deal at all....if you're ever passing by do drop in...
E. M.
Great variety of shops, and places to eat. Excited to try out the new Lidl and Turkish restaurant too. Free public bathrooms for those on high Street and saves locals from having to venture into central London. Wonderful convenience and perfect addition to Walthamstow.
S. B.
Not fully opened due to the fire last year. Need more big name shops. Clean, well sign posted due to Covid, shame the fire destroyed some shops.
B. (.
Small shopping area. Got what I needed.
A. S.
Good variety of shops. Building work ongoing following a kitchen fire. Seems to be well supported. Easy parking, good wheelchair access.
S. C.
Its a really good market can get abit crowded but i always or usually do my shopping there 👍 i recommend going there
B. B.
The Mall Walthamstow, though small it is well managed, is easily accessed by locial transport. facilities are clean and up to date, You can use your Mall Card to obtain discount.. handy to the local area. I like shopping there. Four stars because not many branded shops.
A. A. F. A.
The mall is really a good place to shop here.
S. S.
What to say.. it’s an average London Mall.
It has shops trying to sell you stuff.
It’s kept clean, it’s not too dark inside, most of the shops are big brand corporations that over charge you for everything. (I’d recommend you look online and find the same thing you were thinking of buying much cheaper)
E. S.
I like popping into The Mall in Walthamstow. At the moment they are remodeling after the fire. Once it's finished I hope there won't be to much in the way of changes with this threat of 'new build' that is suppose to be happening, sometime in the near future. Hoping they bring back the popular boot sales eventually. Dorothy Perkins and River Island are open along with New Look. Boots did a fab job of keeping our 'pre ordered prescriptions' along with other basics, supplied during the upheval. The fire crew did a great job of saving the majority of the mall for people still to enjoy. Worth a visit to this compact, clean shopping mall along with the shops, including Argos, Lidl, Peacocks and H Samuel to name just a few plus the market.
A. K.
It's a good mall in terms of everything it houses and offers. However, it could do with more places to eat or stay open longer so people can enjoy dinner at the KFC/burger king/subway
M. A.
Not the fanciest mall but it is quite ok.
I like to come here from time to time. There is a tk Maxx, Poundland, JD Sports Boots, a small Asda and few other shops. There is also a Costa coffee. The mall is clean. The parking is not too expensive.
P. O.
Still a very nice mall, but since refurbishment after the fire, Ee phone network store ceases to exist. Not to worry over abundance of other network providers available.
S. S.
The Mall these days is still being refurbished. The Asda is still open. Many of the shops still have hoardings over them. Will be good when they are all finished.
F.
Getting back in its feet gradually after an Inferno misfortune. Local and got some of the things you need. Some shops still closed though so plan before you visit
A. C.
Rather quiet. A typical "dying" shopping centre concept.
In all honesty, the open street market outside was much busier, had a better selection of items to choose from and generally more enjoyable, despite the biting cold!
C. P.
Very good mall variety of shops like make up, perfume, books, cex, boots,Clinton's , WHSmith and more shops including places to eat like Burger king and KFC and there's a Costa there's also a charity shop called heart Foundation where people can raise charity for people with heart conditions.
A. G.
I've been coming here to buy stuff since it was called Selbourne Walk. It's awesome how it's thrived though the arrival of Westfield and after the huge fire. It just feels like home to walk through, even as the shops change and update.
A. T.
Mail is not so bad but the toilets are disgusting
M. P.
Underground parking which is cheap and can be used to access Walthamstow Central station. Shops are good and the mall had recently been refurbished, so is a nice place to visit. Has coffee shops and a few fast food chains.
A. T.
It's okay, but I don't really shop there, if I go to Walthamstow. Seemed very busy.
V. F.
I was presently surprised, at the new arrangement for the public toilets of selbourne walk.
That have now been placed alongside the underground car park.
And are now a lot bigger, with better facilities..
T. M.
Having travelled from quite far away to visit William Morris House, we were surprised and delighted with the Walthamstow area especially the market and The Mall. However the one thing that really let The Mall down was the state of the toilets. Not very clean both the toilets and the floor area. No water to wash hands on the day we visited and piles of used paper towels flung under the sinks.
