Reviews of Kingsland Shopping Centre
A. C.
Is a big contrast between generous hallway, like a roman atrium and shops.
Costa coffee was so away from you know about this international brand, I felt surrealistic, a Dada experiment. A girl who supposedly serve me, made ne feel extracts in her social life, talking and joking and let me wait till she finished her conversation.
Toilet was so dirty, I couldn't touch anything in there.
I bought a coffee, because Kingsland hasn't any public toilet, unacceptable for a mall.
But friendly people though.
m. G.
Very nicely located, staff very friendly and nice people working onsite.
Very nice sainsbury, a bit left uncared Matalan, you can find almost everything.
There are some negatives...
The marketing strategy of some shops is the cheapest the product the better, but what it upsets me is when they try to trick me, you cannot claim you are doing a closing down sale for the last 4 years, an example...
When you buy there you can find very good copies of brands (which is actually illegal in some countries, generally, but you can find very nice places nearby such the mind and crysis charity shops that has lot of good clothes and doen the road oxfam and st vincent charity shops too.
Many dodge phone shops be aware, not the branded one, the mens in the streets, sold me sim with other person registred om
A. P.
It's good here not much to do but the only thing is the market to shop and buy ur fresh fruits and vegetables 😋
T. S.
They need a public toilet in there. There's nowhere to pee for ages unless you go to a cafe where you need to purchase something. Other than that, it's fine
C. B.
Great place to shop. You'll find variety of shops there such as Matalan, Iceland, Sainsbury, Holland and Barrett, Lidl and many more shops.
L. P.
Has a beauty salon and hairdressers. Peacocks is good and the Matalan is on 2 floors! It's enormous and a lovely shop. You can get no end of things for your home on there and plenty of clothes too. A great family shop. It also leads out to the Ridley Road market too.
B. A.
It's a one stop shopping centre to buy whatever you need. Fresh fruits sold at a very cheap prices and African food stores to buy things fresh from Africa. African clothing and a lot of other big shops like matalan, sainsbury's, boot, Holland and barrett, etc and other fast food joints like McDonald's and Costa with other African cuisines in the market place.
C. A.
It was less busy than in the morning rush hour or evening rush hour when it comes to traffic.
F. B.
Nice Shopping Mall in the Heart of Dalton Kingsland. You will be spoilt for choices and bargains from retail outlets. Aldl recently opened one of their branches next to the Poundland.
A. S.
You can pick up a bargain here in one of the independent shops which are forever “closing down” however when walking through you can see it’s a sad centre which once was busy. Very limited shops I’d say matlan and sainsbury are probably the biggest draws. Other than this there aren’t many things to look out for a sad reality is that there is more going on outside like Ridley market and kingsland high street then inside
S. A.
Has a good sainsburys supermarket inside, plus Iceland, H&b, Superdrug and Matalan down the end. Very hustle and bustle like all of Dalston
K. “. G. G.
This place is ok, to pop in and shop at the following stores: Sainsbury's, Iceland, EE, Spec Savers, Holland and Barrett, 3 mobile, Costa, Matalan, Card Factory, Superdrug, plus many more independent stores, I have forgotten.
d. p.
I really like matalan but other shops poor I can't understand the terrible furniture shops really bad taste and terrible stalls just sainsburys and matalan
c. k.
It's just average. No new stores or change in years no toilets Nothing bad just Nothing good
K. B.
I like thete. A good shopping experience and you will find out how good it is
t. j.
A bit of late Xmas shopping was completed under one roof with good assistance from staff
L.
It's a nice little shopping centre next to Dalston Market which is definitely a good thing.
A. G.
This place located on a busy high street with 2 train station Ridley market, big name store and super market, banks and lots of other buisness plus school ,library, the curve garden for age UK residents to socialize. On Tuesdays
c. l.
Lots of great shops. Check out new Aldi, Poundland, Sainsbury's and Iceland
J. S.
Not much quality clothing any where in this shopping centre, big sainsbury,s Iceland & now aldi also across the road M&S food shop
M. K.
Convenient store for quick purchases. Nice kids cars for 1 pound per ride. You can buy all you need here - food, clothes and stuff for home. There is a big Sainsbury's inside.
r. a.
I enjoy going here, as I can almost buy anything under one roof .
x. t.
There is a Aldi supermarket, Sainsbury, Superdrug, Holland and Barrett and other shops
E. C.
Some equipment needed to be upgraded apart from that a good solid gym
A.
Used to have a vast variety of shops but now it's just full of random shops! Not the same as it was years ago!
C. S.
Dalston Market is a popular market in East London. Price of things are reasonable and you can get most things
K.
They're opening an aldi soon, soooo excited!!! There is matalan there too as well as Costa!
