I'm so glad I found this martial art supplier. I'd ordered previously and it was delivered within a few days. When I hadn't received my 2nd order I rang up and the guy couldn't have been more helpful. Royal mail lost my order and playwell sent out a replacement, of which I received today. Superb customer service. Fantastic quality.

I purchased two tai chi practice swords. When they arrived I found that they had rust on the blades. I contacted playwell and they offered me a £15:00 refund on each sword, which I would have taken but they were for a presentation so I requested a refund. I can say that it was dealt with in a professional manner and I received a complete refund from them. Good service thank you.

Prices and selection for Eskrima gear is awesome! Customer service was both timely and polite. I experienced one incident where my the shipping included with my original payment had misquoted shipping. Customer service informed me that they would need to charge more to ship. I explained that the sudden change made me uncomfortable with following through on my order and I was refunded immediately. I fully anticipate that I will be ordering from them again in the future!

Pre ordered the Playwell branded heavy bag, a couple of weeks ago; which is an amazing bag btw! Great quality, nice and heavy and well stuffed! I'm glad I got it early, as I wouldn't be surprised to see this selling at a higher price in the future, it's that good! Amazing service; originally called for another punch bag but it was out of stock, so ordered this online as a pre order. Called to see if it had arrived and was told it would be dispatched Wednesday.... Come Tuesday, get a knock on the door and it's standing on my doorstep on its own! Covid 19 delivery; the courier had stood it up on the doorstep, knocked on the door and run to his van LOL Couldn't recommend more! Thanks Playwell

I recently bought a karambit knife from PMA and i was delighted with it, it exceeded my expectations, double edged and very sharp, the handle fitted perfectly in my hand and its construction was extremely solid. I will definitely use this company again, the kurkri next i think 👍👍

Before my first ever visit, I thought this was a proper shop, but apparently not! The establishment is housed within the confines of a "Yellow Storage" unit upstairs! That aside, a great place for all your requirements. There are many items not even on their website that are worth a look in store. Very friendly helpful staff, with a good in house stock of goods. Only gripe is the rudeness of some of the reception staff, who in one instance didn't bother to call the Playwell staff down to meet me, as she was on a private phone call to a friend of hers.

Waited in the outside bay and called the office no. Was met by one of the guys and taken inside for a tour. As this is a temp base, stock is scattered around various lock-ups. Really helpful staff take you to what you're asking for with lots of choice and allowed to make your own hands on assessment of equipment.

I have been shopping at Playwell for years. It has always been my No.1 store for martials arts supplies. I hadn't been here for a couple of years due to downtime with surgery so I have only just got back to training and needed some new gear. I was unaware with the tragic news of what happened with the old store, so unfortunately the owners had to set up all their stock in storage. It was a bit confusing when I arrived as there was no signs advertising Playwell Martial Arts, however I rang up and someone came down to help and took me to the huge range of stock. He was really knowledgeable and found everything I needed. He also made some suggestions with kung fu trousers which I ended up preferring to my existing ones. I will definitely be back to buy more soon, and I look forward to their future store once everything is sorted. Highly recommended. Top customer service. The best martial arts supplies!!!