E. S.
Pretty poor selection of shops these days, despite the remodel recently which at least helps with the feel of the place. They're trying to update upscale but just can't attract decent chains, and won't try to attract independents.
M. K.
Loving my area and shopping there us always entertaining and easy ( I live in Walthamstow..) and I encourage everyone to support the businesses where they live!
O. E.
Not too big but it's alright
L. F.
Thank goodness the banks are still open. Lloyd's, Halifax and Santander all going strong with Nationwide and Nat West near by.
S. C.
Was able to buy really cheap console games and latest ones too. The Asda was quite refreshing and there was a throne theme pic area with musical buttons.
J. M.
Still under refurbishment after fire two years ago, should be finished this year when the food court upstairs has been completed.
A. B.
My favourite shopping place! 🌺🌺🌺
F. O.
Good evening everyone and how are you today, here I come again Walthamstow centre shopping 🛒 However I have not been to Walthamstow centre shopping before and I love it when I got there one with my friends and moreover we went there for Empire cinema 🎦 and I got there before my friends and them I entered inside shopping centre and everything was nice and you can see different kinds of shops there. The good things that if you are African fashion toilor you got all the things you want there with good quality prices.
T. j.
Been using the mall for years it's not the biggest of malls but has plenty of the named shops you would find in larger malls ..small upper has places to eat ..and the mall can be accessed from car park ,market and bus station .. disabled friendly toilets on upper floor via lift or ramp ..
N. G.
Very convenient location, very easy to go shopping and get transport.
D. “. V.
Has a variety of stores inside with ASDA parking down stair and a playground for toddlers outside where you can find a large TV screen for BBC News along with some performers beside the playground which is near to the bus stop and Walthamstow Central Station.
Fast foods upstairs and on the street is the second longest street market in Europe with everything along the way. Fish and meat market as well as retailer of fruits and vegetables just outside the Mall.
F.
Parking quite difficult in the area, not many shops, but nice Turkish restaurant near entrance
E. R.
Nice mall with a little bit of every kind of stores you can need. There is a big Asda if you need to buy grocery, some small fast food, an hairdresser, a lot of clothes and shoes shops and so on.
S. M.
There are lots of diffrent styles of clothing that you can purchase here for a reasonably good price, or if it's food you are after your in for a treat with various resturants or ingredients to prepare them. Forgot to mention that there are lots and lots of fabric shops to choose from to make the garment of your dreams. I recommend you pay here a visit to have the same experience i had ps bring your walking shoes if you love to shop
T. G.
I.only walked through the market it reminded me of old time days. It look so simple but a lot is going on there .
From canning Town only one bus 69 goes there to enjoy this market also there is Walthsmstaw library and Park there with some rides.
M. C.
Good place to go shopping with a variety of shops and supermarkets. Small but functional.
g. g.
An interesting place for shopping with a few coffees with very good quality products and service, several telephone operators, a wide range of shops as well as beauty shops. In the mall and next to it are two large supermarkets Asda and Liddle . The mall itself is in the immediate vicinity of the longest European market in Walthamstow on High Street with working hours from Tuesday to Saturday.
A. K.
My childhood shopping centre. There are a few shops in the mall. The mall design is really nice . Plenty of place to eat in there. When visting London i always pop in to have a little browse around the mall.
J. J.
The refurbishment is not finished yet. However Asda and TK Maxx are open. Though on side is still not open there are some new toilets in the car park that are clean.
H. J.
It has many services and shops including ASDA KFC Burger King Subway and TK Maxx is also has a food courts a two Storey car park with the third story closed for repairs the mall is open from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. most stores in the Moor close at 8 except ASDA which opens until 11 o clock p.m. in the night the wall has been a centre of interest and tourism posting many events around and inside them all including recently the Christmas elf and Christmas Santa photos which are free in the mall the mall has it's own more card that you can apply for I have met them general manager Rebecca bird and she was great she showed me around the place there are solar panels on the roof of the mall including a waste treatment area and waste recycling plant on the site and easy waste management there they have a help desk at the centre to Costa coffees and generally amazing service
i. T.
