Reviews of Fremlin Walk Shopping Centre
T. E.
Nice!
Lots of shops and outlets
Great for shopping variety!
Perfect for a day out and about.
There is a shop for everything and everyone although some shops have closed in the past few months.
t. s.
Everything is Good on part with shopping malls in dubai.
Currently the parking is being upgraded, so Monthly Member Access cards are not working.....
Reentering the parking is also troublesome...
You have to unnecessarily take a ticket. It is temporary so, but however is a definite "damper" to what is other wise a good system...
A. R.
Sad to see some empty shops it was very quiet could do with a few more ladies clothing shops! The high streets are not what they use to be and it's very sad !
A. L.
Franklin Walk is an impressive centre, clean modern with a great 'selection' of shops. Maidstone should be proud of its development of this shopping centre since its construction a few years ago.
s. k.
Good selection of shops and facilities. Not covered shopping centre thus open to the elements;however they do have covered area immediately by shop entrance/exit as this how the shopping centre was designed.Good signs and directions as well as compact centre with most of the main high street stores.Very modern looking shopping centre.
C. B.
When you just want to go shopping at various shops for different items at one stop, this is one of the places to go. Mostly food outlets were crowded.
J. C. (.
Good selection of shops. Probably the best and cleanest part of the town. No pubs so quiet after hours.
E. P.
A decent range of shops and car park close by. The car park is a bit pricey Mon-Sat though
K.
It feels like you are walking in London. I went here and loved it. Didn't know this existed until I saw it lol 😂
L. E.
Good range of shops. Always very clean. Definitely the nicer part of town!!
D. D.
expensive . the last time we went because they moved GAME there , which is a total tragedy.they squeezed several different stores into one place. this place is slowly becoming a marketplace.
A. B.
Decent selection of shops and the area was very clean and tidy.
m. p.
Beautiful walk but security is creepy like it’s a bank and they behave like it’s the parliament they guarding. Not worth the £8.75 from G4S if you ask me. Shopping should be pleasant fun experience don’t ruin it please. Stop shoplifters and keep eye on noisy teens and rude teens not respectful people who there to shop and enjoy the shopping centre
A. A.
It's great to have so many good shops open again
J. H.
Always a joy to visit ..lots of shops and a good choice ...my favourite place to visit
D. C.
A brightly lit space now even brighter thanks to the Christmas Market stalls and decorations.
A. D.
Well laid out shops that are easy to find, clean and well presented, the only let down for me was the exorbitant parking fees, we were there for half an hour before deciding to go to Bluewater and had to pay £2.00 for the car park which is always busy on the weekend and confusing in layout.
im afraid Bluewater for me is a winner, more shops, indoors and parking is free.
N. W.
Stereotypical British high street, parking can be expensive. Good access to the centre of Maidstone town.
P. D.
Very pleasant and clean good quality shops and cafes
M. L.
Just one or 2 more kid shops would make it a 5 for me personally but overall it was good 👍
L. S.
Got here late in afternoon and so most units apart from costa were shut.great place to bird watch though.
D. B.
It's ok but only a few shops worth going 2
A. K.
Nice place for shopping, not too busy on the weekend
M. R.
Plenty of good shops here although some are a tad expensive and seem out of place in this area
S. N.
A quite nice shopping experience here. Easy to park and dedicated free places for motorbikes. There is a Caffe Nero in the Department store, but beware the jobsworth that will stop you using the lifts 5 to 10 mins before they close!
J. D.
Love shopping here good range of shops, hairdressers and restaurants.
H. C.
A very handy selection of mixed shops in one area
S. H.
You can walk around there and it has shops
A.
A few shops to let still, but those that are open are great!
C. K.
Yes plenty shops all off which where open clean tidy all round
N. C.
Mostly full of open shops, just couple of boarded up. Costa and Patissery Valerie next to each other???
E. E.
A street of modern shops in an area that is kept clean
R. P.
It's a shopping centre with er shops in it. Not much more to add really
O. O.
My go-to place in Maidstone for nice clothing and jewelry stores
k. e. o.
This shopping centre is located in the busy high street of Maidstone, so many interesting and exciting stores with lovely items can be found inside, wide pavement with enough spare to observe the Covid-19 protocol.
