K. S.I’ve been visiting this place regularly since my (more) local shop was priced out by energy costs. It’s a great place, friendly and knowledgable staff and worth the extra miles to get there. Great stock of fish, plants, food and accessories. Nothing but good experiences so far. My kids love going to see Nigel (the puffer) and the cat that hangs around the shop 👍
A. m. H.We love our visits to this shop. We buy both pond supplies and tropical fish supplies. We had a new external pond filter over a year ago, have followed the advice given and our pond is crystal clear. My tropical fish set up is so relaxing for our family. We love them, everyone has a turn is picking out new fish 🐟 Staff are amazing, so friendly with a never ending list of knowledge and advice.
R. L.Been here twice now. First time was to just browse and ask for some advice about my new aquarium. The second was today to purchase some shoaling tropical fish. They had these rare Red Neon Blue-Eyed Rainbow so I had to have them. The guy in the shop was really lovely and helped us choose these fish and gave advice.
The first time I went in to browse, I mentioned to the staff that I wasn't going to buy but wanted some advice. Other places wouldn't have given me much time of the day as not getting any money from me. Not here though! The guy took me all around the shop to show me all the fish that would work and what he would recommend. Spent a good 20 minutes just walking around the shop with me pointing the fish out, giving great advice and being really helpful. Because of this first visit, I came back today to buy some fish, and I won't go any other place now for my aquatics needs. Thanks Kidsgrove Tropicals 😊
a. b.Never been here before; it was recommended to me by a friend. It's bigger inside than you expect, the front half being dedicated to aquariums. At the back is another part with the equipment for ponds. Prices seem fine and I was able to get everything I wanted.
D. M.I can not reccomend this shop and all of its staff enough. They are an amazing team and so knowledgeable and helpful, and always happy to help. The shop is fully loaded with livestock and all food, tanks and accessories you could possibly need. I never shop anywhere else.

E.Excellent shop , i had an ongoing problem with my water readings until i visited this shop , brilliant knowledge my tank is nearly ready for some new fish and i will certainly get them from kidsgrove aquatics . These guys are fab , worth travelling an extra few miles to get perfection ! Great selection of fish and everything you need to keep them healthy and happy .

I recently had fish from pets at home and they were very bad quality and got whitspot straight away
I used to go to glovers but the choices were always the same so I’m glad to find this place
The fish I had are doing great the plants are thriving and the prices were great