S. F.
Yes it's very good got superdrugs and matalan, lceland etc very happy 😊
J. J.
Well stocked shopping centre with a reasonable prices for all.
V. T.
It is a mall that has quite the selection of whatever you may need from clothing, shoes, groceries to consumer electronics.
W. A.
Beautiful place where you can find everything you want
m. s.
Small uninspiring shopping centre. Usual chains, a few independents, somewhere to shelter if it rains & you're at the market.
A. E.
Nice little shopping centre which has more ot less every shop that you need the basics also has parking place st the back its usually empty as it abit expensive but I dont mind paying that extra for palromg so you do not have to walk 2 3 miles after you have done your shopping I actually like this multicultural shopping centre full off all walks off life. Its actually really nice outdoor shop are good aswell they have all you need really. Rather go to one place and get everything than go all over london .
T. K.
The fruit shop inside is why I come here. Good service and cheap.
C. C.
Some form of toilets and baby facilities sorely missed in the area
P. Y.
Chilled out in Costa for a good few hours on a Sunday as the staff there were nice & friendly 😀
R. M.
The place has a mixture of sadness and mystery, its interesting to me, probably not to most...
O. O.
Nice shopping centre with indoor parking and a rooftop terrace which I had a lovely picnic as I knew the caretaker I was invited to view.
T. M.
Mainly for food shopping. Need more variety
c. s.
Just a simple shopping center, nothing special about it.
D. S.
Small, not many shops in, just for essentials
H. M.
Most convenient of all is the vegetable and fruit vendor in the centre of the aisle
T. S.
A very multicultural shopping experience can be has here. The shopping centre itself needs a massive overhaul, as its appearance is very dated. Cannot day the car park is overly safe. Directly outside you have the local market and an abundance of cultural cafes and restaurants.
m.
They need to change shop inside commercial center
C. H.
I only used to come in here for peacocks but due to the pandemic it has now gone there is also a Iceland, Sainsbury's, Matalan, a beauty salon(I used to get my eyebrows done there before the pandemic) and several other clothes shops which have quite decent prices. There are several different stalls selling different things our favourite is the sweet stand I always get the popcorn my child gets the candy floss
S. G.
Nostalgia hits me everytime I come here.... USED to come here every weekend 30 years ago
l. g.
Best holiday I've been on ,the pool was amazing 10/10
S. F.
Good choice of shops and a super market. Clean and not over crowded.
D. H.
Very good. Lots of variety, at the cheaper end of the market. The stalls in the walkway seem especially good value. I bought a handbag for £5 and when I got home, discovered it is leather. Amazing! It was lovely to be able to walk around from shop to shop under cover and so not getting wet from the drizzle.
a. o.
Great for bargains and one gifts, all shops accessible. Love the fresh doughnuts and churros, being able to get a massage, acupuncture and more. Great place for bags and accessories, costa is there to with sainsbury's, icelands, super drugs, go get your eyebrow, manicure and pedicure. So much going on. Busy and quiet times space in main area but now with queuing taking place get the advantage of stress relief.
I. F.
It was fine not to busy was comfortable for shopping
E. T.
Great for all needs. Cheap cloths shopping and household accessories.
T. M.
Getting better everything you need really in one space and a lovely little hot donut cart
C. A.
I visited Sainsbury Supermarket to get few things needed in the area but there were less people than usual. The Shopping Centre was like a ghost town with very few people because most of the stores were closed which is very unusual for the area.
J. C.
- Many Varieties of Shops Around
- Your Will Found Products
- There Are Multi Cultural Shops
- Very Good Public Transport Around
- To 3 Minutes From Dalston Kingsland Station
J. J.
Excellent value for money. Excellent Customer service. Definately be shopping there again.
p. m.
Nice place to go and do your shopping always clean in kingsland shopping centre always spend money in Darlston
P. B.
Add more shops in the shopping mall that people can afford, like B&M, Bargain, WHSmith, Sams 99p store to name a few as I have to travel too far to access these stores
o.
I've given 3 star on the basis that most of the shops are either closed down permanently or temporarily, shops that are remained open are, Iceland, Holland&barrett, superdrug, Sainsbury's and Matalan for click and collect.
S. E.
This review comes as a result of me being detected by Google walking by Kingsland Shopping Centre, passing through Ridley Road market on the way to Poundland, opposite Dalston Junction Station. And that's how Kingsland Shopping Centre should be seen, as a part of the total Dalston shopping experience. Dalston, post hipsters and post gentrification, is a lively and varied spot for shopping. The cheap and charity shops and stalls butt up against the posh, trendy and twee offerings. If you want something that you wouldn't expect to find in Westfield - and that's quite a lot - Dalston will probably have it.
