O. B.Lecht 2090 is based 2090 feet (645m) above sea level in the heart of Scotland’s largest National Park Cairngorms. It is a year-round Highland activity centre with 20 maintained ski runs and 14 lifts. T. S.Brilliant days skiing on new years day. Not like the alps, but to be able to drive up for a day and ski in Scotland I couldn't be happier! Highly recommend checking out this resort, keep an eye on the forecasts because when there is fresh snow and a clear sky it can be truly fantastic!

D. H.The snow was much better than I was expecting which made up for the lack of runs that were open. Lecht does not have a rocky base so when the snow is not very deep you don't ruin your board/ski very easy which is a massive plus.
Only problem is, there is only one chair lift, the rest are button lists.
The runs here are quite short but still good fun, some of the runs have steep sections that you can gain quite a lot of speed.
The slopes were not very busy and I never had to que for a lift.
Overall I had a great morning here but think I would struggle to spend longer unless I was using the park.

H. M.The Lecht 2090 was an ideal place to learn how to ski for us. It had a easy beginners slopes and then a more challenging (but still for beginners/or moderate skiers) slope which was ideal - the snow machine meant we were snowing in 7 degrees! The staff were lovely and friendly. There is a big cafe with food and drinks available. Lots of ski gear to hire like skis, boots, helmets, but also another place where you can hire (or buy) salopettes etc
D. B.The runs are shorter than the other resorts but the queues are generally shorter. The harder runs are genuinely steep.
Great place for beginners especially young ones now that they have a magic carpet.
J. H.On a good snow day the lecht is as good as anywhere, I put a nice line down some fresh powder and fresh corduroy. But for me this place is all about inclusive family snow time, the penguin Park is ideal for the under 8 age limit it serves, with rings that tow round and round, or little skis and mini boards too. Theres the serpent slalom and hoops to amuse learning kids using the handy rope tow. All without fear of a larger rider taking out a kid. When being run by Jock things are even better, he is so kind hearted and helpful with the kids getting them involved and giving them a great snow day! So thank you Jock you really made my kids days! Outside of the penguin Park the family can also use two magic carpets to easily get up small slopes for practice. A slow poma with assistance is also available and a bar tow for progression. I fact most of the poma drag lifts are pretty good not as aggressive as many resorts. The three pack seat is a great asset too, keeping the queues down and provides a great long run.
Where improvements could really be made is better piste signage and labeling, it's unclear which is pisted and which is open hill until you have committed yourself!
The ski hire queues are daft I recommend picking some up elsewhere the day before. The website is really unclear and doesn't advertise the lecht well for the winter (kind of makes it a hidden gem) and updates are hit and miss so check their Facebook page!
A. T.Like this place, far cheaper for kids lessons than aviemore which i could not see the justification was near European cost. Wasn't much snow unfortunately warm weather seen to that, take food with you its expensive and awful, the chicken was nuked that much it was a piece of balsa wood.
V. X.Nice coffee shop and bar with views of the slopes, hours of fun looking at beginners. Skiing, well... it is Scotland: short slopes and often windy.
R. S.Not being a skier or boarder I headed up my family hoping to ski or board I asked at the hire for some help but got nothing. It wasnt great conditions and it mistake been affecting the guys mood, walked away with out hiring anything. Will try again next year.

W tym czasie było niewiele śniegu, ale był mokry i można było zrobić np.igloo. Przykrą niespodzianką było brak otwartego parkingu i trzeba było szukać miejsca na poboczu. Mimo wszystko - ładne miejsce.