Nicely cleaned toilet system, some parts of the complex is under renovation but this has not diminished the general architectural beauty of the place. Within reasonable distance from the train station and a bus stop directly opposite.
A. D.
Nice place pretty good for shops but a few empty places
D.
Plenty shopping to do here, everything you'll need
F. A.
Good range of shops. Car park nearby.
D. T.
It's very clean. Selection of shops could be better. But that can't be helped. It was very good that the fremlin walk allowed the Royal legion to collect money for the poppy appeal. Good sense of inclusion.
I. L.
Lovely clean and bright, good selection of shops and restaurants, always love visiting Maidstone!
E. M.
Fabulous variety of shops plenty of places for coffee and cake and a nice variety of restaurants. Very clean toilets always a plus and central in town so close to buses and taxis.
J. L.
Lots of empty units when we went, not revisiting. Was clean, I'll say that atleast.
J. K.
Niceish environment, apart from the smoking aspect, but indicative of the ailing high street I'm afraid.
M. K.
Too many empty shops. Starbucks in House of Fraser needs an update, nit very welcoming and tatty.
S. S.
Avoid range of shops but a bit out off my price bracket, hmv is wonderful as I can remember record shops.
C. C.
Lovely shopping centre , not a great deal of choice of shops but additional to Maidstone High Street ok . Always very clean and tidy
A. G.
A good variety of high street stores that aren't usually found outside big shopping malls
A. J.
First time to this shopping area. Full of well known shops and restaurants.
K. Ø.
A lot of effort has gone into making the place covid safe. Very clean also. Plenty of parking at a reasonable price. I will go back. Really good selection of shops available.
J. C.
Great shopping mall. Loads of variety, good eating places and this time of the year Christmas food stalls too, including hot mulled wine!
S. S.
Very busy. Nice xmas atmosphere. Especially enjoyed the bags by Karen Jane
A. B.
Great range of shops, beautifully decorated, not crowded when we visited. Staff in shops were courteous and engaging.
G.
Friendy staff nice for a coffee
J. H.
A good range of shops, evident security patrols and a nice, cosmopolitan atmosphere. It won't hold your interest for long but it's a good respite from the main high Street.
M. S.
Looking very festive... and always so clean and just feels great in there, lots of different shops
M. C.
This is a great place to shop and wonder around, with a good brand of shops and places for a coffee and something to eat.
A. N.
It's a shopping centre, good variety of shops and stuff...very clean and tidy and well laid out.
L. D.
Nice, family friendly shopping
A. D.
Lots of shops, so I suppose it's doing its job well
W. C.
A goodly number of shops selling clothes, shoes, chocolate, and of course there is the NHS vaccination clinic it's excellent.
G. A.
Unfortunately, due to co-vid 19, it was a limited experience. Many of the shops are due to open soon, so check online before going to see if it is worth the trip for you. Also check opening hours, many are restricted, as is access to the shops, although it was quiet and no long queues anywhere
J. M.
This Lidel store is on the Tovil Road in East Farleigh, Kent .
Always a very stocked supermarket always has 3 tills open .Very great variety of fresh fruits watermelon, sugar melon grapes ,berries strawberries , a good selection of potatoes 4 different types of potatoes. They have a big selection of cheeses.
They have a bakery in store so nice freshly backed cakes on offer.
A fair size carpark , quick turnaround of customers quick service .
B. W.
A variety of well known shops
b. j.
Nice organised and helpful staff. Would revisit when back in area
p.
Big inside alot of shops
T. O.
Best part of maidstone, good variety of clothes shops and coffee shops
P. H.
no real meeting place outside but keeps a clean show
S. V.
Fairly generic but pleasant shopping space. Parking is a pain and not cheap but it has a range of shops and is close to more.
L. S.
Great for shopping. Good mix of shops and coffee shops. Parking overpriced....with queues at busy times. Bit more thought on carpark design would have helped. Having the exit barriers and the ramps to the upper floors in the same area causes unnesscesary queing. Should have put ramps to upper floors as you enter.
C.
Modern and clean with a wide variety of stores. Has added to Maidstone's great shopping experience. Most of the stores are generally on the higher end of high street prices, although it is dotted with the odd value brand. Good coffee shops and now and again the centre is filled with pop up food and entertainment stores usually offering amazing foreign cuisine or items you couldn't buy from the other stores.