I. H.
I live just across the street from this shopping centre so I know all about it. It isn't the best one or one I would come especially for him, but as a local shopping centre I would say that they offer all that you would need from your local shopping centre.
I just don't understand why they aren't allowing pets inside but they have all kind of people massing around and fouling...
J. S. 1.
It is an old shopping center, although you find a variety of shops, the shopping center as a whole lacks social areas, lacks a family spirit. Instead it is an old square buiding with shops but not real personality. Visiting a shopping center should be an experience in which you feel safe, you feel welcome, you are able to enjoy the surroundings, but there are not surroundings. I talking in terms of decoration, in terms of options to enjoy perhaps a painting, perhaps a little monument, perhaps some screens with music. Small things may create a more positive effect on people's visit.
J. J.
Excellent value for money. Excellent Customer service. Definately be shopping there again.
H. H.
❤
C.
Bunch of shops ennit
H. S.
Cool 😎 🆒️
S. D. L.
It's so much quieter... but I still love it 😀
M. K.
Convenient store for quick purchases. Nice kids cars for 1 pound per ride. You can buy all you need here - food, clothes and stuff for home. There is a big Sainsbury's inside.
A. A.
Amazing super store
P. B.
Add more shops in the shopping mall that people can afford, like B&M, Bargain, WHSmith, Sams 99p store to name a few as I have to travel too far to access these stores
A. G.
It's a shopping centre. I don't go if I don't have to.
E. P.
It's changed alot usual shops have gone new ones popping up
P. M.
For Africans and Caribbeans, this is the place for fresh traditional foods. You can also buy whatever you want due to heavy mix trade. Let call it a proper multicultural market
n. n.
Its good place to shop
M. D.
Now here's a shopping centre that I've been going to for the best part of 15 years. It has encountered many radical changes over the years with shops coming and going, however it is still a formidable place to shop and it has great access to the Dalston Market which sits right below the shopping centre. There are the large change such as JD Sports Foot Locker Sainsbury's and others. You will also find that this place and it's surrounding is very multicultural which adds to the diversity of products and services within the area.
V. G.
The place you will get everything you want ,except nice food
R. V.
What can you say - lots of shops! Holland & Barret, foot locker, JD, Sainsbury's... Fantastic market outside for fresh veg/fruit/kosher/halal/cafes/restaurants. Hidden London - London life at best.
Great spacious parking outside and car wash, plenty of racks to park your bike.
M. S. F.
This shopping mall is not too bad, they have some essential shops such, 3G, super drug, sainsbury and some others, they also have parking space.
A. S.
Not the most glamorous shopping centres around but it still has its charm. It's easy to access as it's just opposite the Overground in Dalston (Overground to Stratford) and near Dalston Market. There's a wide selection of clothes shops and a Sainsbury's for groceries, to name a few.
S. S.
It's a nice place to go with friends
J. S.
A very welcoming place.
C. F.
A good place to buy fresh vegetables and fruits. Also available variety of frozen fish. This is available in the outside area. Inside the Mall you can find from Poundland to sainsbury's and anything in between.
L. b. s.
It very busy high rd and its very good market 6 days a week you can get a lot of Caribbean foods and also to get Caribbean hair shop wigs dye all sorts
M. T.
Small shopping centre for locals, has some of your basic stores like Matalan, Sainsbury's and Superdrug. The market is right outside, so good if you want to buy meat, fruit and veg. Downside you have to pay for parking.
E. S.
Good place to shop as theres many shops under one roof. I did not use the carpark as they charge something like £10 but it's free when you spend £10 in the Sainsbury's. No thank you!
H. B.
Lovely little moll. All you could want
C. W.
Even though I live in Hackney, I don't regularly shop here. Not as large as mist shopping malls in North London, but the likes of Sainsbury's, H&B and Superdrug, plus Ridley Market outside, its decent enough for anyone to shop for groceries
H. H.
❤
H. S.
A tradtional styled outdoor and indoor market which gets very busy on Saturdays. Great for obtaining fresh fruit/vegetables/fish and meat at a fraction of supermarket prices.
N. P.
It's a Shopping Centre, what more is there to say? There's a medium sized Sainsbury's, an Iceland, a Costa and various clothes, phone and interiors shops and a few stalls along the passage (one for toys, one for jewellery, one phone accessories and one snacks. There's parking at the rear, free for Sainsbury's customers. I usually only visit Sainsbury's, so can't really comment on the others.
J. T.
Has your basic shops but also has some one of boutiques that you wont get on the high street but these tend to close and reopen every 3-6 months. It a local shopping mall for local residents but I quite like it.
A. A.
It is ok! Nothing much to it.