Reasonable size mall with a good selection shops an outdoor market and other essential's. supermarket, pub & other eating places, banks, parking etc all in close proximity. A worth while visit.
S.
Parking prices not bad if staying in town for a while. £5 for 8 hours. Food court is mostly halal which is great. Decent selection of shops.
H. A.

A. M.
Helpful staff, good Waterstones.
But the parking gets a big thumbs down. I was told I should have noticed I was going into the commuter carpark and so had to pay for a day when I'd been parked for less than 30 mins.
But the people before me had the same issues. No, I didn't see the signs, but you know and we know this happens allllll the time. So it's clearly not, ahem, clear.
M. W.
High street shops, Great market although the Mall parking is a bit hit miss. Also amazing place to try different food types eg Turkish, Asian halal foods, cafes etc lots to choose from.
G. B.
Decent selection of shops and places to eat and much nicer now it has been refurbished a bit. And a bit excessive having a Costa at either end but at least you're never far from a cuppa!
P. V.
I have been shopping there for a while in the past but not so much anymore that's why only 4*. I started prefer more specialized shop out of it. Anyway Asda is somehow very hidden there in my opinion.
Y. K.
Small and limited choice of shops, but handy enough
m. c.
Selection of chain shops to supplement goods sold on market stalls.
C. S.
The mall is a clean and friendly environment. It can become quite busy at times. However when this mall is compared to other Malls around London, the Walthamstow Mall is significantly inferior. Many other Malls feature far more stores and storeys, whereas the Walthamstow Mall consists of just 2 levels, with the 2nd only containing fast food restaurants.
A. B.
My local mall. Got most things you want. Covered so good for rainy days but not the biggest. No real premium brands here e.g. M & S or waitrose but most bases covered and great to have on doorstep if your a local. Parking available on site. Very big but basic market immediately outside on most days.
Big boots, TK Maxx, Asda, sports direct, Body Shop, Clarks, Costa and fast food.
Y. Q.
Brilliant place, filled with may shops and places to visit, its ashame with the fire taking half the mall down but hopefully we will get out JD back this year.
M. W.
It is due a complete makeover during the next couple of years. It is fine inside with a so so food 'hall' but missing some larger brand retailers, hence the revamp. Outside, it's an ugly mess.
S. C.
Looking good. Freshened up the Mall after the fire. Boots relocated, still some more shops to reopen. Hopefully by Xmas all up and running!
L. A.
My favourite mall since I was a little kid. Walthamstow is my childhood ends and I'll always have live for it... felt heart broken when the mall was set on fire.... I hope everyone Is okay and the mall is back up and referbished.
n. p.
Due to fire and covid ,place is poorly. Many shops r closed. And not very much choice on offer. Hopefully it will get better in time. 😘
S. G.
Very ordinary. Not many shopping options
d. a.
I've lived in walthamstow my whole life and as much as the mall has improved I always find it hard to get what I want because of the size of the shops as they never really carry all the merchandise other stores of thier kind sell so I tend to shop in other areas but I can always rely on the mall for the essentials and last minute pick ups.
J. H. (.
Nice reasonably sized mall, easy to get around and all the essential shops you need. Parking is reasonable as well at £2 for 2 hours, cheaper than the bus!
D. D.
Shopping centre is a bit small but they have the normal shops JD POUNDLAND ASDA BURGER KING, COSTA CEX GAME NEXT TKMAX PEACOCKS EE O2 LIDILS..toliets down in the shopping centre wheelchair access, they also have a market right beside which is good for a few bargains
A. O.
Shopping mall with the longest Market stalls in Europe.
Cheap Car Park inside the Mall.
Underground/Overground/Bus Station.
Lots of Fruit and Vegetable stalls quality with the hence prices.
Different types of Restaurants.
Lots of African or Asian style Fabric shops.
Mobile and Accessories.
Perfume, fashion and style Stores.
Sain'sbury/Asda/Lidl superstore with the free Car parks.