Christmas is also great here, well lit up, and almost all the stores are dressed for the season.
A. F. (.
Lovely day, very nice place
J. D.
There is not many shops here, the car park makes it look like it is a shopping centre, but it's not.
The parking is incredibly expensive, I paid £3.40 for 36 minutes.
G. M.
All the great shops in Framlingham walk
J. D. D.
New to the area but will visit loads. Lots of shops that i like a big choice .sure you will be able to buy all you need.
N. R.
Nice place to shop and grab a bite. More upmarket than rest of town
E. T.
Nice little shopping centre with shops that sell at reasonable prices. Great coffee and cake shop inside, think it's called the muffin bakery not 100% sure that's its name but it is something like that. You have to visit it, amazing cakes and fantastic coffee and hot chocolate.
W. M.
Very windy today, however the one-way system is working well. Went in a few places, a few empty stores, but still a good morning out, trying to grow ever-growing kids
L. G.
Shame about the empty shops units BUT the place was clean, the Christmas decorations were nice and it actually felt Christmasy unlike the rest of the town.
J. K. L.
Decent shops, some are closed, town shops are right next to it so not bad overall.
J. B.
Nice place to shop! Many good shops here. It's a little like many other high street for shopping but is pleasant nonetheless. It's particularly good for clothes shopping and had all the usual high Street fashion shops.
j. M.
Nice place.no overly busy which was good (not for them )but me ..and you have to have some 'courage' to walk in in fremlins
l. k.
Spacious place , lots to see
S. D.
A nice shopping area with semi-covered walkway. Fremlin's car park is a lot more expensive than others nearby, and charge a lot more at weekends!! A good Christmas lights display, coupled with wooden stalls along the centre of the walkway, providing food and beverages... Worth a late afternoon or evening visit for the full effect...
C. T.
Spacious outdoor shopping centre with a reasonable variety of shops. Central Maidstone location
T. G.
Leisurely walk round. Good array of shops. Called to reserve clothes I wanted at New Look Mens and it was put aside for me. Great service.
Lots of choice for a snack and a coffee.
D. T.
Fremlin walk is like the "Bluewater " of Maidstone. Multistorey parking close by and a good choice of restaurants all in a short walk .
G. J.
Haven't been to the county town for a long time to shop.
However, this is a relatively modern open air shopping centre the same age as Whitefriar's of Canterbury.
Anchored by House of Fraser, a Boots, H and M and Zara and some other stores. Did have a large Next store ( since closed to move to Eclipse Park).
Parking is difficult in Maidstone and traffic is even worse than Canterbury.
A good shopping experience but really Canterbury these days is not so bad for shopping.
S. S. (. T.
Great set of shops and an easy shopping trip if you need retail therapy. Lots of eateries and coffee shops to take s break too. Security are visible if you need assistance and it’s very clean and tidy.
M. B.
Primark, zara, h&M all offerring amazing sales and offers- I also popped into M&S at the top of Fremlins walk a geeat 0lace with an eclectic array of shops- much better food choice options now too
R. C.
Nice place to shop lots of choice , not to many eating establishments so limited choice most not to my taste .
B. W.
A fair few empty lots, but a great selection of shops. Very clean and nice to walk through.
J. I.
I find fremlin walk shopping centre a great place to go although I only use a few places myself it has shops for all items and budgets . It's also always clean and tidy and throughout the year they always do little events and bits which is good fun for kids.
The only downside is that whenever I go there, it seems there is always a pane of glass that over hangs the shops broken. I don't know how they keep breaking but I would have thought they'd of change what they used by now.
R. H.
Not really a shopping centre more of an eatery place with a few shops. Now the House of Fraser is just a cloths shop we have no need to go there.
A. M.
Keeps improving. Hosts some high end retailers all side by side so very convenient. Can get busy at weekends but that's to be expected. Always clean and tidy. Parking expensive though.
Z. E.
Nice place. Good location. Different types of shops. Close to high street. Close to Medway river.
C. R.
First visit to this open air shopping area in Maidstone. Lots of interesting shops and stores here including Build a Bear. We went with our young granddaughter and she was thrilled to bits with her lovely cuddly bear.