D. S.
Kingsland Shopping centre has the usual shops, but what I really love about it is the little shop close to the exit into Ridley Road which sells all sorts of nuts, seeds and dried fruit at great prices. I also love that you can go outside and find yourself in the middle of Ridley Road markets. Great place to shop for fruit and vegetables (£1 per bowl), clothes, wigs, and perfumes.
E. D.
I have always loved coming here cos it's the closest shopping mall to me. Though not big but, it has Matalan, peacock, sainsbury, and some other small shops, most times there are lots of sales going on at different times in the year. Quite a busy place though.
E. G.
I Saw latest Samsung 10+ coming up this Month In The March, up to four rear camera's 🤩
3G phone network inside The Shopping Centre never dissapoint Their Clients, took my contract years Ago,always happy with them.
Kingsland Shopping itself Small but Nice :)
T. T. M. E. R.
Nestled in the heart of exciting Dalston, Hackney London E8, this shopping centre is safe and has all anyone could require from a quick shop for the essentials with a large Matalan, Iceland, Superdrug, The Perfume Shop and Sainsbury making up the main retail stores plus a few shoe and clothing boutiques. For coffees and snacks, Costa Coffee is right next door.
C. J.
Dalston's shopping centre is showing its age now. There's a few regulars such as Holland and Barrett, Sainsbury's (very run down), EE and the inevitable Costa (oh, and Specsavers) but the rest is a mixture of budget wear and beauty places. You don't have to be desperate, but it helps...
T. B.
LOADS of parking space but overpriced at a minimum of £5 cash, or £10 spent in Sainsburys for free parking. Nice clean little mall. A bit pricey but Ridly Market is right outside the shopping centre if your looking for bargains.
S. M.
You can get just about anything here from carpets, sofars clothes food your hair done up in a nice style or beauty your face with eyebrow tainting, eyelash extensions or shape your thick eyebrows get rid of unwanted facial hairs. There are also plenty of toys and games to choose form to buy as gifits for your children or loved ones and friends. This shopping centre is historically it has been in Dalston for many decades making it the heart of a very cultured diverted surroundings where everyone gets along with their neighbors.
T. L.
Its OK, a few shops matalan Iceland peacocks and Sainsburys being the main ones. A few others to hand. Nothing spectacular but Handy for top up shopping and a quick browse and handy for Ridley Road market
M. A.
I love shopping at this venue in transit to work at Walthamstow because I could get everything here without wasting time in the market. I love it there.
H. H.
It's got a bit of everything, like an arcade, with the bonus of being next to the best street market in London. What puzzles me is why people are in Sainsbury's here buying fruit and veg when there is fresher, better value and more choice in Ridley Road market just outside? Strange....
M. “. N.
Really depends on what you're looking for here. It's not glam like a westfield or lakeside, it's a small local shopping centre with access to the famous Ridley road market. If you really want cheap fruits and veg, this is the place to go. All the locals come here so you know it's a good place to come and it's so close to both Dalston overground stations.
G. J.
The central popcorn is amazing, the hair shops have all the best products in london, the lingerie is the best, the market is the best in london, needs some better clothes shops though and matalan is rubbish except for their non padded bras (padded bras ruin your breast tissue )
S.
It's okay, kind of crowded, and now has a random fruit and veg stall in the middle
Sometimes pigeons fly inside, so be careful
O. A.
I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER WITH ICELAND STORE, BECAUSE ALL THE FOODS ARE WELL PREPARED; EITHER FROZEN OR FRESH, I HAVE CONFIDENCE IN THEIR FOODS, ALL MY CHILDREN (NOW GROWN UP LOVE ICELAND FOOD) THIS STORE VERY CONVENIENT FOR ME AND EVERYONE I THINK!!!!.
J. “. S. F.
Great for getting bargains
A.
Its a great shopping centre, wasn't too busy when I last went, great selection of stores
D. L. M.
Nice shoping center. All products are available at regional price
M. O.
Busy shopping centre with large chain and some boutique shops. Bordered by a busy street market. Plenty of on street parking locally but also 2 hours free parking for sainsburys customers in a large ajoining car park. Good disabled access...
S. A.
Parking machines are a nightmare: some only accept coins - as I stayed at the nearby Premier Inn for 2 days, I had to feed in 30 pound coins! Customer services at Sainsbury's were incredibly helpful with change and offers of support in calling the parking company.
C. H.
Lots of cheap deals here. However there are NO toilets in the entire shopping center- except for those in Costas Coffee. Of course there is a big queue there. What would happen if Costa closed?
Seriously- get some loos!!!!
E. G.
This is a small shopping centre. It is beside the market which is handy. It has a some good shops. If you are fortunate you Mau find some bargains there. It has disabled access. I am not sure if it has toilet facilities.