Post Office/Library/Police Station/kids Play Ground.
Second hand/Charity stores.
I do recommend to Visit.
T. O.
The retail and social heart of Waltham Forest. Has all the modern conveniences of a town mall within the historic setting of Walthamstow Market. One note, watch out for pickpockets with each store you enter.
G. h.
Not too many high Street shops but very convenient for those who live close by. It is easily accessible as its five minutes away from the bus station and the train station. There is a market outside the entrance so you can also get fruit and veg or items of clothing from the stall. The only popular high Street shops here are: Newlook, Topshop, river island, select, Dorothy Perkins and shoezone. I think that's most of it. Hope this helps!
M. Z.
It's a nice place to shopping
T. B.
Nice and clean, still recovering from the fire a few years ago
R. G.
Well if you like shopping you'll love the mall
In Selborne road were the mall is plenty of nice shops from Boots,E E,TK maxx Asdas.
Plenty car parking spaces and also if you're up for adventures you also have the Walthamstow high street which boasts a huge array of stalls selling everything and it's about a mile long so plentiful of mixed culture,s enjoy
a. “. n.
Security team are very blessed ppl and they do their best in all circumstances. Very polite and friendly
♥️
H. C.
Love Walthamstow market for its fresh fruit and vegetables always fresh!:
N. M.
Always a buzz here.. a cash point right opposite asda. Market great bargains.. lots if eatting places around.. parking is 1 pound hour if u plan to stay long use lower level parking it works out cheaper whole day.
m. d. b.
a very nice shopping center. you'll find everything from TKmaxx to asda, costa coffee, games shops and jeweller. the only negative bit is that it closes early ... 5pm weekdays and 4Pm on sunday..
T. C.
A small mall but you can find everything you need from Asda to nice Turkish restaurant or sit at Costa and sip a very nice cappuccino while you rest from the shopping.
J. B.
It's a big standard shopping mall. So if you need some big standard stuff then take a look. Having said that, the street market outsitis much more interesting!
C. M.
Didn't really go into the mall there wouldn't be any point. Just went market
K.
Clean, visible security personnel in an area that is accessible, great asthetic improvements being made. Looks nice. I've given it 3 stars because sadly the toilets are rather grotty and smelly😳
K. K.
Great selection of shops with well stocked Asda market. Unfortunately you'll have to pay for carpark. No matter what time I go there place is very busy therefore only 3 stars
P. R.
Decent but fairly small shopping centre madr up of chain stores eg Superdrug, Clarks, Costa Coffee; partially closed at the moment due to recent fire damage.
J.
Eerily quiet due to Covid, but it does have open loos, a car park, a cycle park and is 5 minutes from Walthamstow tube!
1.
Good couple of shops. Could do with more variety but great place to go for a quick look around.
o.
Good shopping centre for locals, sports direct, river island, Clark's also has a T.K Max and lots more
M. J.
Big selections of fresh fruits and vegetables.
A. G.
Perfectly good indoor shopping centre mostly national chains no big clothes stores.
Good street market outside. Good transport, tube, rail and bus.
D. A.
decent size mall. like the market that they have on a Saturday outside the mall. the individual pop stands are great and bargain prices in the mall. few seating areas as well.
A. E.
TK MASS: is very busy with a lot of customer buying and window shopping, i bought myself a pair of trainers as people were struggling to get a place.
R. J.
Excellent place to live, raise a family and shops but needs a Primark or Matalan in this area. No major well known clothes and shoes stores. McDonald needs to be in the shopping mall
A. N.
Great..all the shopping needs met, plus places to eat,and other boutique s in the high street, and market squares..
g. h.
There's no longer a Smiggles store located at this shopping center.
J.
Eerily quiet due to Covid, but it does have open loos, a car park, a cycle park and is 5 minutes from Walthamstow tube!
F. K.
Lots of little improvements since the fire
e. n.
It's getting back to what it used to be.
l. C.
Cheap place, fresh veggies and fruit,. clothes,👍
J.