G. D.
Boosting 760 Car parking spaces and 28 parking spaces for shoppers with disabilities(wheelchair hire available). FREE for Motocycles, located just inside both entrances. Something different is there 'Queit room' for shoppers that need that alittle queit break from busy shoppers also they provide a seprate quiet room for mothers in the need of breast feeding with feeding facilities and baby changing facilities plus toilets. Offering plenty of dinning /coffee bars. Large House of Frazer Outlet. HMV, JD, H&M, Super dry. the full store list is available on the Fremiln Walk website..... Aways very clean and pleasant with an array of higher class stores.
M. J.
Very nice and clean outdoor shopping mall type of idea, with some rain cover down each side in front of the shop entrances. Good shops including a big house of Fraser as the flagship store at one end. Multi level parking you have to pay for but still terribly busy at weekends and generally causes traffic backing up the A229 into Maidstone.
D. G.
An open air shopping area with a good range of shops. There are a large number of fashion retailers here and a short walk away on Week Street there is a further choice clothes shops. With a multi storey car park less than a minutes walk away and public toilets (ladies were very clean and well stocked on my visit). There are lifts too from this car park for disabled access to Fremlins and adjoining roads as Maidstone town centre has a couple of steep hills.
TIP:- traffic here gets busy and car parks fill up quickly, so get here early if going on a weekend.
K. M.
Various amount of different stores to help with your retail therapy needs.
N. S.
Most shops you would expect in a town centre, except Next. They have a huge store now out of town. Fremlin walk has its own car park although it's pretty expensive, accessible with lifts etc for puschairs. The 'walk' itself has House of Fraser one end and M&S right at the top and all the other usual suspects in between.
S. V.
Ladies in Roman went out of their way to help us
G. H.
Visited Hotel Chocolat for birthday treat
V. N.
Town centre shopping with all major shops around with step free access. Nicely outstanding from the rest of the town centre at Maidstone. Restaurants and bars are just a minute walk away and Maidstone East Station isn't longer walk then five minutes walk. Clean and tidy.
J. J.
I work there and it's a nice place to do shopping.
N. M.
1 mens clothes shop,
3 coffee shops, Iceland, sports direct. Need I say anymore.
L. S.
Always a bright and cheery stroll.
I. C.
Still very clean with good social distancing measures, only thing is its sad to see so many shops now closed or not yet open with really long queues
L. W.
A good selection of high end shops with some lower end shops as well, which I feel shouldn't be there, the Mall has the everyday shops and lower end shops, so these other shops should be there. I don't go to the Fremlim Walk that often, but when I do I want it to feel like a treat where I am buying something special.
H. J. W.
I love Fremlin walk! Not just to shop at but also to work at, the area is always kept nice and clean. I can't praise the security enough for keeping all violence and hooligans out of Fremlin and saying hello to me. When ever I'm in work they always come in and check there is no trouble and to see how everything is. As I said, brilliant staff that put together lovely experience for both shoppers and workers.
J. B.
Car parking easy, multistorey leading straight onto the shopping walk, £4 for 4 hours which is better than some. Lots of high street shops and places for lunch, coffee and cake. Enough to fill an afternoon shopping.
R. C.
Great selection of shops
W.
An assortment of retailers to visit. Clothing, Homeware, accessories, jewellery and Patisserie Valerie for beverages, cakes and sandwiches. We always have a cream tea!! Fabulous, sweet treats.
S. B.
This is a fairly long walk partially covered (just outside the shop doors are covered- the main walk isn’t)
There is a real cross section of shops along here from House of Fraser and Early Learning Centre, Boots and H&M to Smiggle and Clinton Cards, Barclays Bank and Beaverbrooks.
You probably could get most things you wanted along here. They have a Build-a-Bear, JD sports and HMV too (there are a lot more shops than that too) and they have their own security which makes you feel a lot more confident shopping around especially in the run up to Christmas etc.
Down the middle of the walk they sometimes have things going on, sometimes it could be stalls like photo on canvas sellers who make them while you wait or popcorn and drink sellers too but other times they have little events on too which always bring the crowds in.