K. M.
It has the basic shops you need - supermarket, several pharmacys, Carphone Warehouse, Matalan (which can be a lifesaver for last minute children's clothes or storage solutions) and a ton of cheap non-branded everyday shops, from clothes to cards, to cosmetics. Handy but lacks quality.
L. W.
They've got a different selection well at least I think so I can get the big tin of mackerel out of date
M. C.
Variety of shops and indoor stalls. The mall itself would do well with a face lift as it is generally old and out dated.
It holds several mobile phone company shops; cafes (such as a Costa), a large Sainsburys, a JD Sports, Footlocker, Superdrug, Holland & Barrett's etc.
There is a wonderful stall selling nuts, dried fruits and popcorn which sweetens the smell of the air. And, other stalls sell a variety of things from rugs to handbags and phone cases.
Easy access to the World famous Ridley Road Market.
Overall not a bad mall but would be nice to see it have a revamp.
J. A.
Going downhill. Loads of shops closing. Still got Sainsburys, Superdrug, JD Sports, Card Factory, Matalan, Costa, Three phoneshop, EE Shop and Holland and Barrett... Few others but not any that I frequent.
G. C.
Nothing particularly wrong apart from the limited experience of what one expects from a shopping centre. ie No toilets, almost as much stalls as shops, which are all low end outlets.
M. T. N.
Parking iz too expensive. i only went to pick up a pad and game from the cex store and it cost me more to park than it would have if i ran in and out with a disabled badge.
O. p. A.
You can get whatever you are looking for, from clothing to provisions and other household things.
N. B.
Put more Jamarican's there and it will be little jamaica. As there's quite alot of them selling stuff market wise which help alot of us feel as home However the place isn't bad. Especially if you want your hair done as a black female
P. K.
Average place to go for a shoping. Average range of stock. Big parking lot. Biggest disadvantage is that only toilet its a paid one and most of the time its out of order.
S. K.
😎RIDLEY ROAD MARKET, DALSTON is AMAZING👌🏽👍🏽... LOTS OF 😍COLOURFUL🎉 STALLS OF 🌹🌹🌹FLOWERS, 🐟🐠🦀🦞🦐🦑🐙FISH, 💕VEGETABLES, FRUITS, 💕PERFUMES, 💥BEANS, 💖HOUSEHOLD PRODUCTS, 👟SHOES, CLOTHES, CLOCKS, 😉WATCHES, 🎉HOT FOODS 😋PRACTICALLY EVERYTHING💖👍🏽👌🏽🔥🔥🔥🌹🌹🌹
A. k.
Afro street market. Everything from All African country is here. Halal meat is here too.😇😇😇
B. G.
They have quite a few stores i.e J DSports Iceland Sainsburys Holland and Barret and the staff are friendly. The Costa Coffee shop also allows shoppers to use their bathroom.
T. A.
Amazingly still a bit of a crappy mall, some very weird shops selling tat, but good it hasn't yet been gentrified as it's in hipster central, Dalston! There's a massive Sainsbury's in here as well
M. O.
You have Matalan, JJD, Sainsburys, Peacock, Trainers King, Iceland and a traditional market where you can find all sorts of groceries , clothings, shoes, restaurants, bakeries. Most 9f the stores close at 6pm and the market closes early in winter and later in summer. Parking available underground
A. D.
Good variety of supermarkets, stores with the world famous Ridley Market immediately next door. Stores include Matalan, Peacock, Sainsburys, Iceland, Cex, EE, 3, Costa, Specsavers, and a whole host of Ad hoc shops catering for (almost) every need in one place.
L. T.
Not all the retailers/shops are opening. Whichever premises that one wanted to shop, just needed to factors in extra time for queueing and waiting in turn to pay to cashiers.
S. J.
Could be fantastic but there seems to be a deliberate campaign by the centre's owners to run it down, it has been alleged so they can build more flats and an 'artisan' hipster shopping arcade, though I couldn't possibly comment. Several famous stores have shut up shop here in the past couple of years and been replaced with fly by night cheap clothing shops. There is also no seating in the centre, even though there is the space for it. However there is a permanent 'display' of sofas for sale, which are used by young scallies to congregate on late in the evening. The roof of shops and communal area leaks and there is a musty stale odour that reminds me of childhood Butlins and Pontins holiday camps that had seen better days. The only highlights, Matalan, Sainsbury's and a stall selling really nice African fabrics.
f. n. l. n.
Small shopping mall, just a long wide aisle really. Has a Sainsbury's, Matalan, Superdrug, Holland & Barrett, Iceland, phone shops and 10+ shops. It's right next to Ridley market and on the high street so a good range of shops outside. Has free parking on the back and 2 train stations opposite. Always looks dreary but is clean and covers the basics.
