Went for my first Gait Analysis today and learnt a lot from Gary, the attendant who helped me. Took me through a lot of information around my running style which I had absolutely no idea on. Tried on quite a few pairs, as well as some that weren't for me - but Gary wanted me to be able to see the differences, which really helped solidify my choice. Re: The Appointment itself, you do have to book and it says this online, regardless of store business, assume this is just policy, so you can't have a go at staff for obeying company policy! Lots of poor reviews - seems they're tied to weekend dates - so maybe the management can see what's going on there, personally no issues for me!

The guy who served me seemed disinterested. The girl was nice. But they didnt have any of the right sizes in stock, which was fine. But went to another running shoe store and they spent time patiently talking to me about what type of shoe I needed, looked at the shape of my feet, and helped me find the perfect size among all the variance. That is what this store is missing.

Went in today having booked an appt for the gait analysis. Needed to replace my worn out Saucony runners. Good to see they were expecting me, and from there Nils was tremendously helpful. He took plenty of time to explain the mechanics of the foot when running as opposed to walking, and also why the need to keep running shoes just for running, not the gym etc. He easily established I needed a stabilising shoe, and was even able to find one that was slightly wider to prevent recurrent blisters. I heartily recommend the service to anyone who wants to make their choice based on the advice of an expert.

Nils blew our minds with his highly insightful and helpful knowledge about running shoes. I've been running for many double digit years and have had gait analysis multiple times in other Runners Need shops, but I've never received this level of service and information to help me make the right choice now and in the future. My husband is an even more experienced and serious runner and he learned quite a few new things, too. Thank you for the amazing service! Great half hour spent with Nils at Running Need, gait analysis on a treadmill and really clear explanations that even a first-timer can understand. Store was clean and bright, plenty of Covid safety in place. Got a nice new pair of Adidas, looking forwards to my next run.

I made an appointment for a Gait analysis and was greeted by Georgio. He was very helpful and patient, he informed me of all analysis that was made and thoroughly answered all my questions. He then proceeded to suggest me the right pair of shoes and I never felt I was being pressured to buy something and instead was made to feel like I was making the best choice to improve my runs and prevent injury.

Great service*****! From location to the nice and expertised staff, there's nothing to be bored about! And they promote /sell my favourite shoe brand at the moment: On Cloud! As a customer I must say: pure satisfaction!

Very knowledgeable staff (Thank you James!) who take care to provide the 'right' shoe for your running style and purpose. There is no awkward push to make a sale. It can get busy but it's worth the wait. Would recommend visiting.

Anyone who’s keen to understand what trainers they need, and to learn more about what to look out for when purchasing the right trainers can learn a lot by going here. The gait analysis helped me, and there was no pressure to buy on the day.

Good selection of shoes & took advice on calf issues. Bought the pair of On's recommended to me and a set of compression socks that have proved to be my buy of the year.

Came having had bad advice from another trainer specialist and the man was super helpful explaining what was wrong with the previous trainers and why I was getting pain. He then put me in some new trainers and they are spot on!

They have a treadmill in the shop, so you can run to see you trainers are a good fit for you. Also a shop assistant can record a video of you running and advice on the type of trainers you need.