There are lots of entrances to Fremlin Walk for pedestrians and a multi storey car park. From what I understand the car park is quite expensive but I guess if you need it -you need it!! If you’re worried about this, there are other car parks around the area though.
If you’re going here, enjoy and please give my review a thumbs up if it helped you.
Thanks
o. b.
Pretty poor quality paving slabs, but there are lots of bins (and we all love slot of bins don't we) car park is expensive at best and has a level 2 golem patrolling the third floor. lots of shops though which I believe is the main selling point. Most of the shops look good from the street but when you step inside are mainly filled with existential dread and contempt at the world that spawned them.
M. B.
Not really a shopping center in the traditional sense, more of a new build street in a pedestrianised part of town. Built on the site of the Fremlins brewery with the clock and arch entranceway still accessible from Earl street. Selection of the usual high street brands, toilets and covered parking on site.
R. C.
Not mentioning the shops within the actual centre, this is attractive enough, partially covered along the sides so you'll probably get wet if it's raining and there's a nice bit of seating dotted around if its not. The parking is quite pricey, so make sure you read the signs before you commit to a space. The toilets close when the shops do, or before so don't hold out for them if you need them.
L. B.
Parking abit expensive but overall a good choice of shops and lots of parking spaces
M. T.
We like the modern and clean setting and the attached parking in the multistorey. Also like the way the Main thoroughfare meanders around in a curve which adds interest. House of Frazer is a really good store and we love the Waterstones for its books and coffee shop. The Top shop is well visually merchandised and a good experience. The Pret a Manger is fast and efficient. Overall for the whole centre- a very good afternoon out shopping.
p. r.
It's normal straight forward shopping! Plenty of shops, usual offering of large chains with a few independents. Plenty of tea and coffee places and loads of places to eat in the neighbouring roads. Go to Buddha Belly on the corner of pudding Lane for a cheap decent blowout!
R. H.
Nice shopping centre with a decent range of different shops and food and drink outlets
P. M.
Nice selection of shops on open street for pedestrians. Always seems very busy with tons of people when I've visited. Good parking available.
M. D.
This should be a more pleasant experience than it is. Thought has clearly gone into the design, but for a wheelchair user it's not entirely ideal. Lifts were out of order in the car park, and signage to help me get up to the shopping centre non-existent, resulting in me having to wheel around and exit via a vehicle barrier.
Once I finally got up there, it all felt dull, grey and sterile. A bit of a wasteland. It's a shame, but I guess it fits with the rest of that part of the town centre which is down at heel and uninspiring. A place where retail dreams came to die.
J. S.
All the high street favourites in a clean, spacious pedestrian only environment. Use of either 'park and ride' recommended. Watch out for the hug roast stall and see if you can resist the temptation till lunchtime.
B. M.
Got some nice interesting shops here (Waterstones, HMV, House of Frazer, Boots). I miss Maidstone.
E. C. S.
Good variety of shops but mainly seems to be higher end stuff. There is some cover but its not fully indoors so bear in mind with weather.not sure on parking.
D. D.
Love to take a walk round
S. J.
Great shopping area in pleasent pedestrianised open air surroundings with cafes and only a stones throw from the museum and town centre park
G. W.
Really pleasant design and a good selection of shops with clean public WC and good parking facilities. Just could do with improving further along Week street so surrounding area is better.
L. E.
Not a very good selection of shops and isnt that nice inside sadly, would only really go there for something specific as isnt exactly a nice place to visit however was clean at least
M. K.
Good shopping place, lots of good shops. Zara,H&M,River Island,House of Fraser,Builder Bear..ect plus caffes and other stores, jewelry, stationery, all you need you can find there.
J. Z.
A lot of parfume and a few other.:) The fremlin walk is nice.
M. D.
Nice sheltered departmental store . Good variety of high brow goods .
D. H.
Nice range of shops. A couple public toilet areas in Fremlins Walk. Several nice places to eat. It's a nice shopping area, with a large House of Fraser at the far end.
A. P.
Really nice open plan, feels like an outdoor mall. Good shops, security are always about and well maintained. Bit small on shop selection, but has nice brands there.
