Such a great vibe over the weekend. Do book online if you get a chance. Not all stores are open after 6pm so do have a look online before making plans. They have a photo booth where you can get 3 strips of photos for £4. Hope they could introduce time for dancing.

Not my first time here, but decided to rate it... good vibes, good music with live performances and DJS throughout the evening and the night. I enjoyed my night, but the drinks were quite pricey. I also ordered loaded cheesy fries from one of their tavern and it came hot and looked nice. But the potatoes underneath all that exaggerated cheese were like mash and it didn't have much seasoning (4.80£ it was) and I don't think it was worth it.

This giant bearded guy that looked like a blacksmith from a bygone era made me a delicious reuben sandwich at kongs stall. I've been an expert of sandwiches for many years after a gruelling 15 year sandwich artist in residence in moss sides first subway and I know a beauty when I see, feel and taste it. What a great space, an excellent idea that brings diversity and choice into an outdoors/indoors setting. From cocktails to pints, burgers to Korean food there is something for everyone. The system in place for ordering and table service is easy to use, staff are great, friendly and fast. DJ to add some background atmosphere amongst the friendly chatter.

What can I say, I was blown away by how unique this place is. Firstly it's all table service so you can relax and have a choice of various food shops or alcoholic drinks. Plus if you get the app some places give you 10% off. Deals all through the week, friendly staff and just a cool atmosphere and location. When I'm next in Manchester I will be hitting this up for sure. If your near Oxford Street train station it's only minutes away and definitely worth a visit

Second time going and even better than the first. Food was amazing and so was the little DJ set they had going on. The best way to think of this place is like the Trafford Centre but situated outdoors. I've yet to see the shops but mainly stop here for food and drinks. 100% would go again.

Hatch is one of our favourite places to eat, drink and chill out in Manchester, so we were thrilled when they offered us some space and absolutely epic hospitality for our recent book launch - The Roadie Cookbook, a charity fundraiser created by road crew. Not only did the venue really care about our mission - the book is raising funds for Mental Health First Aid training for live music workers - but they welcomed our guests, including local food writers, touring professionals and our DJ! We had such a great time, and they even let us come back to MorMor, one of the many great restaurants on site, to do some press filming later in the week. Big thanks to James, Siobhan and the entire Hatch team for making our book launch perfect! : ) If you're after a fun event space where there's something for everyone and a great atmosphere all night, Hatch is it!

Good experience with a market-style offer of food and drink options which you can order to your table using their app. Seating is outside, so not the most comfortable although there is some cover and heat lamps. The range of food choices makes this an ideal place for groups, as everyone can choose what they'd like. I was impressed with the quality and quick service for the pizza I had.

I was invited to Hatch by a friend who is aware that I am vegan with the promise of some good options. Well what can I say - this place is amazing. Great selection of super healthy vegan food. Not only that there was live music & outdoor sheltered and heated areas to sit. You can either order food online to the table or wander around the various stalls to select your food & again have it brought to your table. Love the atmosphere and zi would liken it to Covent Garden in London. In summary you must try it out - you wont be disappointed.

Should have option for both payment directly as well as the app. Why make something so simple so complicated - if you come often the app makes sense, but if you're visiting once you just want to pay and get your food or drinks.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Could I say that it is one of the coolest place of the entire city. Located under inner Manchester road, the place is sprawl with different eateries and other retail units such as vintage shops or barbershop. The restaurant options are huge and the visitor can choose between different types of food. In the middle of the venue, there is a stage where concerts are held each week mostly on weekends. Also, the venue is full of tables to have your meal and enjoy the concerts. The place is frequented by young people. Maybe the only drawback is that the music sometimes is so loud that you cannot hear what someone is saying to you.

I've you've been to Macky Mayor this is similar in some ways....lots of different bars/food places and you can order from different ones on the app. I went on a Friday night in December, it's mostly (kinda?) outdoor tables, they had heaters which helped to stay warm. They had a band on the stage which was great but the music was VERY loud leaving it difficult to hear us all talk at our table. Would definitely go again 🙂

Fantastic location... food, drinks, entertainment, and a host of other small outlet stores.. central as you can get, just 2 mins walk from the amazing kimpton clocktower hotel. Enjoyed our visit. This location is perfect for less mobile folk, the ground is suitable for mobility scooters and sticks. We visited with three disabled friends, that loved the trip and two of our group were able to consume their legal prescribed medical cannabis vapes, there are several areas which are so well ventilated, we didn't even notice they'd taken their medication. Great place, can't begin to say how great it was to take folk out on the centre of Manchester, we felt totally safe and also really engaged in the heart of the city. Although we were still in lockdown when visited the venue was a great experience. Works better, in my opinion, than the similar Freight Island but not as busy or ober-filled with people. Plus it's proximity to the new development of Circle Square places it in the centre of Manchester with all of the hype and popularity you expect from this new rejuvenated city location. A great place to meet with all of your friends within walking distance of the main city centre tram lines.