It's well overdue a face lift
M. H.
I've been coming here for over a decade now. They are currently renovating following a fire. They have a really nice baby feeding and changing room in the car park, and parking prices are also very reasonable.
I. K.
Variety of shops and has some restaurants around there. Even public toilet.
S. C.
Was able to buy really cheap console games and latest ones too. The Asda was quite refreshing and there was a throne theme pic area with musical buttons.
N. J.
Great food
J. P.
Much better than it looks from the outside.. good selection of shops and always clean.
M. N.
Lots of variety. Parking fee is very competitive. You could do some shopping, leave your car and see the rest of London! Well worth it
M. A.
The shops are excellent for shopping. But due to the recent incident its a long walk out of the car park.
A. K.
Fresh fruit and vegetables reasonable price fantastic atmosphere.
C. D.
Small compared to most shopping centres but has a reasonable number of shops including Waterstones, WH Smith's, The Works and Asda. Poor for cafes and restaurants.
C. L.
Great mall but would be great if there were more high street stores there. Having said that, it's great that there is a large supermarket, a boots, new look and a TKmax.
H. 8.
Decent sized mall. Sadly not as busy as it once was since westfields opened. Really easy to get to, thanks to public transport. Plenty of places to eat too.
C. R.
Not bad variety of shops but I used to work down that market over 40 years ago and for all the changes and development I don't think it's got any better. I feel it's lost its character, sorry!
M. S.
They gave refurbished this Mall in the last year making it lovely and light and airy could do with more big shops instead of lots of phone shops
H. S.
They are undertaking renovations but there is a lot of shops with good deals. I think after the renovations it will be even better.
T. B.
Lots of shops, they make sure everyone wears a mask during Covid. The Waterstones is a real gem.
c. c.
Idea place if you sports wear , a mobile phone , new men & woman clothes , children shoes , books , cards , perfume . There also over priced stall inside too . You can do your weekly food shop at Asda and grbb a coffee and play table tennis after !
K. D. C.
All the shops were easy to find and getting around wasn’t completed. The mall was generally clean and well maintained
M. A.
The mall is situated in the heart of Walthamstow town centre plenty of restaurants and shoppi for everyone major retailers for food or retailers for clothing stationery everything under one roof
M. S.
Nice and small shopping mall with most of the shops one might need, was clean and tidy and wasn't overly busy.
M. H.
Love this small but homey mall
G.
Excellent shopping center including amazon lockers which takes 1 day for amazon to deliver. Lots of shops and fast foods. including street market.
Y. K.
Great local mall. Has everything from JD, TK max, Holland and Barretts and a Costa. The place most people go to eat is the KFC upstairs.
b. s.
A real local market from home made bread and pasta to paella.
n. m.
They have a market every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and have a shopping mail with high street shop and eating places love to go and visit and have a good day in the market were you can pick up bargains
c.
The Mall has Asda,a great book store, game center, lidl, virgin media and more
J. A.
Very good neat and warming. There is security all around the place. It is a very big place. There are many shops around where you can buy anything you want.
S. M.
Has some really good stores. Wish it had a plus size clothes shop and also clothes for children. The market being right there is a bonus!
M. M.
Nice mall. Lots of choices of shops and restaurants plus big asda with under ground car park. Nice and modern with lots of seating and coffee shop downstairs.
R. S.
The Mall is the centre of Walthamstow. Very unfortunately a recent fire has shut half of it. What is open is good.
L. H.
It has a lot of options but still needs just a bit more, some better shops maybe zara, hm? Less chav/ cheap shops let's bring it up to date... it's getting there..
J. M.
Has most things you might need. Under construction, so will be improved soon. Great little outside area.
G. R.
Local amenities are very close by.you can do your grocery shop and buy a pair of shoes and your childs uniform all under the same roof.
N. M.
Will do for local quick shop not much choice. Very Busy market on Saturday. Mind your bags always.
R. C.
Can't wait for when the shops start to open again
D. D.
Ok shopping centre could have more stores though and wider selection. The market makes up for it though. They have events for kids here during holidays so check it out.
R. H.
Very accessible mall, right near the bus and tube station. Good place to get your groceries and maybe a bit of shopping since it has a tk max branch out there.