A. A.
Very clean, modern, open roof shopping centre /street featuring many popular high street labels such as Pandora, Hotel Chocolat, House of Fraser, Superdry and Fat Face including several coffee shops and cafés. If you don't find what you fancy eating on the Walk you'll definitely find something to tickle your taste buds in the adjacent street which is dominated by restaurants and eateries. A fantastic shopping day out whether you are buying or just browsing!
A. L.
got our new holiday cases in House of Fraser x great staff
I. L. C. (.
Great place to shop, has about everything.
S. T.
Good walk, could do with a a few more niche shops butt very nice style
L. E.
I like to shop here not a huge selection of shops and a few are brands shop so a bit expensive. Also lots of restaurants around and pubs.
M. C.
This is just a couple of modern pedestrian streets with the standard modern shops in. Looks good against the majority of Maidstone though.
M. A.
Nice atmosphere with clean calm streets, sadly doesn't have an urban outfitters which I would have liked except other shops are very nice such as top shop, zara, river island etc.
J. E.
Fairly decent selection of shops and paved area always looks smart and clean. There is ample parking however pricing of parking is a little steep.
L. H.
Neat, clean, stylish and colourful with a good array of shops from Superdry to Waterstones and Laura Ashley. My favourite shopping part of Maidstone. Don't park at Fremlin Walk though because it is much more expensive than the local Maidstone Borough Council car parks (which are not particularly cheap).
S. P.
Great selection of shops and good parking options just bear in mind it can get super busy during holiday seasons
P. L.
Lovely setup, decent location, shame a few empty units
D. R.
A nice shopping area on a sunny day, but car park shoots up in price on weekends/Bank Holidays, so it is better to park in one of the many council car parks or at The Mall (Chequers Centre).
J. P.
All the shops you need in one place. Nice to be in the open air too.
J. U.
Most of shops r still here a couple av gone but still a good shopping place
C. W.
Great place with nice shops and interestingly a Costa in waterstones. Its like grabbing a coffee in a library!😁
It's nice at Christmas because you get little Street stalls selling food.
G. S.
Some good shops here particularly if you're after fashion. At peak times it is hard to find a space in the attached car park and exiting can take a long time. Expensive parking too.
S. H.
Nice pedestrian shopping area in town with a good selection of shops. Close to the other main shopping areas and has a good car park that usually has spaces.
J. C.
Many shops including M&S, Primark and House of Frazer. Plenty of places to eat. Bills, Nando’s and Cafe Rouge. Also has a Costa. Lots to do and see. Come by bus, train or car.
R. G.
Has everything you'd expect from a shopping centre except it's an outdoors layout with street vendors selling doughnuts and burgers as well.
Probably a better summertime visit but good all the same
D. H.
Busy. I only used the car park here to access gabriel hill. The usual 20 to30 year olds ignorantly walking about in big close groups and expecting older people to dodge them.
K. R.
Nice mooch around the shops!
D. C.
A nice shady setting for specialised shops. New and used mobile phones, craft shop and others, well worth a look you never know what you might find, that you didn't know you was looking for.
H. G.
Nice shopping centre to get a few nice gifts or to treat yourself. There are a number of little side streets with bars and additional shops near by so it's good to take a wonder
A. W.
Nice shops lovely lunch not too busy
E. T.
The improvements are making it better, the child friendly toilets are a big plus! A decent variety of shops for a mixed public.
A. E.
Lovely just such a shame there are alot of empty shops
J. F.
A well designed variation on a high street. More commercial property then you generally find in Maidstone. As it is patrolled and cleaned during business hours you find that there are no road side sales people or the overly abundant beggers that litter the rest of the town.
S. P.
Very clean place to shop, lots off shops and cafes
C. S.
didnt think too much of htis new outlet its choice of shops is limited to the flashy and quite pricey .it isnt esthetically pleasing either .however people are willing to spend their hard earned there so there must be somthing not sure what it is but theres something !
M. L.
Many shops to go into. They have been very smart and done one way systems to help keet us safe due to corona visus.
A. D.
Nice shopping centre. Parking was very busy.
M. C.
Love this shop bought a gorgeous blouse
L. C.
Nice place to shop and The Mall parking is even easier now.
D. C.
Good range of stores, from 'designer' brands to everyday shopping. Links to other shopping street - all pedestrianized, so child friendly.
