E. 5.Brilliant service from Emma and Jess. I was in York for a few days and my old Nike shoes had given up the ghost! Emma helped guide me through a selection of walking shoes, which were great value. Jess also had fantastic product knowledge for the waterproofing solutions. Would happily recommend them both to family & friends, or anybody in need of a good quality pair of outdoor shoes for the summer!

R. D.The wife lives this place because they always seem to be having a seasonal sale or a closing down sale. The last two times I've been in there I've bought a rucksack. The own brand 25L ones are usually reduced from £39.99 to £15.99 or something like that. The quality is pretty good and there are lots of pockets inside, which is always a bonus.

If you know the Mountain Warehouse brand, then you know that they sell 'own label' outdoor clothing, footwear and camping equipment at competitive prices - and the quality and specification of items us as good as the big name brands being sold at twice the price.
This store is on two levels, ladies and kids on the ground floor, men's on the upper floor (stairs only, no lift).