M. A.
Good clean shopping centre with high street shopping shops
M. D.
I used the entrance as a short cut to Ridley Rd Market, Apart from Quality Fruits, Veg, there's everything for the home, all at Bargain Prices. Best Market in London.
M. S.
Located on the bustling Kingsland High Street and alongside the lively and eclectic Ridley Road market, Kingsland Shopping Centre has something for everyone: all your favourite shops, ample parking and free wifi.
Kingsland Shopping Centre offers reduced cost regular parking at £30.00 per week, ideal for those who live nearby , work or visit Dalston regularly. Contract parking is also available.
m. h.
Great sainsbury's.
M. S.
Been buying in this Mall for many years great environement. Good deals inside, and outside we have the Amayzing street Market. Tradicional Crops as Kiabos and fresh fish
S. s.
Need security, felt uncomfortable , quite dark inside but could be a good place. Need a bit of caring.
N. D.
Good market place to buy asian and caribbean produce. Also plenty of meat & fish options but not free range or organic. There are also a few fabrics shop including the long standing Dalston Mills. The additional mini mall/shopping centre includes Holland & Barrett, Matalan, iceland & Sainsburys.
H. M. S.
Our local shopping centre, good place and good shops. You can even have haircut, nails done .
A. B.
Kingsland Shopping Centre is always full of surprises, you never know what you will find inside. The shops that exist inside are CEX, Sainsbury's, JD, Foot Locker, Blue Inc, Superdrug, 3 Store, EE, Carphone Warehouse, Matalan, Costa, Perfume Shop, Iceland, Travel Agent and many many more shops that provide great service and sell nice quality products.
A. L.
All this place needs is a cineworld cinema to make perfect. With two supermarkets inside, a travel agent, footlocker, jd sports, poundland just around the corner and rigly market just outside. Plus easy public transport and two train stations, one over and underground, this area has more than you can ask for. Better just take a trip down and see for yourself. At night, clubs and restaurants line both sides of the road all the way to Stoke Newington.
k. l.
If you come to london here's on place to.visit it's very multicultural.has Nigerian and Caribbean cuisine and a beautiful market that sells organic everything from all over the world.dalston is the place. .to be

Dont like Dalston very much but it's the nearest shopping mall. Always clean and tidy but I do try to go elsewhere...
M. R. A. (.
Small shopping mall good for quick shopping trip. Attraction is Ridley's Road Market next to it, which is best place to buy fresh food and house hold items on bargain prices.
F. M.
Lots of stores are closed with hording up, it makes the place look derelict
L. O.
Nice airy Shopping Centre, directly opposite the Underground station, with Sainsburys, Iceland, Superdrugs, JD Sports, The Perfume Shop, EE, THREE, Carphone Warehouse, Card Factory, Peacocks, and Matalan, additional to many, many independent boutiques.
i. c.
I love it ..but I wonder why they didn't have any place to sit inside the shopping centre.. sometime you need to take a rest and then continue your shopping
D. B.
Greatest collection of tack under one roof in London (sorry) Everything you need for a 70s rave. Useful big Sainsbury's though.
J. F.
It has shops, but I would not like to spend a long time there. Fairly downmarket place. An excellent pharmacy though with great advice.
T. G. I. L. M. a. S.
Not muy favourite place but what can you expect from a shopping centre? Not an immense variety of choice but you got the essential I guess. At least it is clean and seems to be looked after.
T.
Good local shopping centre with an array of nice shops and clothing stores such as footlocker..matalan and peacocks.
You can walk from the centre out into the famous ridley road market where you will find alot of fresh fruit stalls and butchers.
There is free parking of 2 hours with a minimum spend of £10 in sainsburys which is of a good size.
Take advanyage of the fresh doughnut stall opposite the Matalan entrance...made fresh to order.
T. C.
A couple of of big brand shops EE, Vodafone, Carphone Warehouse, Foot Locker, JD Sports, Iceland, Specsavers, Sainsbury's plus a few more... but just misses the mark in my opinion shops could be a bit bigger and just the shopping centre as a whole could do with a make over
A. M.
Lots of shops and places to eat. We went in McDonald's on the outside of the shopping centre. It was busy but got a seat and food was nice, even the Samsung tablets worked!!
S. N.
Not so great in my experience. Not many shops, small corridors and no open space. Plenty of parking space but machines only take coins. Sainsburys customers get 2 hour parking free
D. M.
What can you say - lots of shops! Fantastic market outside for fresh veg/fruit/kosher/halal/cafes/restaurants. Hidden London - London life at best
J. E.
It's a bit messy and rundown. The whole place needs a bit of love. Friendly staff in the shops I've been to though.