N. D.
Lots of shopping choice, coffee shops, seconds away from the main strip of the town's restaurants. Easy parking, although not the cheapest on the weekend, but not city prices.
K. S.
All good, nice shopping Center and a lot of spaces to leave your car 👍
J. B.
Good mix of outlets available. TJ Hughes is back and well worth exploring as it has some excellent bargains all year round.
Coffee places abound from Greggs to a more artisan place upstairs called "bb's". Good coffee there and they do the usual you'd expect like cakes, muffins and sandwiches etc.
M. T.
Excellent all safety measures are in place for a safe happy visit
D. M.
Always a nice place to visit.. always clean & inviting, worth the shopping trip...
Especially joyous around Christmas.
J. U.
Has lots of shops coffee shops etc depends what u r looking 4 lots of shops gone aswell which is sad
I. J.
It was 8pm and the shops were closed. Perfect
S. W.
Okay but a bit expensive.maidstone town is not Very good too many pub's café it's dirty and sorry to say too many thrives about shame. Maidstone has missed a fantastic opportunity here as it is the second biggest town after Ashford the tunnel brings in visitors . think about it Maidstone you have a great river side natural beauty Spot. instead of café all over the town .boat rides all kinds of fun need I say more. Thank you
A. Y.
Plenty of parking, a wide variety of shops and nice eateries!
D. S.
If you want to shop, this is the place. It's got lots of shops, and some of them are open. The car park is a bit pricey, though.
E. B.
Good place to browse, but too many clothes shops and restaurants and coffee shops. Could do with more variety of retailers
L. R.
Some good shops here, parking is expensive in the Fremlin multistorey, but apart from that, I like shopping here
j. c.
It isn't as it was before the pandemic. So many empty shops now. A real shame.
A. N. (.
I like outlet shops more than indoor shops because you can go outside easily to have a nice fresh air
C. G.
Good shops and places to eat. Very poor parking prices (especially at weekends) which indicates greed rather than any other reasons.
A.
Offers an OK shopping experience though super convenient for some.
C. P.
All kind of shops in the heart of Maidstone. It's even possible just to drink a coffe and enjoy some time. Very hard to park in.
S. M.
Nothing particularly special however is the nicest part of Maidstone to shop in which isn't saying very much
A. R.
Nice shopping centre with different types of shops suitable for everyone
C.
Very clean and always feel safe here due to there being quite a lot of security staff and never seen any threatening type of people hanging around like you get in most shopping areas.
A. C.
Much nicer part of Maidstone to do a bit of shopping (in my opinion!!) Fair mix of shops - looking good with the xmas lights and xmas food vendors.
N. H.
Good selection of shops, not too crowded
J. T.
The shopping centre is good. It does not feel like a traditional shopping centre but there is all in one place. Lovely
Y. H.
Nice little shopping area. Easy to park
t. p.
Good shopping....bad parking
P.
Nice place, good selection of outlets, reasonable parking, can get very busy (crowded) but that's a good sign really.
S. A.
Very clean and colourful location housing all your favourite brands.
Y.
Good selection of stores, clean and tidy. Visible security presence. Has attached car park and cash points.
R. G.
Good verity of shops with toilet facilities and a multistorey car park
D. G.
Good selection of shops but always leaves a sour taste as parking charges are exorbitant. Well located in centre of town however.
C. “. C.
Lots of good quality clothes shops, cafe's a Boots, stationery and jewellery establishments. Multi-story car parking too.
A. D. C.
Fremiln walk is great loads of shops and loads of clothes , 2 or 3 womens clothes here aswell as HMV , perfect too visit xmas tottaly
C. D.
Nice strip of shops and in a good central location. The only reason it is not 5* is because the parking is way over priced compared to the rest of town.
J.
Great shops and stalls. I was surprisingly impressed.
C. B.
Has all the best shops. Nice and clean environment too.
S. C.
Very clean and tidy
R. N.
Good place to shop but cafes now only doing take aways.
M. H.
Shopping centre is nice, however we only used to multi storey car park once on our first ever visit to Maidstone prior to moving here in April and I have vowed never to use the Fremlin Walk car park again as it took half an hour, once in, to reach the almost empty top level to actually park the car, then an hour to actually get out of the car park due to the poor layout of the car park.
