I prefer Mountain Warehouse to Cotswolds Outdoors and Blacks for its affordable products. Remember to buy hiking boots with strong ankle support, virbam soles, and isodry features. Moreover, the one I bought also has reflective features for trekking in the dark. These are easy to break into as they’ve softshell as opposed to the leather ones (Extreme Latitude). Mountain Warehouse keeps having sales upto 70% and honestly I got this pair for merely £45, originally for £150. SUCH A STEAL!

Some prices in store don't quite marry with the website, however staff are happy to adjust at the till to match when prompted. The store has only one changing room, so you can feel rushed when trying things on. I would say for the ladies best to go with a friend so they can man the curtain. Whilst the range in store is vast, not all sizes and colours are stocked, but the staff are happy to order what you need. The prices as always are fantastic. The manager is very helpful but the other members of staff seemed to lack team morale and energy to help.

It is the place to get gear up. It has everything needed for a trek, for a trip, for the day to day. They have good prices and good quality. Worth to have a look. They have usually an area of stock at discounted prices for men and for women. The students get discount even i. Discounted items. There something in the shop for everyperson of any age and size. And the place is a bit like a hands on so you have to look for the stuff ask the staff and look around as they do a prety good displays and change the stock from one place to another as they recei e new stock. An outdoor shop in a central location that always seems to have a sale on. Upstairs is predominantly clothing for men women and limited stuff for kids. Downstairs is shoes, outdoor kit and sometimes sale items. They often have skiing kit offers on. The staff are knowledgable and friendly. You can also order online and pick up here too.