Felt like this place was a hidden gem. Only came here by accident looking for somewhere else. glad I did. Such a diverse market place with things I'd never tried before, from alcoholic jams to different styles of halloumi cheese. New place to grab a coffee or have a quick snap along oxford road, there’s a courtyard in the middle of the compound, I wouldn’t say the price is budget friendly but worth a try. The stalls in the compound doesn’t seem to open consistently as it’s still relatively new. The place has a nice ambience to it with potential for growth.

Nice place to go for day drinking and food, communial/ common area tables situation a little confusing. Ordered food and drink from web app and it worked really well. Food was good no matter which vendor ordered from. From a distancing point of view: well thought out, not crushed in and track and place set up. You are assigned a table on arrival (for two hours)and then you're meant to move to a bars tables, only problem is that the tables all look the same :s. Overall had a top day out and about with good food and drink.

The music is too loud. It's alright if you don't want to talk to anyone but if you're there to see your mates you've not seen in months you'd need to go elsewhere to talk to them. Can't think of anything attractive in having the music so loud, it's not a music venue, people. Food selection is poor and the ordering system weird. Also, the deals some of the traders have written on the menus are more expensive or not available in the app.

Are very well set up well to deal with pandemic restrictions. The app you order through means that food is delivered to your table and social distancing was adhered to well. Unfortunately, this definitely takes away from the experience, as you can't peruse the shops, bars, and restaurants whilst you are restricted to sitting at one table the entire time. Obviously, this is unavoidable currently and is not anyone's fault. From what we could spy from our table, it looks to be an interesting smorgasbord to choose from under regular circumstances.

I love Hatch but have recently found my visits less enjoyable. One reason is the ordering system; it takes FOREVER if you're wanting to order a variety of food from different vendors. The staff are pretty lax when it comes to Covid rules and don't really wear masks etc. Feel like the toilets could be cleaner as well. If hygiene was stepped up slightly I'd be happy to return and support these wonderful businesses.

We visited the hatch for something to eat a couple of nights ago. Couple of things upfront, it's loud, not designed for people who can't cope with their fingers getting a bit messy before going in and from an age demographic perspective, being in my early 40s, I was certainly in the geriatric side. If you haven't worked this out before going though then you didn't look the place up so I've not knocked off anything from my rating for this. The hatch works on the idea that you order, using your phone, from one or more of multiple food outlets that deliver to your table. It's a bit of a clunky system if you're looking for perfection as if you're ordering from different places for different people on the table (can be necessary as not all outlets have veggie options and choice is one of the attractions) then you have to complete an order from one before starting again from another even though It's all in one website. That said our food, from different places, arrived near enough at the same time and very quickly although not exactly with a smile! Unfortunately there were quite a few closed outlets which did reduce the choice and one that kept opening and closing but still loads of choice and great speed of service plus good value to boot. This is probably a marmite place. My son and I liked the variety and taste of the food plus the energy but can certainly see it wouldn't be everyone's thing.

Great food and drink, some really good outlets. Their Covid response is poor: -Getting seated is poorly managed and often there are queues to get in despite many free tables inside. -The app requires 4g (given you're under the Mancunian way and inside metal boxes it doesn't really work). Also many people have had issues logging in to the app. -Many tables left uncleared or wiped, and it's not obvious which are ready for use again.

It’s a new concept bar/place, there are few artisan shops, breweries and coffee shop. It’s an outdoor open space but few places having their own seating room inside. Got a few people and can’t decide what to eat or where to go, head on to Hatch where everyone will be happy On a nice day, it feels like being on holiday because of the outdoors. Though, Hatch is probably good on a rainy day too with plenty of places to take cover. It’s a good location for a chilled out evening with a dj on stage and deckchairs to save your legs. There are lots of other food places in Hatch that we are intrigued by, so expect more on Hatch!