S. A.
Nice shipping centre with an array of shops available which are suitable for most people... Many shops on side streets and a large bowling centre close by for some fun.
A. T.
Fremlin walk has a good mix of shops for whatever you are after and also a good amount of coffee shops to choose from and it also has its own car park and lifts to the shops from the lower floor.
S. R.
Just a standard generic shopping centre, would be nice to have independent stores with unique products alongside the larger chains.
J. H.
A nice easy place to get around just a shame the parking costs so much! And we wonder why people choice to go to blue water instead now days 😐
S. C. (.
The place to go for shopping in Maidstone, apart from slightly expensive parking this is where most people go for they're chain shops in Maidstone. It looks nice and is very open with a vast selection of shops which primarily sell clothes.
J. S.
Clean and modern looking shopping area. We like it here as there is a good mix of shops, pubs and restaurants. Parking is good too.
A. A.
Small to medium size shopping centre. As name suggests it is layed out as street level pedestrian area. Usual range of main stream shops. Large House of Fraiser store, laura Ashley ect.
M. S.
The sightly less unpleasant part of Maidstone for shopping. Expensive parking and no roofing over the shopping area mean you can be poor and wet simultaneously, saving valuable time.
J. S.
Good range of shops, and it's easy to get what you need here. Also cofes and food available.
V. W.
Good facilities and parking with wide ranging shops
C.
Nice atmosphere, good selection of shops, couple of food stalls as well as normal food outlets.
C. D.
Beautiful place to spend a day
K. W.
Wonderful place, shops for all your needs, from book stores, to body care, to restaurants. A great place to explore even with only a little money.
P. W.
Wide range of high street outlets including House of Fraser. Pedestrian precient with on street hot food stalls and wide range of cafe and coffee outlets. Car parking quite expensive... About £2.20 for less than a couple of hours.
d. v.
Not a bad place to shop ideal if you want a cup of coffee as there are loads of cafes maybe to many
D. B.
full of shops that are the same in any place you would go. If you like expensive then visit. Fremlin walk car park is also very busy and takes ages to get in to and then costs the earth. Avoid
S. G.
Usual high street stores with a few 'higher end' stores thrown into the mix. Good multi level parking available (card and cash payments accepted)
M. M. M.
Fremlins Walk is a Walkway of that Curves through a Selection of Retailers, (Shops).

M. B.

s. d.
Plenty of shops and some great deal available .
E. H.
Very nice town shopping centre.
L. M.
Pret and Fatface within 20m of each other. What more can you ask for? My wife can browse whilst I drink coffee and read my book. It doesn't get much better than that.
E. R.
Always love shopping here but not for husbands..they always wait outside shops...they should supply chairs and newspapers for them 😂
D. B.
O2 guru too busy to see me despite appointment, but it was Saturday 4pm.
Despite this a very helpful young man sorted my problem.
Hempstead Valley is my preferred store as I can book appt and be seen.
R. C.
Nice selection of shops

Decent shops but parking is very expensive. Would recommend going bluewater instead as shops are far bigger, free parking and not full of chavs.
R. J.
Very nice design and has a fair few shops leads into the town with even more shops. Lots of places to eat and drink.
S. N.
👍

I quite like Fremlin Walk, it is one of the better shopping areas of Maidstone for certain shops.
Lots of places to eat and just chill out with friends or family.
S. J. E.
Love the lay out of the shops... hate the one way system that you have to negotiate to get there in the car 😑.... car park is very accessible but you pay the price for accessibility.
S.
Nice place to go to as it has good shops to choose from like House of Fraser, Laura Ashley, Zara, Fat Face.. Etc.
However parking might be a bit expensive!
A. W.
Good place to shop, may it continue. Many high street shops are closing so fremlin walk is a great place to go
S. P.
Although the parking seems quite pricey compared to neighbouring town center, the structure and the layout of shops is really good .
J. S.
Good range of shops. Some nice upscale ones, just off of the main highstreet. Good for clothes, food and jewellery.
m. c.
Clean good selection of shops but some empty so room for more, not more phone shops.

A great range of mid-range shops and has a refreshingly more upmarket feel to the rest of the dreary town centre