N. A.
It's a nice Mall, loads to offer under one roof, I am loving the new shops and brands.
N. R.
Quick stop by my old neighbour hood to pick up some shopping
S. B.
Nice are place to go shopping but the products are generally of lower quality than in other malls... Could do better.
R. S. (.
Decent shopping centre, all the standard shops I suppose. Parking is a little pricey. Toilets are a little small, always a queue.
J.
conveniently placed and one of the only places to park 24h in an area which is all permit parking, unfortunately you will need to sell your vital organs to afford it
N. C.
Ok be aware that aside from the food court there are few places to sit. But great access to mall & the market via the nearby transport hub!!
J. P.
Much better than it looks from the outside.. good selection of shops and always clean.
K. S.
I always enjoy going down there it is good to see that the shopping centre is partially opened
G. K.
Almost everything apart from Primark haha Asda Lidl New Look Choice River Island etc most shops open late on Thursdays
S. B.
I do not have time in a week, so I'm here on Saturday. Unfortunately only active 3-4 cashier. You need to arm yourself with a lot of patience: DDD
S. W.
Loved seeing all the shops open again
m. h.
The only place you can park in the area, nice to see few big names still there matter of time then we will only have betting shops and £ stores

A. C.
One of my favourite malls so far and local the shops staff are all friendly and helpful all the time
S. A.
Good if I one loves to shop ASDA & TK-Max.
A. E.
There are some good shops including tkmaxx and Waterstones, it's generally quite quiet to walk through except on weekends but it's a little drab
D. G.
Well really loved the place ,the cleanest mall I have seen in North London ,despite what I read of the area . And good bargains especially on perfumes.
A. C.
The Mall is a wonderful local place, low crime, high hospitality; you'll usually see people huddled and talking - they've run into someone they know!
V. A.
This is very good shopping mall with all amenities TK MAxx, Boots, ASDA, WHSmith , Burger King, Costa etc most of the stuff available here with ample parking and nearby walthamstow market.

Plenty full shops with banks and restaurants. Saturday is market day with the high street full of stalls selling various items , clothing and fresh food
B. A.
Better since the refurbishment. Feels cleaner, though still limited by the relatively small unit size for most shops.
J. W.
Despite the blow the Mall suffered with the recent fire, it remains a decent hub of good quality shops in the area.
a. g.
Good place for shopping or look around, have a big market outside of The Mall, the bus station is very, very closed with underground Victoria line. Nice place.
I. A. A. S. O. Y.
This mall is very dear to me, it has all the things you need and is a very friendly social place.
I. K.
Variety of shops and has some restaurants around there. Even public toilet.
J. C.
Like the mall at Walthamstow everything is under one roof. Some things are cheap. Lovely set out to.staff on the shops are friendly.
R. R.
I quite like the Mall, despite being frequently dragged there to visit TK Maxx. It's well-kept, the staff are pleasant and it has a good range of shops.
C. Y.
It has improved a lot from the Selborne Walk days. Though i think they could do better to meet the standards set by Westfield!
W. B.
Quite busy. Some good social distancing....some non-existant
K. a. c.
Ordinary high street shops, a bit too busy at times, and a two bedroom flat at almost two grand a month in Walthamstow, really, what's that all about.... A dispiriting travesty.
V. M.
They have started modernising in 2015 and they fit in really well in the whole Walthamstow market environment. A very diverse shopping centre and they make the best of the space they have.
k.
It’s ok. It’s busy that’s normal. There’s not really a lot since the fire.
h. m.
The introduction of tk max, lidls, the works etc has made for more choice . A small shopping centre but with a good selection of shops.
G. R.
Lots of convenience, with many stores offering practically all needs for, at least, the local area - clothes, eateries, houseware, groceries, etc
A. R.
One of the good shopping mall in London along with the longest street market in London. There are loads of local heritage and excellent transport links.
s. A.
Boring shops now.. might as well just be the high street.. other malls ie wood green , Ilford, stratford are ten times better .. this one needs a revamp
l. f. 2.