S. D. L.
It's so much quieter... but I still love it 😀
C. S.
Firstly there are no toilets here unless you go into Costa. Shops inside vary in quality but feel like they would fit into a small Northern English town, think Kidderminster!
There is an obligatory exploitative Bright House as well. The highlights are CEX and another computer games place, Holland & Barratt, a huge and wonderful Matalan and also Iceland.
For cheaper clothes and foods you are better off sticking to Ridley Road Market. Amazingly it hasn't been hit by gentrification and us working class people still feel welcome here.
a. “. s. t. r. m.
The Sainsbury is big. The carpark is very expensive, and the staff or absolutely useless. There's a Footlock and JD sports, side by side.
Just avoid the idiots, that roam around occasionally.
B. W.
Lots of chance to snag a bargain at some of the bargin shops, main reason to visit is the large Sainsburys. Head out onto Ridley road market if you want more vaiety, although its not always cheaper.
P.
Area okay market definitely better than dated shopping centre...support the market traders! Lovely people and so diverse....always been such a diverse area so many lovely cultures!
J. W.
Great place to shop but no toilet facilities. Staff are helpful in shops but it's amazing as most shopping centres do have toilets except this one.
j. j.
My favourite market of all time, but its going
backwards in that epidemic, some of the shops are not there any more.
B. B.
It's actally OK as shoppig malls go. Clean and looked after with the usual range of shops you would expect to find in any mall in the UK.
F. J.
Shopping centre opposite the Overground station, which brightens the area up.
m. b.
Great place to shop combine it with Ridley Road market and it's like going back in time before the yuppies brought in the sterile franchises. COOL.
R. R.
Pretty good for fruit and vegetables, but you need to look around before buying as prices vary a lot.
s. n.
Great shopping experience and more great bargains restaurants local pubs and bars. Check out the market place for your everyday basics needs clothing food etc
L. M.
Nothing open apart from Sainsbury's and superdrug and Iceland so not a lot to see unfortunately
f. s.
Great place to shop quite a few store there its also has a out door market close to train station and lots of local bus going to central london and south London loads of parking nice area for lunch
H. S.
Cool 😎 🆒️
J. J. A. K. K.
Favourite part of trip to London. Always a bargain to find there. But it could be better if there were rest rooms
S. r.
Shopping centre ok but could do with improvements not really anygood clothes shops in there only cheap and tackey stuff also there is no public toilets in this place!!
C.
Decent shopping centre, has a sainsbury too so a food shop is an option. It's small so not many options if you're looking to browse around
C. L.
Slightly ran down, needs to be updated with better shops such as more clothe shops which are up to date e.g newlook, Zara, topshop etc.
D. J. D.
This centre is going down hill empty shop’s and many stalls gone, security seems devoid of site. Dogs taken through, cycles being rode through just not right anymore.
D. D.
Still the same as ever before.. Different stalls, using more space, lots of people with no manners but good variety of shops
N. O.
A nice and convenient place to buy certain products but has quite a nasty smell at times which can really irritate customers.
3. D.
There is a one wY system in.place to Llow shoppers to walk around and.shop whilst also following the guidelines and social distancing.
R. E.
Always a joy and fun with helpful staff and good service
L. A.
Basic local shopping mall not many big names, there is sainsburys, iceland, Holland and Barrett ,Superdrug, all the phone shops, Matalan and card shop oh and a Costa.
b. b.
A great place to go and take the family and shop you can buy phones close and lots of High Street places and markets to look into give it a try as words don't speak as experience it's a great place lots of food to eat lots of things to do
A. M.
Sadly lost a few shops but still a great place
A. L.
Good selection of shops, but none is very big. For major purchases or a full range of goods you'd have to go to Westfield or further afield.
K. W.
Average size shopping mall with few fake accessories stalls and Iceland, sainsbury
Can recommend beauty salon that does amazing eyebrows
T. C.
I believe not everything has to be sparkling for it to be good. Sometimes there are treasures hidden in areas, that outdo the common places of interest. Ridley Market - Aladdin's Cave.
B. B.
Simple shopping centre with your basic shopping, Iceland, specsavers and matalan. Overall an enjoyable place to shop.
b. b.
Great place if you are looking for something,so many different cultures however there is no public toilet
K. O.
Love going here cause I can go to many shop best of all Matalan
F. J.
Its ok for the quick items the sainsburys have some clothing items.
A range of clothing stores homeware and there is an iceland.
S. O.
A bit grimy but a good selection of stores, including Sainsbury's, Iceland, furniture shops, luggage shops, coffee and treats.
M. E.
Good for foods shopping with Sainsburys and Iceland. Needs some investment. Shops open and close too quick.
H. B.
I go there mostly for sainsbury's & Holland & barret.
W. D.
always full of life, you will never get bored here, different people from all over the world. lovely place.
J. S.
A few good shops, but nothing special and a bit shabby with no public toilets. Come here mostly for Sainsburys.
n. n.
Most responsive mall to urban and ethnic diversity in London
N. Y.
An array of moderately priced shops and stalls not to mention Matalan, Sainsbury's, Iceland and Holland and Barrett
S. L.
Excellent for everyday essentials and a quick browse.
M. P.
Cheap and cheerful.
L. L.
There is no cash machine or toilets within the shopping centre. There are also quite a few knock off cheap dodgy places inside it is a shame it lets it down and not a great selection of shops.
P. O.
Well organized but couldn't find all I needed. May be, giving room for more companies to coming such Next, M&S, etc.
R.
Not as big as other shopping centers but since it's nearby I geuss it's alright needs more mainstream shops though, the only big one is sainsburys
H. Y.
It has a good range of cheap and cheerful shops! Market is close by.
A. A.
Amazing super store
C. S.
No toilets in the centre but a few decent a Good like Matalan Sainsbury's peacocks rtf.
C. M.
I love sainsburys in kingsland shopping centre. Staff very friendly and so many Bargains.
D.
It's a good little shopping centre. Has good parking, supermarkets, and takeaways. I'd recommend.
N. C.
Kinda like an flea market with a few good grocery stores in the middle.
V. L.
Small shopping centre, not many shops. Good of you are in a rush.
J. B.
Okay been to better but at least there are shops but so many businesses are closed down so Kingsland and the market are the main attraction
Y. B.
It's got a lot of major retail chain stores and some that are bulk breakers with unusual things at low prices. There is also a market for accessories for mobile devices on can rely on in a bind.
T. K.
Climbed on the roof of this shopping centre, the police came and they didn't press charges. Costa do good paninis as well.
E. A.
Nice place to do your shopping
B. L.
Very easy to get what you want and there is lots of variety things to mix and match
J. J. (. J.
It smells like popcorn and there are kids riding their bikes inside sometimes, but it's pleasant enough
D. T.
Depending on the day, essential shops but nothing major.
V. L.
These place was very modern...40 years ago little bit washed out now.
r. p.
Many shops one big downside is the spots that can be rented you have people trying to pitch a sale all the time I get it's a job but its annoying in a place that already has limited space
D. Y.
Ok, this isnt the classiest place on earth but it is very useful. Maplin, sainsburys, iceland what mroe do you need?? am sure that as kingsland develops this place will get better...
E. M.
Has a small number of shops and units. Vibrant and busy, parking expensive, but overall a pleasant place to visit.
R. R.
Not bad nor good either
J. S.
Big shopping centre with a wide variety of shops including Sainsburys, Specsavers, Matalan Iceland etc. Also minutes away from a vibrant busling market.
A. N.
Seems to offer alot. I always go after 6 when everything is closing, but the sainsburys and matalan are pretty big
E. A.
It nice full of nice shops but their is one very rude worker is some shoe shop opposite the food sstand
K. L.

V. C.
Nice shop and well controlled with the social distancing in the aisles
S. A.
Very little shopping centre. There aren't as many shops to go in. A big Sainsbury's, a big Matalan, and a few other shops.
I.
Best market in the world is just next to it and I never leave the place with out going for my ring donuts next to the Sainsbury's
H. b.
It's an amazing and exotic place for shopping and buying clothes
L. V.
The big name shops are good but the smaller outlets seem to sell goods that are not the best quality.
S. N.
Full of variety of stores, side by side with the market. Very handy place for almost any need
J. C.
Handy location of car park for Sainsburys and other local stores busy shopping centre with plenty of choice
L. A.
Again this place is a great place to shop for the home very reasonable business is booming here verge central to your needs

Good for your essentials. A bit sparse. Not open late apart from Sainsbury's.
A. j.
This is my main shopping centre where I have been shopping for years. It is a lively and very busy area annex to Ridley Market.

h.
Broad variety of place
J. G.
Dingy but cheap. Has a Poundland which is the best for anything you might need for a pound as opposed to paying more at Sainsbury's
s. B.
Its functional you're in you're out no hard selling no over the top eye catching displays it works for me
A. “. B. T.
Great and varied shopping experience but the parking prices extortionate
A. P. M.

S. A.
It's ok but not sure if there are conveniences around. Also not busy as much as should be.
B. C.
Good shopping centre. Sainsbury's, Iceland, matalan and many others. Dogs not allowed
C. L.
There is a large Sainsbury and Iceland but lots of tatty clothes shops. There is nowhere to sit and parking is expensive.
